Chapter 12: The Male Mother’s Big Chest is at the Forefront, Isn’t the Cub Handsome…?

Chapter 12 The Male Mother’s Big Chest is at the Forefront, Isn’t the Cub Handsome…?

The male insectoid cub’s voice was clear and his face was tender, but in front of his biological male father’s sickbed, this undisguised eagerness of his seemed very wicked.

Iliot’s eyes flickered, a hint of probing light flashing across them. Serra was extremely satisfied with Iliot’s perceptive reaction.

Frankly speaking, Iliot was the most “human”-like female insectoid he had ever seen. Under the distorted concepts of insectoid society and the bottomless suppression of the individual will of female insectoids, most female insectoids and sub-males had lost their own thoughts, living muddle-headed lives, startled by the slightest sound.

This didn’t strike Serra as strange, it only made him feel sad. After all, when the basic survival of a life couldn’t be guaranteed, how could he possess self-esteem, self-love, and higher-level spiritual needs? This was the current state of the insectoid race. The high-ranking male insectoids, relying on their so-called “God strength” and control of social resources, clearly didn’t regard female insectoids and sub-males as compatriots. And most female insectoids and sub-males didn’t see themselves as the same kind as male insectoids.

But Iliot maintained independent thoughts and opinions, and even dared to finalize the Duke’s mental collapse in order to protect the female insectoids and sub-males of the Duke’s Mansion. This undoubtedly helped Serra a lot and made him admire this Prince Iliot.

Even if he was a prince, it was not easy to be a female insectoid who retained her thoughts in an environment full of oppression and poisoning.

Serra curled the corners of his lips. His and Iliot’s thoughts were the same. Neither of them had any sympathy for the Duke lying paralyzed in bed, and they didn’t want this matter to involve other female insectoids and sub-males. They only wanted to attribute it to Serra, as the Duke’s heir, finding the old Duke an eyesore, and wanting to ascend to the throne as soon as possible through a blatant scheme. This was extremely rare among the insectoid race. After all, the mental energy of male insectoids depended on their rank and development, and the reproduction of male insectoids was extremely difficult, with each generation of genes being inferior to the previous, almost cutting off the possibility of undeveloped male insectoid cubs challenging their male father.

But rare didn’t mean non-existent. Where there was power, there would naturally be disputes. The transcendent status of the Imperial male insectoid nobles naturally brought more variables. When the scales were tilted, power was the most equal thing.

But even if the royal family could accept this explanation, the church couldn’t. Alec’s eyes were bloodshot as he instructed the clergy and robots he led to examine the Duke’s body several times, finally having to conclude that the Duke’s mental tendrils had no possibility of repair and his spirit had completely collapsed.

He couldn’t accept this result. The church was different from the royal family. Since the establishment of the Empire, the royal family had monopolized the strongest male insectoid bloodline. They believed that power originated from bloodline and flowed through bloodline. As far as the royal family was concerned, other male insectoids were just their insignificant subjects. After possessing supreme power, why should they share it with those inferior and incompetent male insectoids?

But the church’s philosophy was completely the opposite. No matter how secretly they plotted to cultivate higher-level male insectoids, they insisted on the idea that all male insectoids were messengers of the snatch mother and were children of God. Only by giving all male insectoids power could they maintain the Empire’s rule and the suppression of female insectoids and sub-males.

The relationship between these two major power systems of the Empire was relatively harmonious, but these subtle differences were the loopholes Serra could exploit.

Serra watched Alec’s unbelievably frantic reaction, his eyebrows quietly lowered, revealing a gloomy expression that didn’t belong to a child, which further stimulated Alec’s nerves.

The authority of male insectoids could not be challenged! The God strength of male insectoids was divinely granted, and no external force could destroy God strength!

Alec thought crazily, suddenly releasing his mental energy, an ugly tail hook faintly visible behind him. The female insectoids and sub-males accompanying Prince Iliot from the royal family to investigate the Duke’s Mansion gasped for breath. All the insectoids were shocked by Alec’s male insectoid power, except for Serra and Iliot who didn’t move.

In Serra’s opinion, Alec’s behavior was extremely ridiculous, like a male animal that was easily flustered and frantically trying to compensate, displaying non-existent power. Alec’s two pitiful, dark green mental tendrils were completely loose and misty, far less solid than the S-grade Duke’s tendrils. His tail hook was even more ugly. In the insectoid race, the tail hook of a male insectoid could be said to be a symbol of sex. To release it on this occasion was simply scandalous.

But Serra wasn’t afraid. In Edwin’s eyes, he only saw the warm, small ball of insectoid cub sleeping beside him, facing alone a manic, disgusting-looking adult male insectoid’s tail hook. The other’s menacing, dark green tendrils seemed capable of harming the frail and chubby male insectoid cub at any moment. This almost made Edwin’s heart ache madly.

He suddenly ran out from the corner, hugged the chubby male insectoid cub, and protected the male insectoid cub in his solid chest.

Serra almost couldn’t maintain his fierce little expression. Listening to the female insectoid’s pounding heartbeat, he was both touched and embarrassed. His chubby little claws involuntarily hooked the female insectoid’s fingers, and he complained in a spoiled voice, “Male father, don’t be afraid. He’s just a bluffing, big, fat bug. He can’t hurt me.”

