Chapter 8: So Wild

Wan Qixiu led the disciples of the Vast Brilliance Immortal Sect and blocked Chang Le and the Rabbit Demon Clan who were trying to escape.

To protect the Rabbit Demon Clan, just as the two sides were about to clash, Chun Yu arrived in time and stood between them.

Chun Yu looked at Wan Qixiu and said, “Junior Brother Wan, we are both fellow disciples. Although the Rabbit Demon Clan is part of the Demon Realm, they have never harmed humans. Can you let them go?”

Wan Qixiu said calmly, “Even if I am willing to let them go, I fear the Sect Leader will not.”

As soon as Wan Qixiu finished speaking, a woman suddenly fell to the ground, spitting out a large mouthful of fresh blood.

    Wan Qixiu was shocked. “Wuyu?”

He immediately helped up Wan Wuyu, who had collapsed. Then he saw his aunt and mother approaching with the disciples of the Vast Brilliance Immortal Sect.

Wan Wuyu cried out to Chang Le and the others, “Hurry and go! I can’t stop them, hurry and leave!”

The Sect Leader looked sternly at her two disciples and the group of small demons behind them, saying, “Wuyu, for the sake of these two who betrayed the sect, you dared to strike your own aunt. This is truly rebellious. Don’t blame me for hurting you.”

The Sect Leader then addressed the Empress. “You won’t blame me for disciplining your daughter, will you?”

The Empress frowned slightly, feeling a pang of reluctance, but still said, “Wuyu showed disrespect to her elders. Elder Sister’s punishment is appropriate.”

Chun Yu looked at the Sect Leader’s injured hand; it was only a scratch drawing a line of blood. Wan Wuyu must have struck when the Sect Leader was unprepared. Even so, she could only inflict such a minor injury, and the wound would probably heal before it could even be bandaged.

How could they possibly be the Sect Leader’s opponents? Where could they run to?

Wasting a chance at transmigration, she feared she would die in this world again today.

Chun Yu looked at Chang Le and asked, “Should we fight to the death?”

Chang Le nodded. “Fight to the death!”

Wan Qianqian said, “One of you is the eldest disciple I cherished the most, and the other is the disciple I trusted the most. Since both of you insist on betraying the sect, I have no choice but to personally clean house.”

Wan Qianqian’s natal artifact was a golden spear. As she spread her hands, the golden spear materialized from her palm. She used magic to control the spear, aiming it at Chun Yu.

The immense magical pressure instantly immobilized Chun Yu, Chang Le, and the Rabbit Demon Clan.

Chun Yu thought, so this is the power of the Sect Leader of the First Immortal Sect. No, she probably hadn’t even used her full strength, and they already had no chance to fight back. Unfortunately, they were not Wan Wuyu; they had no blood relation to Wan Qianqian, and Wan Qianqian would absolutely not spare them.

Chun Yu prepared herself for death, closing her eyes resignedly.

    “I like you, Chang Le!”

Wan Qianqian’s artifact was thrown toward them, and Wan Wuyu’s words came out simultaneously.

Hearing something unbelievable, Chun Yu opened her eyes in shock.

But when she opened her eyes, she saw a woman in a gray tie-dye long dress with flowing black hair blocking the attack in front of her.

    Chun Yu gasped, “Li Yuan?”

Li Yuan grabbed the tip of the golden spear with her bare hands. The immense momentum of the flying spear nearly pushed her into Chun Yu’s arms.

Chun Yu’s eyes widened. She thought Li Yuan had been impaled by Wan Qianqian’s golden spear. She stood on her tiptoes and looked past Li Yuan’s shoulder, but Li Yuan was just gripping the spearhead tightly, completely unharmed by the artifact.

This, this, this… she has such a powerful golden finger!

Not only was Chun Yu shocked, but Wan Wuyu, Chang Le, Wan Qianqian, and Wan Luoluo were all astonished.

Wan Luoluo looked at Li Yuan’s face and was the first to react. “This child’s eyes look so much like Elder Sister’s…”

Wan Qianqian had also sensed the bloodline connection between herself and the girl.

Wan Luoluo said, “Could she be Elder Sister’s daughter who went missing years ago?”

Wan Qianqian retracted the golden spear artifact. Li Yuan’s hands instantly relaxed, and Chun Yu quickly supported her.

Chun Yu asked, “Are you alright, Li Yuan? Huh? How did you suddenly get a body?”

Li Yuan shook her head, her dark eyes fixed on Wan Qianqian’s expression. “I’m not sure either.”

“Oh, it’s quite lively here, isn’t it?”

A woman with long golden hair and a man with a golden buzz cut suddenly appeared, leading a large troop of demon soldiers. Beside them was a woman dressed in black exotic attire, with two goat horns growing on her head.

Chun Yu noticed that the black-clad woman’s appearance was five parts similar to Li Yuan’s.

