Chapter 9: Brother Qi is Amazing

This time Lian Xun seriously confirmed it several times; it was definitely Qi Luzhi’s private message.

[Lian Xun: Didn’t intend to send it to anyone else, only sending it to you.]

[Lian Xun: You didn’t even help me out, just let me make a fool of myself in the group T_T]

The group was urging to start the meeting again.

[Qi Luzhi: Let’s have the meeting first.]

Lian Xun had no choice but to put down his phone, pouted, and opened his computer.

The meeting lasted a full three hours, and by the time it ended, the sky was already turning dark.

As soon as Lian Xun saw Qi Luzhi’s avatar disappear from the online conference room, he immediately sent him a private message.

[Lian Xun: Um, are you free tonight?]

[Lian Xun: I want to see you.]

No reply from the other side…

Lian Xun was exasperated.

[Lian Xun: Qi Luzhi, are you impotent or something?]

A few minutes later.

[Qi Luzhi: Come to my place tonight!]

Having received the desired answer, Lian Xun turned off his phone and immediately stood up from his desk, ready to leave work.

It was rush hour, and the traffic was heavy. Lian Xun glanced at his watch from time to time. No one was urging him, and he didn’t know what he was so anxious about.

When he arrived at the gate of Qi Luzhi’s Villa, it was just 7:30 PM. The huge European-style building crouched on the ground like a giant beast, not very clear in the dark night.

Qi Luzhi hadn’t returned home yet.

Lian Xun felt a slight disappointment in his heart. He found a place to squat down near the gate, took out his phone, thought for a moment, and didn’t send Qi Luzhi a message.

After more than ten minutes, Lian Xun’s legs were a little numb, and his stomach started to rumble. As soon as Qi Luzhi called him, he came, forgetting to eat.

But he was willing.

A black Bentley sped over and slowly reduced its speed at the gate of the Villa. The Villa gate opened directly, and the Bentley didn’t stop, driving straight in.

Lian Xun grumbled inwardly. Was Qi Luzhi blind to not see such a big person standing here? He just drove straight in like that.

But he was just thinking it, and didn’t dare to say it in front of Qi Luzhi.

Lian Xun walked into the courtyard and arrived at the door of the Living Room at the same time as Qi Luzhi, who had just parked the car.

“Came so early? How long have you been waiting?” Qi Luzhi asked while opening the door, his expressionless.

“Not long, I just arrived too.”

Actually, he had been waiting for more than an hour!

“Come in.”

Lian Xun entered the Living Room and suddenly felt a sense of unease, unsure whether to stand or sit.

Mist filled the Bathroom, and the sound of water was rushing. Lian Xun didn’t notice that the door had been opened and a figure had squeezed in.

A slightly cool body suddenly pressed against his back, and his waist was also encircled by a large hand.

Lian Xun instinctively tried to dodge forward, but was pulled back even harder, crashing into a firm chest.

“Want to run?” A deep voice came from behind his ear.

“No.” Lian Xun’s ears were completely red. He never expected Qi Luzhi to suddenly come in.

“What did you call me?” Qi Luzhi asked, panting heavily.

“Brother Qi!”

“Brother Qi… you’re the most amazing, just let me go tonight!”

Lian Xun had tears in the corners of his eyes. Why did it feel like Qi Luzhi was getting even more excited?

“Most amazing? Do you know how amazing others are?” Qi Luzhi’s tone was dangerous.

“No, I don’t have anyone else.”

Lian Xun had explained it several times, but no matter how many times he explained, Qi Luzhi still liked to ask him this question.

One o’clock in the morning.

Lian Xun was lying on Qi Luzhi’s bed. He had originally planned to have a heart-to-heart talk with Qi Luzhi, but now, he didn’t even have the strength to say a word.

Qi Luzhi was leaning against the headboard, smoking. The two of them were silent, and after a long while, Lian Xun propped himself up and slowly crawled off the bed.

“Where are you going?” Qi Luzhi asked.

Lian Xun glanced at Qi Luzhi and said aggrievedly, “Going to sleep in the Guestroom.”

Rather than being kicked out by Qi Luzhi later, he might as well leave on his own now.

“Guestroom… Aunt Liu didn’t clean it up.”

Lian Xun paused. What did that mean?

He looked at Qi Luzhi, his eyes filled with hopeful light, waiting for the other party’s next words.

Qi Luzhi flicked the ash of his cigarette and took a few heavy puffs, but didn’t say anything else.

“Then can I sleep here tonight?” Lian Xun tentatively asked.

Happiness still had to be fought for!