His words infuriated the already anxious Alec. He reluctantly complied with the doctrine of male insectoid supremacy, and instead fiercely swung a mental tendril at Iliot, his voice filled with contempt:

“Is Prince Iliot planning to listen to these insectoid cubs and lowly bugs, and ignore the Duke? Since when is it a lowly female insectoid’s place to interfere with the affairs of high-level male insectoids?! So what if you are royalty? Sub-males and female insectoids with high status are just high-class whores. The reason you can swagger outside the palace is because of your male insectoid brother. The noble Prince Colean is being deceived by you! Male and female insectoids born from the same father cannot produce the bloodline of God. You filthy and lowly bug, you have been relying on the Prince’s favor to bewitch him, you are shameless to the extreme, what qualifications do you have to speak on behalf of the royal family?”

    “Bang—”

Before the mental tendril’s attack could get close, a black choker with a golden bird wing pattern on Iliot’s neck flickered frequently, supporting a protective shield that reduced Alec’s attack. Iliot dodged away somewhat embarrassedly, his hair disheveled and sweat seeping from his face.

The thing he wore around his neck was the royal family mark that his male insectoid brother had personally branded on him. Alec was right about one thing. The seemingly glamorous female insectoid prince was just like a slave in front of the royal family’s male insectoids, or even… when the male insectoid prince had disgusting thoughts, the female insectoid prince was just a more agreeable private prostitute.

The color drained from Iliot’s face, but he quickly restrained all his embarrassment and straightened his back again.

“Unfortunately, Your Eminence Alec, as you can see, my brother is still satisfied with me. He personally put this protective collar on me and is willing to listen to my opinions on the Duke’s inheritance of the title.”

He raised the corners of his lips, and his already extremely captivating appearance suddenly bloomed. The noble temperament cultivated by the royal family made Alec’s painstakingly created facade of strength and hollowness seem especially ridiculous. And that almost made Alec’s eyes turn red with anger, but he still withdrew the attacking tendrils.

In the end, what Alec was afraid of was Prince Colean, who gave Iliot protection, the only double S-rank male insectoid in the Empire today. Regardless of his identity as the heir to the Empire or his incomparable genes, even if Colean engaged in consanguineous mating, which the church criticized, Alec didn’t dare to raise any objections.

The protective choker on Iliot’s neck couldn’t truly resist the attack of male insectoid mental energy, but this limited protective power was also the top technology in the entire Empire. After all, no technology could challenge God strength!

Alec’s fat face trembled constantly in anger. Finally, unable to tell whether Iliot was bluffing or not, in his anger he used his mental tendrils as a whip and slammed them fiercely at the rebellious black-haired military female holding the male insectoid cub and watching him warily.

He remembered, this was Edwin who had been arranged for the Duke by the church not long ago! This unlucky lowly bug, his male master was unconscious, how dare he live? All the female insectoids and sub-males here had to die to defend the dignity of the male insectoids!

The dark green mental tendrils attacked from the air. Edwin’s pupils shrank slightly. According to his reaction ability and combat instincts, even if he couldn’t fight against the male insectoid’s mental tendrils, he could skillfully let the attack avoid vital points to protect himself, but he knelt motionless in place, his broad back bent, his pectoral muscles tightly pressing against the male insectoid cub’s chubby little body, protecting the insectoid cub tightly underneath him.

The male insectoid cub, locked inside the big chest muscles, had a sinking expression. He didn’t expect that Alec from the church would behave so crazily, not only not putting the royal family’s female insectoid in his eyes, but also not caring about the Duke’s Mansion’s heir at all.

The church had spoiled these male insectoids too much, they were already used to killing and oppression.

Originally worried about getting into trouble, Serra didn’t want to confront the church head-on. But how could he allow the church’s male insectoid to hurt Edwin? The male insectoid cub lightly narrowed his eyes, and two beams of pitch-black mental tendrils suddenly shot out, fiercely batting away Alec’s tendrils, immediately causing the pig-like ugly male insectoid to let out a shocking scream.

    “Ah!!!”

The fat male insectoid sat down heavily on the ground, even crushing his own tail hook. The severe pain made Alec shed dirty snot. The murderous intent on his face twisted into terror as he stared fixedly at the male insectoid cub in Edwin’s arms, who was revealing half of his round, chubby face and a tuft of small curly hair.

Black…? Iliot’s face changed drastically, but he quickly restrained himself. He bowed to the male insectoid cub and said respectfully, “Your Eminence Serra, the royal palace’s invitation will be sent soon. Please accept the royal family’s conferral and become the new Duke of Noah.”

The male insectoid cub raised his small head and nodded to the royal female insectoid in the white uniform. But when he turned to Alec and the church’s entourage, a hint of mockery flashed in his eyes. The male insectoid cub buried his chubby face in the black-haired military female’s chest, ignoring the crowd of insectoids around him who were stunned by his actions, and said in a childish, spoiled voice:

“Male father, this fat bug is so stupid. Doesn’t he know how male father ended up lying here? He won’t be as fragile as male father, will he? Won’t his mental energy collapse with just a light touch? Hee hee hee…”
