WSIDIILMBOCIR Chapter 57
by VolareAlthough Qin Yuanging slept for less than five hours, he was so exhausted that he fell into a deep sleep, making for excellent sleep quality.
In addition, he uncharacteristically gave himself a boost during his rest time by downing a cup of black coffee. As a result, Qin Yuanging was not only not tired from staying up late but also surprisingly invigorated.
In comparison, Zhang Zhaolin looked unusually listless.
“What’s wrong with you? Didn’t sleep well last night?”
Zhang Zhaolin didn’t want to look at Qin Yuanging’s smug face and turned away, his tone heavy, “It’s not that I didn’t sleep well, it’s that I didn’t sleep at all.”
Qin Yuanging nodded and then asked Sun Qihao, who had been wearing a dark face since early morning, “What’s wrong with you? Who offended you?”
Sun Qihao glanced at Li Chongge, who was on the phone outside the door, and spat out a few words stiffly, “Figure it out yourself!”
Don’t think he didn’t know. Li Chongge had only returned to his room this morning, so where he was last night was something Sun Qihao could figure out without even thinking.
He had already warned Qin Yuanging repeatedly to be careful, but he didn’t seem to take it to heart at all.
Actually, Sun Qihao wasn’t very optimistic about Qin Yuanging and Li Chongge’s relationship. After all, the Li family was a traditional, large family, and Li Chongge was undoubtedly the heir. No matter how he looked at it, he didn’t think the Li family would happily accept Li Chongge being with a man.
So, out of concern for his friend, he hoped that as few people as possible would know about it.
But Qin Yuanging himself didn’t seem to worry about it at all.
This made Sun Qihao feel very disappointed.
“Oh, it’s Jiang Muyuan, isn’t it? You two are always arguing.”
Qin Yuanging’s sincere expression successfully made Sun Qihao laugh.
A laugh of exasperation.
Deng Weien, not to mention, was half-dead, slumped on the sofa, his eyes glazed over. It was hard to tell if he hadn’t slept well or if he was still drunk.
Slumped on the other end of the sofa was Guan Yuchao, who wasn’t much better than Deng Weien. Besides being equally half-dead, his eyes were swollen shut, probably from crying all night during a drunken fit.
…
Qin Yuanging looked around and asked sincerely, “Are we really going hiking?”
He was really afraid that something might happen to them on the road.
Zhang Zhaolin stared blankly at his phone. Qin Yuanging called him several times before he finally said indifferently.
“Yuanging, your ring is quite nice.”
Deng Weien rolled his eyes. His obsession with accessories made him notice the shining ring on Qin Yuanging’s hand immediately.
Wang Jiaming held his head and buried his face in the bowl, drinking the soy milk that had just been delivered. He looked up when he heard this.
“Mr. Li is also wearing a ring. It looks quite similar to yours.”
“This is the latest trend. I have one too, but I didn’t bring it because I was planning to soak in the hot springs,” Sun Qihao said, subtly glaring at Qin Yuanging as he spoke.
Qin Yuanging rubbed the tip of his nose, feeling a little embarrassed.
Zhang Zhaolin was still staring at his phone without looking up, but he still acted with his last shred of conscience, covering up for Qin Yuanging, “I have one too, but it doesn’t match my outfit today, so I didn’t wear it.”
“Alright, I’ll tell my sales to arrange for a few more for me.”
Determined to stay ahead of fashion, Deng Weien shook his drowsy head and quickly sent a message.
Qin Yuanging tossed the pack of cigarettes he had just taken out to Sun Qihao as a thank you.
Deng Weien moved his eyes from Qin Yuanging’s ring and then accurately stepped on Zhang Zhaolin’s red line: “Where’s Tang Jingxuan? Why isn’t he here? What, are you tired of him already? You don’t take him everywhere with you anymore?”
Zhang Zhaolin finally put down his phone and asked coldly, “Why do I have to bring him? Can’t I live without him?”
Deng Weien’s already muddled brain became even more confused. What he said and what Zhang Zhaolin answered didn’t seem to be the same thing?
“Alright, since you’re looking for him, I’ll call him over.”
Deng Weien: “?”
Seeing Zhang Zhaolin about to go out to make a call, Qin Yuanging immediately followed him out.
“Do you need something?”
Sensing the footsteps behind him, Zhang Zhaolin turned his head in confusion, holding his phone.
Qin Yuanging pointed in Li Chongge’s direction, not stopping his steps, and walked directly past him.
Zhang Zhaolin let out a short chuckle, his face darkening as he began to make a call.
Qin Yuanging’s sudden appearance surprised Li Chongge for a brief moment, and he quickly hung up the phone.
“Are we leaving?”
Li Chongge’s action of hanging up the phone had a moment of unnaturalness, and that moment was captured by Qin Yuanging.
“Not yet. I guess only the two of us are going hiking this morning. They all seem to be out of it.”
Qin Yuanging wanted to ask who Li Chongge was on the phone with, but he didn’t think it was necessary.
If Li Chongge was determined to hide something from him, there was no way Qin Yuanging could find any clues.
“Okay, then let’s say hello and set off.”
Li Chongge couldn’t wait to be alone with Qin Yuanging.
In the end, Qin Yuanging didn’t get his wish to go hiking alone with Li Chongge, because Deng Weien declared that he would climb to the top of the mountain no matter what.
So, the group still set off at eight o’clock sharp as originally planned.
But Qin Yuanging and Li Chongge secretly agreed to leave at five o’clock tomorrow morning to watch the sunrise from the top of the mountain.
After finally being with Li Chongge, Qin Yuanging successfully grew a little bit of romantic cells, not much, but enough to make Li Chongge happy.
The altitude of Mi Feng Mountain was not very high, and the group finally returned to the hotel around lunchtime after wandering around.
Qin Yuanging didn’t know what Zhang Zhaolin had said to Tang Jingxuan, but when they returned, he had already arrived at the hotel. He was still as thoughtful and attentive as before, taking care of everyone meticulously for Zhang Zhaolin.
And Zhang Zhaolin’s expression was finally a little better, at least he wouldn’t be constantly staring at his phone.
Because everyone had gotten up early in the morning and had been tired out on the mountain, after lunch, everyone unanimously wanted to return to their rooms for a nap.
Qin Yuanging and Li Chongge returned to their respective rooms obediently, but Li Chongge seemed to have anticipated that someone would be restless. After entering the room, he didn’t rush to bed but stood by the door, waiting.
Sure enough, five minutes later, furtive footsteps came from outside the door.
Before Qin Yuanging could knock, Li Chongge grabbed him and pulled him inside.
“You said you were exhausted during lunch, what are you doing running over here? Don’t want to sleep?”
“Sleep together.” Qin Yuanging casually took off his windbreaker and hung it on the door, pulling Li Chongge towards the bed.
But Qin Yuanging realized halfway that he hadn’t brought his pajamas.
But neither Li Chongge nor Qin Yuanging himself would allow clothes that had been worn outside to be worn on the bed.
Li Chongge guessed what Qin Yuanging was thinking and generously gave his pajamas to Qin Yuanging.
So, with one set of pajamas, the top was worn by Qin Yuanging, and the bottoms were worn by Li Chongge.
Qin Yuanging stared greedily at Li Chongge’s broad shoulders, narrow waist, and well-defined abs, while Li Chongge appreciated Qin Yuanging’s slender and even legs moment by moment.
Qin Yuanging swallowed and said, “I haven’t smoked all morning.”
Li Chongge raised an eyebrow and deliberately asked him, “So?”
“Want to kiss?”
Li Chongge answered him without any courtesy, “Of course.”
