Chapter 59: Are the Male Lead and His Mother Playing Charades?

Zhou Zhou, holding a pair of dark gray sweatpants, walked out of a door and turned right into an absurdly large bathroom.

Realizing this was Pei Yanlie’s master bedroom bathroom, he stopped and carefully examined it.

The floor was covered with light gray tiles, and the left wall was covered with a whole, bright glass panel, allowing a clear view of every move.

Zhou Zhou complained, “Tsk, tsk, how perverted.”

A scene from the novel popped into his mind.

The female lead was pinned against the glass wall by the male lead, crying her eyes out, forced to look at herself in the mirror, her face flushed with shame.

Zhou Zhou envied, “He knows how to play, really knows how to play!”

He stood in front of the mirror for a while, admiring his figure, thinking it was quite good too. Although he didn’t have a six-pack, picking up a delicate and soft girlfriend wouldn’t be a problem.

Thinking about it, his mouth became dry, and seeing the guy in the mirror gradually blushing, he curled his lips and muttered, “You don’t even have a girlfriend, what are you thinking about?”

He bared his two straight, long legs and quickly walked to the sink, opened the cabinet, took out a hairdryer, dried the sweatpants, and then put them on.

The sweatpants were still warm, slightly burning his butt.

Although a white shirt with sweatpants was a bit ugly, he had no choice, so he opened the door and walked out of the bathroom.

    “Ah!”

Just two steps out, he was startled by the man leaning against the door.

[What are you doing standing here out of nowhere, trying to scare someone to death?!]

Pei Yanlie expressionlessly sized up the startled young man, and the desire that had just subsided instantly swept through his body again.

The white shirt was on him, loose and casual, the collar open wide, revealing a clear view of the ambiguous marks under his collarbone, and the alluring scenery of his chest.

Pei Yanlie forcefully suppressed the desire in his heart and asked in a deep voice, “Why didn’t you dry your hair?”

“Ah? Forgot.” He raised his hand and touched his wet hair, then turned and walked back into the bathroom.

Just as he took out the hairdryer, a large hand snatched it away.

Zhou Zhou raised his eyes, looking at him questioningly, “Huh?”

Pei Yanlie didn’t say anything, turned on the hairdryer, and a soft sound came from inside.

“No need, I can do it myself.”

Zhou Zhou reached out to take the hairdryer, but Pei Yanlie raised it high and said in a light voice, “Let’s get this done quickly, I still have to take you home later.”

Zhou Zhou said awkwardly, “I can dry it myself.”

Pei Yanlie said directly, “You’re too slow.”

After saying that, he started drying Zhou Zhou’s hair, his fingers running through his hair, occasionally brushing against his scalp.

Zhou Zhou only felt his scalp tingling, and the hair on his body stood on end.

[Big brother, your behavior is really problematic!]

A terrible thought surged into his mind.

[Could it be that you’re bisexual?]

[What’s with drying a big man’s hair for him?]

Pei Yanlie’s body was very close, bringing a strong masculine hormone scent.

Zhou Zhou tensed up, his eyelids drooping slightly, and remained silent.

Pei Yanlie glanced down at him, quickly curled his lips, and gently ran his fingers through his soft hair.

The hair brushed across his palms and fingertips, bringing a wave of itchiness.

After the hair was dry, he reluctantly let go.

“Let’s go, to the first floor.” After saying that, he lifted his foot and walked outside.

[The male lead shouldn’t be gay, right?]

    [I must be overthinking it!]

[The male lead plays so passionately with the female lead, how could he be gay?]

Pei Yanlie didn’t turn his head or answer the tangled questions in his mind, he only remained silent.

As soon as the two of them went downstairs, Madam Wen stood up and walked slowly towards Zhou Zhou.

She sized up Zhou Zhou, glanced at her son with slight disapproval.

In just twenty minutes, he had messed him up like this, the hickeys on his neck and below his collarbone were very obvious.

Madam Wen walked to the side, waved to him, and said softly, “Little Zhou, come over here, Auntie has something to say to you.”

Pei Yanlie naturally knew what she wanted to say and directly stopped her, “Mom, it’s getting late, I’ll take him home first.”

He couldn’t let his mother disrupt his rhythm, in case Zhou Zhou discovered that he coveted him, he would definitely start playing hide-and-seek.

Zhou Zhou looked at Madam Wen in confusion, frowning slightly.

[We’re not that familiar, what do you want to say to me?]

Madam Wen smiled and chided, “Yanlie, don’t go too far.”

Pei Yanlie nodded and softly “hm”ed, “Mom, I know what I’m doing.”

“I saw it all.” Madam Wen continued to smile.

Pei Yanlie glanced at Zhou Zhou’s collarbone, and said solemnly, “I’ll be more discreet next time.”

Madam Wen asked, “How long has it been?”

Pei Yanlie looked directly into her gentle, watery eyes, and said in a low voice, “He doesn’t know.”

Madam Wen’s eyes revealed a hint of sympathy, and her voice was even gentler, “Oh~ Is it just your wishful thinking?”

“Yes, don’t worry.” Pei Yanlie raised his eyebrows almost imperceptibly, thinking that Zhou Zhou couldn’t escape his grasp.

Madam Wen glanced at the Five Emperors Coin Bracelet on Zhou Zhou’s wrist, and said slowly, “I’ve been suspicious since I saw the thing that Mom gave you.”

    Zhou Zhou: …

[What are you two talking about? Why can’t I understand a word?]

Pei Yanlie looked at the bewildered young man and said softly, “Mom, let’s talk another day.”

Madam Wen nodded, her eyebrows and eyes filled with a gentle smile, and said softly, “Yes, go ahead. Little Zhou, come over and play again another day.”

Zhou Zhou scratched his head blankly, “Um, okay,” and followed Pei Yanlie out of the villa.

He questioned, “Senior Pei, what were you talking about just now?”

Pei Yanlie looked at him deeply and said lightly, “It’s nothing.”

    [Tch, playing charades!]

[If you don’t want to say, forget it.]

He stopped and said, “Hey, I forgot to take my shirt.”

“It’s okay, come over and get it another day.” Pei Yanlie replied in a light voice, a dark light flashing in his eyes.

Even after getting in the car and returning to his brother’s villa, he still felt like his head was covered in a fog.

Pei Yanlie’s performance today was really strange, especially the act of helping him dry his hair, it was so effeminate.

He walked into Zhou Jin’s villa with a heavy heart, and a gentle voice came from the living room.

“Little Zhou, where did you go to play? Dressed like this.” Gu Yuanci leaned lazily on the sofa with his legs crossed, watching Zhou Zhou in a white shirt with interest, teasing him.

Zhou Zhou glanced at him and snorted, “Staying at home late at night with my brother, just the two of you, what are you planning to do?”

At this moment, Zhou Jin walked down from the second floor of the villa, frowning tightly, and asked, “Whose clothes are these?”

Zhou Zhou lowered his eyes and looked at the clothes on his body, complaining, “Tsk, why are you two so nosy?”

Zhou Jin walked up to him, questioned with a stern face, “The size of these clothes clearly isn’t yours, were you out on a date with some man just now?”

Zhou Zhou said unhappily, “My clothes got wet, so I borrowed someone else’s. I’m straight, stop imagining things.”

Gu Yuanci dragged out his tone and teased, “Oh~ Straight.”

“Yes, naturally straighter than you guys.” Zhou Zhou walked towards the stairs, waving to them.

Zhou Jin and Gu Yuanci exchanged a glance, their eyes both a little evasive.
