Chapter 53: Having Someone I Like

Li Chongge could tell that Qin Yuanging was acting strangely because of what had just happened. He wanted to say something several times, but was ruthlessly interrupted. Seeing that Qin Yuanging didn’t want to bring it up again, Li Chongge tactfully changed the subject.

In fact, Li Chongge thought it was something to be happy about, as it was a sign that Qin Yuanging liked and even enjoyed his touch.

However, considering Qin Yuanging’s competitive personality, Li Chongge wisely chose not to mention it for the time being.

Because Qin Yuanging had told Yu Keci in advance that they would be heading to Mifeng Mountain after dinner, the waiting time before the meal wasn’t long.

The two of them had barely sat down before they were at the dining table.

Yu Keci beamed as she served Qin Yuanging and Li Chongge each a large bowl of soup.

“This is a medicinal diet that I specifically asked an old Chinese doctor to prepare. It’s very good for your health, try it!”

Qin Yuanging took a sip and frowned, “Mom, it’s so bitter.”

Li Chongge said, “It tastes great.”

Yu Keci shot him a look, “Where is it bitter? You’re just being delicate! If you want to talk about bitter, is it as bitter as the iced Americano you drink?”

Qin Yuanging admired Li Chongge’s ability to lie through his teeth.

“You like it? It’s all yours.”

Qin Yuanging pushed his bowl over, punishing him for his dishonesty.

That bowl had been used by Qin Yuanging, and Yu Keci was about to remind Qin Yuanging that it was impolite. However, Li Chongge naturally took it and took a sip with a spoon.

Yu Keci was stunned, but didn’t take it to heart and instead started talking about other things.

“Xiaoyuan, who’s going on this trip?”

“Just the usual people, Sun Qihao, Deng Weien, Zhang Zhaolin, all old friends.”

Yu Keci was a little disappointed, “Not a single girl?”

She wasn’t in a hurry for Qin Yuanging to get married, but her son was at this age and not even dating, it was a waste of his good looks.

Qin Yuanging quickly glanced at Li Chongge, and was relieved when he saw that he didn’t look any different.

“Mom, don’t always bring this up…”

Qin Haoting helped his wife at the right time, “Your mother is worried about you. I already had you at your age.”

Qin Yuanging secretly touched Li Chongge’s leg under the table, and after getting his response, Qin Yuanging put down his chopsticks and looked at Yu Keci and Qin Haoting very seriously.

“Dad, Mom, I have someone I like.”

Qin Yuanging’s words were shocking, and for a moment, the three people at the table all looked at him.

“Really? Is it Miss Wei? She told me last time that she liked you quite a bit!”

Yu Keci quite liked Wei Ji Chan’s personality, and since they had just met not long ago, she immediately thought of her.

Li Chongge’s smile made Qin Yuanging feel a chill down his spine, and he quickly denied, “No, it’s not her, don’t say that!”

    “Anyway… I’ll tell you later.”

Because Li Chongge was present, Yu Keci and Qin Haoting, although very curious, didn’t ask any more questions.

After dinner, Qin Yuanging went to his room to pack a few clothes to wear for the next few days, and Li Chongge followed him into the room without missing a step.

The moment the door closed, Qin Yuanging was pulled into his arms.

    “Are you afraid?”

Knowing what Li Chongge was asking, Qin Yuanging deliberately made his tone very relaxed.

“I’m not afraid, my parents are very good, they… will respect my decision.”

Li Chongge gently kneaded the back of his neck, as a sign of comfort.

“Good, I’ll take care of things on my side as soon as possible.”

Qin Yuanging smiled, but the corners of his mouth were a little forced, because he knew it wouldn’t be easy.

Seeing Qin Yuanging’s worry, Li Chongge raised his hand and rubbed his earlobe, and was about to lean down when Qin Yuanging pushed him away.

“It’s already eight o’clock, I need to pack quickly, otherwise we’ll be late getting to the hotel.”

Li Chongge’s eyes flashed, and he followed Qin Yuanging to the cloakroom again.

