    Chapter 137: Awake?

    Chapter 137: Awake?

A thunderclap erupted in his ears. Hearing Sun Shu’s words, Liang Xiuzhu felt as if he’d been struck by lightning.

He hadn’t expected Sun Shu to actually have designs on him.

The scent of Sun Shu still lingered on his lips. The brief touch had been enough to throw Liang Xiuzhu, a virgin boy who had never experienced the affairs of men and women, into disarray.

He pushed him away with a violent shove, putting all his strength into it.

Covering his mouth, Liang Xiuzhu pointed at Sun Shu, his face as red as a monkey’s butt, and angrily said, “Drunkard! How dare you take advantage of me!!!”

With a dull thud, Sun Shu was caught off guard by the push. His head slammed into the wooden bed frame, and a dull pain shot through the back of his head, making him grunt in pain, “Ugh….”

Clutching his head, he looked up at Liang Xiuzhu, never expecting such a reaction.

    That was quite a shove.

    “You… are you alright?”

The sound had been solid, and seeing Sun Shu’s handsome face contorted with pain, Liang Xiuzhu was also stunned. He hadn’t realized he’d used so much force.

He hurried closer, bent down, and waved his hand in front of him, his delicate eyebrows furrowed with worry. “Didn’t you get knocked silly…..”

“Thanks for your mercy; it wasn’t enough to cause any problems.”

Having recovered, Sun Shu leaned against the bed, staring intently at his close-up eyes, his gaze clear, without a trace of the drunken muddle from before.

    “You?…..”

Even slow-witted Liang Xiuzhu now realized something was wrong. Seeing his serious expression and his clear speech, he didn’t seem like a drunk at all.

Their eyes met, and the air was silent for a moment.

“You pretended to be drunk to trick me!!” Liang Xiuzhu’s eyes were full of disbelief, and he was uncontrollably angry.

Exposed, Sun Shu’s face didn’t show a trace of change. He still looked at Liang Xiuzhu with a calm, somewhat profound gaze.

In any case, he had said what he wanted to say, and now he was waiting for Liang Xiuzhu’s answer.

Recalling what had just happened between them, Liang Xiuzhu couldn’t sit still any longer. Without even bothering to question him, he immediately turned and ran.

What stupid things had he done!

Seeing this, Sun Shu’s eyes sharpened, and he immediately flipped out of bed.

How could he let him escape?

Just as Liang Xiuzhu grabbed the door handle, ready to flee, a hot body pressed against him from behind, quickly pinning him against the door, unable to move.

Their bodies were pressed together tightly, and Sun Shu’s large hands gripped his wrists firmly. Through the thin clothing, Liang Xiuzhu could feel the warmth radiating from Sun Shu’s chest.

The position was too ambiguous. Liang Xiuzhu was so embarrassed that his face was flushed red, his chest heaving violently. His mind was blank, and even his words became incoherent.

“You you…. you… what are you doing? Let go of me….”

Realizing the situation, Sun Shu hadn’t expected things to turn out this way. Beneath him was Liang Xiuzhu’s slender, soft waist. As he held him there, Sun Shu could look down and see his flushed neck.

Liang Xiuzhu was naturally blessed with a beautiful appearance. His skin was like solidified cream, and his dark hair scattered across his skin was like fine soot falling into white jade.

The fragile carotid artery pulsed on his fair skin, delicate and alluring.

Holding him like this gave Sun Shu the illusion of having caught a delicate butterfly.

It was just a pity that this butterfly was quite feisty.

“Sun Shu! Did you go crazy from drinking? Let go of me!” Liang Xiuzhu struggled in his arms, only anger remaining after the initial embarrassment.

Liang Xiuzhu’s face was flushed red as he said fiercely, “If you don’t let go, I’ll kick you to death!!!”

Returning to his senses, Sun Shu looked down at his agitated expression and couldn’t help but curl his lips into a smile.

This was Liang Xiuzhu, the Liang Xiuzhu he knew.

Restraining his hands, Sun Shu turned him around and pinned him against the door. Lowering his head, he leaned closer and murmured, “Liang Xiuzhu, did you hear everything I just said?”