Bai Xi whispered a reminder, “They are the Shi Clan people. That woman is Shi Ya, the princess of the Shi Clan, and the man is Shi E, the prince of the Shi Clan. That woman in black should be…”

Chun Yu frowned, looking at the black-clad woman. “She is the Demon Realm Princess, Li Luan.”

Shi Ya said, “Sect Leader Wan, do you take the Demon Realm for your own home? Just casually walking into our Demon Realm like this?”

Wan Qianqian replied, “What’s the difference? I will flatten the Demon Realm sooner or later anyway.”

Shi E said, “Sect Leader Li, what big talk. Your immortal techniques will be restricted in the Demon Realm. I’d like to see how formidable you can be.”

As he spoke, he leaped up and transformed into his demon form—a massive golden lion that charged toward them. A monstrous roar echoed through the clouds. Chun Yu and the other immortal disciples immediately covered their ears, but the tremendous sonic vibration still made her feel like her brain was being shaken into pulp. The other disciples were even more disoriented, staggering and bleeding from their orifices due to the roar.

Wan Qianqian seemed completely unaffected. The golden spear materialized from her palm again. She controlled the spear with magic and hurled it at the lion demon, striking him directly in the back and instantly forcing him back into human form.

The powerful shockwave immediately vanished. Chun Yu inwardly praised Wan Qianqian’s profound magical power. The way she threw that spear was far more impressive than her school’s physical education teacher.

“Royal Brother!” Shi Ya immediately ran forward and helped Shi E up.

Wan Qianqian glared at the demons. “You demons, born from the world’s foul energy, should not exist in this world. This world should only have humans, no demons or devils. I shall exterminate all of you today.”

The black-clad woman spoke up, “The old woman sure talks big. If the Demon Clan are all useless, do you think we in the Devil Clan are just good-for-nothings?”

Li Luan materialized a black demonic saber from her palm. The weapon’s immense power was obvious at a glance.

Wan Qianqian’s expression changed the moment she saw the saber. She gritted her teeth and said, “He actually passed the demonic saber to you. It seems he intends to pass the position of the next Demon Realm Lord to you.”

Li Luan curled her lips. “My Father only recognizes my Mother as his one wife, and only recognizes me as his one daughter. Naturally, the position of the next Demon Realm Lord can only be inherited by me.”

The two sides fought, exchanging countless blows. Chun Yu could tell that although the Demon Realm Princess’s magical power might not be extremely high, the demonic saber in her hand was truly a treasure. This time, even Wan Qianqian couldn’t gain much of an advantage.

“Elder Sister, I’ll help you!” Wan Luoluo immediately joined the battle, and the Demon Realm Princess quickly fell into a disadvantage.

Facing two grandmasters alone, yet she showed no fear. Chun Yu couldn’t help but look at her with admiration.

After all, she was originally a modern person, not someone from this world, so her sense of allegiance wasn’t that strong.

“Wan Qianqian, Wan Luoluo, you two shameless old women, how dare you bully my daughter while I was away.”

A woman in luxurious black exotic attire suddenly appeared in mid-air. With her appearance, the previously clear weather instantly changed, with winds and clouds shifting.

This woman… Chun Yu felt she looked somewhat familiar.

The moment Wan Qianqian saw that woman, her anger surged. “Bai Wang, you old harlot! You are older than both of us combined, yet you dare call us old!”

Bai Wang smiled. “Even if I am older than both of you, he still chose to marry me and abandoned you. It proves that I am more charming than you.”

“You shameless woman!” Wan Qianqian became even more furious. She abandoned Li Luan and turned to attack Bai Wang.

Chun Yu remembered who this woman was. She had seen her in the original host’s memories. It was her—she was Wan Qianqian and Wan Luoluo’s Master, Bai Wang, the first generation Sect Leader who founded the Vast Brilliance Immortal Sect. She was not only Wan Qianqian’s Master but also her love rival. Back then, the Demon Realm Lord traveled the human world. Wan Qianqian met and fell in love with the Demon Lord and became pregnant with his child. Knowing that as an immortal sect disciple she couldn’t be with the Demon Lord, she requested permission from her Master, Bai Wang, to leave the Vast Brilliance Immortal Sect, willing to abandon her identity as an immortal disciple and the heir of the Vast Eternity Kingdom just to be with the Demon Lord. But Bai Wang disagreed with her relationship with the Demon Lord and imprisoned her on Lixin Mountain. However, when Wan Qianqian escaped from Lixin Mountain, she discovered that Bai Wang was with her man. He had abandoned her and the child, married Bai Wang in the Demon Realm, and recognized Bai Wang as his only wife. After that, she became the current Sect Leader of the Vast Brilliance Immortal Sect, Wan Qianqian. She intensely hated the Demon Clan and vowed to eradicate all of them.

    Uh…

    Chun Yu felt…

    What a wild plot.

She looked at Li Yuan. How could this child write such a wild novel in elementary school? She was simply a prodigy.
