When Xu Chen opened his eyes again, he felt a heaviness in his head, and the discomfort in his body was clear both inside and out. What came into view was the completely dark sky outside the floor-to-ceiling windows.

A faint, almost ghostly rustling sound of a door opening suddenly came from the quiet room. He became alert instantly, subconsciously wanting to get up, but as soon as his leg moved, a bone-chilling cold sensation came from his ankle.

The room suddenly lit up, and the strong light made the beta squint instinctively. After adjusting to the light, he slowly raised his head, finally seeing the person standing at the door.

Xu Chen raised his head, staring intently at Yan ZhuGui, saying each word distinctly, “Yan ZhuGui, what exactly do you mean?”

Yan ZhuGui stood by the door with his arms crossed.