Forced to look him in the eye, Liang Xiuzhu felt uncomfortable all over. His eyes darted around wildly.

This Sun Shu was simply too strange.

Was this still the same Sun Shu who usually wore a wooden face and spoke in a way that could choke people to death? Why did his eyes seem to want to drown him now? Liang Xiuzhu shivered and decided to lower his head and play possum.

He was internally collapsing: I’m not deaf, of course, I heard it!!!

Seeing that he didn’t speak, Sun Shu moved closer inch by inch. Gazing at the trembling eyelashes on his face and his tightly pressed lips, he instantly felt the alcohol rising, and his heart followed, sinking into intoxication.

Pinching his chin, forcing him to meet his gaze, Sun Shu’s tone was gentler than ever before: “Now that you’ve heard it, what’s your answer?”

    “Ah?… An…swer…”

Liang Xiuzhu felt like his tongue was twisting into a mess.

How was he supposed to know? His good brother had suddenly said he liked him and was demanding an answer…

    It was too terrifying.

He had maintained his purity for so many years. He hadn’t even touched a girl’s hand; what answer could he possibly have?

“That… I… I…” Liang Xiuzhu gritted his teeth and suddenly closed his eyes: “I’m not gay!! We should still be…”

    Brothers…

Before he could finish speaking, his lips were sealed. Sun Shu put his arms around his waist and kissed him on the lips, a smug smile on his face, “Not gay? But you don’t seem to dislike it.”

As soon as these words were spoken, Liang Xiuzhu’s closed eyes widened abruptly: “I… I was just…”

He stammered for a long time, but he couldn’t say anything concrete. But Sun Shu was no longer fixated on his answer. Because Liang Xiuzhu’s various reactions had already told him the answer.

Seeing that Liang Xiuzhu didn’t hate it, he couldn’t push him too hard. He would just wait for him to slowly figure it out.

“Alright.” Sun Shu released his hand: “It’s getting late; go to bed early.”

With that, he went to the bed on his own, lay down, and covered himself with the blanket.

Liang Xiuzhu, on the other hand, looked at Sun Shu’s actions with a stunned expression, unable to understand how things had turned out this way again. His wildly beating heart hadn’t calmed down yet, and his body seemed to still retain the faint smell of alcohol from Sun Shu.

Stroking his heart, Liang Xiuzhu stood there for a while. He finally regained his strength and looked at Sun Shu on the bed. Liang Xiuzhu didn’t have the courage to share a bed with him.

Opening the door, the outside was pitch black. The late spring night was still very cold, and he couldn’t possibly sleep in the kitchen, could he?

Very dejectedly, he closed the door. After thinking about it, Liang Xiuzhu gritted his teeth and decided to find a chair to make do.

He took out a blanket from the cabinet, draped it over his body, curled himself up in the armchair, and cursed inwardly: “It’s clearly my bed! Why is he sleeping in the bed! And I’m sleeping on a stool!”

But he didn’t dare to provoke Sun Shu, fearing that he would stick to him again and kiss his mouth.

His hand unconsciously touched his lips under the blanket. Whenever Liang Xiuzhu recalled the scene just now, he was so embarrassed that he wanted to find a hole in the ground to crawl into.

Sun Shu, on the bed, closed his eyes and feigned sleep, but he took Liang Xiuzhu’s various small actions into his ears. Even with his eyes closed, he could imagine the annoyed and shy expression on Liang Xiuzhu’s beautiful face. The curve of his lips involuntarily widened.

The next morning, Liang Xiuzhu opened his eyes, and before him was the familiar bed curtain. He suddenly sat up and looked around vigilantly.

Liang Xiuzhu didn’t know when he had gotten into bed. He was the only one in the room. Seeing that his clothes were intact and still the same as before he went to sleep,

Liang Xiuzhu breathed a sigh of relief. Not seeing Sun Shu, Liang Xiuzhu thought he had already left, and the weight in his heart had just lifted.

The next second, Sun Shu pushed the door open and entered. The morning sun shone on his shoulders and back, making him appear tall and strong, his features even more defined.

Sun Shu looked at the dazed person on the bed and smiled, “Awake? Get up and eat breakfast.”
