Thirteen. Intimacy

Gu Yu felt that everything had been developing in a positive direction since that night.

Pei Shuyun, this block of ice, finally showed signs of being melted by him.

Although he still maintained a cold expression every day, he answered every question when Gu Yu spoke to him, unlike before when he would ignore him completely.

Pei Shuyun was wearing a white hoodie, leaning against the car and playing on his phone. His excessively beautiful appearance caused passersby to frequently turn their heads, yet he remained oblivious, tapping the screen of his phone, radiating an aura of detachment.

Thinking that such a coveted, noble little deer was now slowly drawing closer to him, Gu Yu felt a surge of inner satisfaction.

He quickly stepped forward, pulled Pei Shuyun into his arms, kissed his rosy lips, and used his warm embrace to dispel the chill from the body in his arms.

“How long have you been waiting?”

He rubbed Pei Shuyun’s hands warm and tucked them into his chest.

“It’s cold. Don’t come so early in the future. Be careful not to catch a chill.”

“Mhm.” Pei Shuyun allowed Gu Yu to fuss over him and responded docilely to his words.

Gu Yu felt even more pleased. He embraced the person and got into the car. “Let’s go, I’m taking you to dinner. What do you want to eat tonight?”

A while ago, Gu Yu had watched the young couples in his company being sweet and affectionate in front of the building after work, and he had tentatively hinted to Pei Shuyun about coming to pick him up every day. He had thought it was just wishful thinking, but unexpectedly, Pei Shuyun actually started driving to the company building to wait for him every day after that.