“We’re only staying for three nights, you don’t need to bring a lot of things.”

Qin Yuanging was a loyal trench coat enthusiast, so packing his clothes didn’t take much time.

When he came over with some simple personal clothes, he saw Li Chongge staring blankly at the sketch on his wall.

“If you like it, I’ll bring it when I move over?”

Li Chongge turned around and took his suitcase.

“Did you tell your aunt and uncle?”

“I did, they don’t care where I live, as long as I come home to see them more often.”

Qin Yuanging suddenly stopped walking, and Li Chongge turned around in confusion, only to have his index finger hooked.

“You haven’t said yet, where am I going to live when I go back? The twenty-first floor or the twentieth floor?”

Li Chongge turned his hand over and held his whole hand in his palm, his tone was indifferent, but his words were very honest: “It mainly depends on your personal preference, I’ll live wherever you like.”

Anyway, the two of them have to live together, and where they live doesn’t matter.

He had already had people connect with the decoration company for the villa he had bought for Qin Yuanging, which had a large swimming pool in it. Qin Yuanging liked to soak in the water in the summer.

Sometimes Li Chongge would feel that he was a silver-white fish, fond of water and dazzlingly white.

Li Chongge himself didn’t have any high requirements for his residence, otherwise he wouldn’t have been living in a large flat near Jiangtan all the time.

In his opinion, living alone in a villa, the extra space would only require more people to take care of it. He didn’t mind the extra cost, but he didn’t like having many people coming and going in his private residence.

But it would be different if Qin Yuanging was there. He liked many things, and Li Chongge needed enough space to satisfy his hobbies.

In the past, being nice to Qin Yuanging required being discreet, but now, he could offer him anything he thought was good.

Qin Yuanging was harboring bad intentions in his heart, and deliberately said, “Then I think it’s best to live here.”

“Then it depends on whether your aunt and uncle agree.”

    “Agree to what?”

Li Chongge was carrying the suitcase in one hand and holding Qin Yuanging in the other. When he was almost at the door, he stopped and said quietly, “Agree to let me move in and live with you.”

Qin Yuanging chuckled and praised Li Chongge’s spirit of “perseverance”.

Qin Yuanging was about to push the door open, but was stopped by Li Chongge, whose tightly fixed gaze was very purposeful.

    “Just leave like this?”

“Of course not, we have to say hello to my parents first.”

Qin Yuanging was very good at playing dumb.

    “Today, we haven’t kissed yet.”

Li Chongge was fine not saying it, but the moment he mentioned it, Qin Yuanging thought of the awkward situation in his office.

Qin Yuanging pulled out the hand that had been held by Li Chongge, and said righteously, “This is my house, restrain yourself.”

In fact, Qin Yuanging was completely talking nonsense. Precisely because he was at home, he even had a strange excitement.

Seeming to see through Qin Yuanging’s “hypocrisy”, Li Chongge directly pinned him against the door and took what he wanted without any politeness.

After these days and nights of practice, Li Chongge had improved rapidly, and Qin Yuanging couldn’t resist at all. His originally unsteady will completely disintegrated in less than 5 seconds.

Li Chongge no longer needed to spend effort to control him, he leaned in himself.

“Xiaoyuan, I cut some fruit, take it with you on the road.”

Through a door, Qin Yuanging hung on Li Chongge’s body, the corners of his eyes were red and moist. After taking a deep breath, he made sure his tone wouldn’t be strange before daring to speak.

    “Okay, I’ll be ready soon.”

Only when he heard the footsteps leaving at the door did Qin Yuanging breathe a sigh of relief.

    “Scared?”

Li Chongge tightened his grip on Qin Yuanging’s waist, and the gaze in his eyes darkened as he stared at the corners of his eyes.

    “I’m afraid of scaring her.”

Qin Yuanging pushed Li Chongge away while panting, and glanced at him by the way, um… still a little different from his usual calm and composed appearance.

    “Let’s go quickly, it’s still a two-hour drive.”

In their current clingy state, they might not be able to leave the house by nine o’clock.
