Chapter 37: An Anonymous Love Letter from a Male Classmate

“Alright, everyone, gather at the sports ground.”

The class monitor, with a book tucked under his arm, walked onto the podium with a stern face and waved his hand at everyone, acting like old Qu.

“I haven’t finished breakfast yet, you guys go ahead.”

“Did you do the homework that was assigned before the holiday? Quickly let me have a look for reference.”

“Oh, so after referencing, you’ll just copy it, right?”

    “Ahaha~”

Inside the classroom, the students were chatting amongst themselves, the noise incessant.

Zhou Zhou frowned tightly, nibbling at his bread listlessly, looking absent-minded.

Chen Qihang observed him with a puzzled look, unable to suppress his curiosity, he leaned over and asked, “Heartbroken?”

Hitting the nail on the head, Zhou Zhou snapped out of his daze, gave him a light glance, and said casually, “Do I look like someone who would be heartbroken?”

Chen Qihang nodded, stopped pursuing the matter, stood up to leave, and tossed back a sentence: “Hurry up and eat, I’m going to the sports ground first.”

Zhou Zhou looked down at the bread in his hand, finding it dry and unappetizing.

Sigh, at least it was his first love since coming to this world, even if it was the irresponsible kind, did it have to be so damn awful!

He stood up and walked out, stepping in his brand-new designer sneakers.

The class monitor summoned up his courage and stopped Zhou Zhou, meeting the other’s puzzled gaze, he stammered, “You haven’t submitted your sports event registration form yet.”

Perhaps spurred by the heartbreak, Zhou Zhou turned around, walked back to his seat, opened his backpack, and took out the blank sports registration form.

Then, with a lazy gait, he walked to the class monitor and said lightly, “Please fill it out for me, class monitor, all the events.”

The class monitor stood frozen in place, dumbfounded, was he sure he heard right?

He wanted to ask, but Zhou Zhou had already left.

There were over a dozen sports events, divided into men’s and women’s groups. Students who won the top three positions would receive generous rewards sponsored by the school’s shareholders.

The competition was ranked based on the number of points earned. After the sports meet, whoever had the most points would take first place.

The more sports events one registered for, the greater the chance of winning first place.

The class monitor picked up Zhou Zhou’s sports registration form and glanced at it, muttering, “With his sloth-like movements, is he sure he won’t be in last place?”

Zhou Zhou was usually lazy, but that didn’t mean he was physically weak.

In his past life, he had been a sports student for a while, mastering many techniques, and he was full of confidence in himself.

As long as he made a name for himself at the sports meet, showing off his handsome and compelling side to the female students, he wouldn’t have to worry about not finding a girlfriend.

What if he accidentally became a heartthrob, wouldn’t realizing his long-cherished wish be just around the corner?

Zhou Zhou raised his eyebrows, a smug smile rippling across his face.

The spacious sports ground was already crowded with people. He slowly walked to the back of the A1 class’s line, lowered his head slightly, and played with his phone.

After playing for less than two minutes, Qu Jing walked to his side with a stern face and reprimanded in a low voice, “The grade director will be coming to inspect during the meeting, put your phone away.”

Zhou Zhou raised his eyes to scan him, pursed his lips, and unusually didn’t argue, turning off the phone screen and casually stuffing it into his pocket.

A trace of surprise flashed in Qu Jing’s eyes, he sized him up, and seeing that his appearance was neat and tidy, he nodded in relief.

He asked curiously, “I heard from the class monitor that you’ve signed up for all the sports events?”

Zhou Zhou tugged at the corner of his mouth and said slowly, “Yeah, is there a problem?”

Qu Jing patted him on the shoulder and said meaningfully, “Don’t push yourself too hard.”

Thinking to himself, with this lazy and boneless appearance, he would probably struggle to run even a hundred meters, right?

Zhou Zhou curved his eyes and said flippantly, “Don’t worry, I’m an all-around athlete, just wait for my gold medals.”

The boys in front of him couldn’t help but twitch their shoulders after hearing these boastful words, obviously snickering.

Zhou Zhou didn’t take it to heart, chuckled, and said nothing more.

The sports ground was filled with the chattering of conversations until the principal of Beicheng University appeared on the high platform, and the students closed their mouths and quietly looked at his obese figure.

    “Good morning, teachers and students!”

“The purpose of convening this meeting today is mainly twofold. First, this Friday, Beicheng will hold its most grand sports meet since its founding. At that time, the senior leaders of the school and a group of shareholders will participate in our sports meet and work together with the students.”

“Zhou Zhou,” an unfamiliar male voice came from the nearby line. Zhou Zhou opened his eyes and looked in the direction of the voice.

A letter was handed over. Zhou Zhou reached out to take it and opened it.

The boy next to him explained, “This was passed over by someone else, I don’t know who it’s from.”

Zhou Zhou gave a soft “hmm,” his gaze falling on the contents of the letter.

Two bright red hearts were very conspicuous, it was obviously a love letter.

[Zhou Zhou, hello. From the first day of school, I was deeply attracted to you. Your casual and wild half-ponytail, your beautiful phoenix eyes that seem to have hooks, your perky butt, long legs, and fair little feet, all without exception are enticing me. For a week, I’ve fantasized about you in my dreams, longing for you to obediently nestle in my arms – a male classmate secretly coveting you.]

“Fuck!” Zhou Zhou was instantly enraged, tearing the letter to pieces!

The surrounding students heard the roar and their gazes fell on him, their faces showing a look of inquiry.

“What’s going on with that student over there? I’m speaking on the stage, and you’re also speaking off the stage, is that it? If you like talking so much, why don’t I invite you up to say a few words?” The principal of Beicheng University said with a dark face, his voice carrying obvious anger.

Zhou Zhou lowered his head, his face gloomy, and remained silent. Because of the stimulation, his phoenix eyes were already red.

Which stupid guy actually set his sights on him, if he finds him, he’ll beat him to death!

“Silence! Next is the focus of today’s meeting. At three o’clock in the morning last night, our school held an emergency faculty meeting.”

“As a key university in Yucheng, Beicheng University focuses on harmonious teaching and never interferes with the love lives of students.”

“However, the large-scale incident involving many couples on the Lover’s Bridge in Yucheng High School recently has attracted the attention of the leaders.”

“Therefore, from today onwards, the school will strictly crack down on students dating on campus. We hope everyone will cooperate with our work, thank you!”

The students looked at each other: …

The school leaders were out of their minds, what did they think they were, elementary school students, banning early love?

Zhou Zhou was immersed in anger and didn’t hear a word until after the meeting when he came back to his senses.

He ruthlessly threw the shredded paper in his hand into the trash can, clenched his fists, and said coldly, “I hope I don’t catch you, otherwise I’ll beat you until you can’t have children!”

Qu Minghui happened to pass by and immediately came over to joke, “Yo, what’s my brother Zhou muttering to the trash can for?”

Zhou Zhou lowered his eyes to look at him and asked through gritted teeth, “Are there homosexuals in Beicheng?”

“Ah? Isn’t that normal? There’s one couple in my B2 class alone, they’re all lovey-dovey and huggy every time class ends, disgusting!”

    Qu Minghui shivered.

“Speaking of which, these school leaders are really speechless, banning people from dating for no reason, they’re too idle.”

    Zhou Zhou: …

A strange feeling welled up in his heart, he couldn’t figure out the reason, his fingers unconsciously rubbing against the Five Emperors Coin Bracelet.
