    Warm Resonance in the Dorm

During the intense and busy rhythm of the Interstellar Military Training, a rare, short break arrived. Exhausted students flocked towards the dormitories, eager for a brief respite in their small haven. Yi Shang and Jiang Wan’yuan supported each other, their steps a little heavy, but their eyes still showed determination.

“Whew, today’s physical training was really intense; I feel like my legs don’t belong to me anymore,” Jiang Wan’yuan said, rubbing her sore calves and panting.

Yi Shang frowned slightly, her eyes full of concern. She gently put her arm around Jiang Wan’yuan’s shoulders and said softly, “Let’s go back to the dorm to rest first; I’ll help you massage and relax. It’s all my fault; I should have taken better care of you during training.”

Jiang Wan’yuan looked up at Yi Shang and gave a bright smile. “It’s okay, Yi Shang, I’m fine, and everyone else is working hard too.”

The two entered the dormitory, where Zhang Yao was already inside. She was sitting on the edge of the bed, carefully wiping the military boots that had been soiled during training. Seeing Yi Shang and Jiang Wan’yuan come in, she immediately put down what she was doing and asked with concern, “How are you two? Today’s training was really exhausting.”

Jiang Wan’yuan collapsed on the bed, answering weakly, “I’m so tired, I feel like I won’t be able to get up tomorrow.”

Zhang Yao shook her head with a smile, got up, poured two glasses of water, and handed them over. “Drink some water first. But seriously, this military training, although tough, has taught me a lot, such as teamwork and perseverance.”

Yi Shang took the glass, took a sip, and said, “Indeed, these qualities are very important in our future research and life. Like the projects we did before, without the tacit cooperation between team members, it’s unimaginable how many difficulties we would encounter.”

At this moment, a familiar laugh came from outside the door, followed by Jichuan and Sun Yu walking in. Sun Yu was holding a box of interstellar energy supplements and said loudly, “Brothers and sisters, look what I brought! This is good stuff for quickly restoring physical strength.”

Jichuan smiled and patted Sun Yu’s shoulder. “You foodie, you only think about eating. But you’re just in time; everyone’s exhausted. Replenish some energy.”

Sun Yu opened the box and handed everyone an energy supplement. Jiang Wan’yuan sat up, took the supplement, and looked at it curiously. “Does this stuff really work? I haven’t tried it before.”

Sun Yu said confidently, “Of course, it works! I specially found it at the interstellar supply station; the effect is guaranteed. Drink it, and you’ll immediately regain your vitality.”

Everyone drank the energy supplement with some skepticism. After a while, they indeed felt a lot of their strength returning. Jiang Wan’yuan said in surprise, “Wow, it really works! Sun Yu, you’ve really done a great job.”

Sun Yu proudly raised his head. “Of course, you have to rely on me in critical moments. Speaking of which, this military training has really given me a new understanding of our team.”

Jichuan nodded in agreement. “That’s right. During the training, I discovered that everyone has their own shining points. Yi Shang is very good at tactical command and can always make accurate judgments quickly. Jiang Wan’yuan, although she seems carefree, is very serious and responsible when performing tasks and has a lot of innovative thinking. Zhang Yao is meticulous and can always notice some easily overlooked details, which is very helpful to the team.”

Zhang Yao smiled a little shyly. “It’s not as good as you say; I just did what I was supposed to do.”

Yi Shang continued, “Everyone has seen Jichuan’s ability in technical operations. He can quickly solve equipment problems every time. And Sun Yu, although he usually jokes around, can always use his humor to relieve everyone’s stress during training and keep us in a good mood.”

Sun Yu smiled and waved his hand. “I just saw that everyone was working too hard in training, so I was trying to make everyone happy. But seriously, through this military training, I feel that our team’s cohesion is stronger.”

Jiang Wan’yuan said with deep feeling, “Yeah, like last time in the simulated interstellar battlefield, we were surrounded by the enemy. The situation was so critical at the time, but no one retreated. We cooperated with each other, listened to Yi Shang’s command, and finally broke through successfully. At that moment, I really felt the power of the team.”

Yi Shang gently took Jiang Wan’yuan’s hand and looked at her tenderly. “That time, it was thanks to everyone’s trust and cooperation, especially you, Wan’yuan. You didn’t show any fear in the face of danger and bravely carried out the mission.”

Jichuan recalled the scene at the time and said, “That’s right. Jiang Wan’yuan diverted most of the enemy’s firepower, creating an opportunity for us to break through. She was really brave.”

Zhang Yao also nodded in praise. “Jiang Wan’yuan’s bravery gave us a lot of encouragement and filled us with fighting spirit.”

Jiang Wan’yuan blushed a little from everyone’s praise and said shyly, “Don’t just talk about me; everyone is important. We can’t do without anyone.”

Sun Yu said with a smile, “Yes, we are a united family. Speaking of which, this military training will be over in a few days. We have to celebrate properly after it’s over.”

Jichuan responded with a smile, “Definitely. We’ll go out for a big meal together and relax.”

Zhang Yao suggested, “Why don’t we cook a meal ourselves? Have a small party in the dormitory; that would be more atmospheric.”

Jiang Wan’yuan clapped her hands excitedly. “That’s a great idea! I haven’t cooked myself in a long time. It’ll definitely be fun.”

Yi Shang looked at everyone’s expectant eyes and said with a smile, “Okay, let’s all work together. We can definitely make a delicious meal. But before that, we still have to complete the remaining military training tasks seriously.”

Sun Yu patted his chest and said, “Don’t worry, Yi Shang. We can definitely complete the remaining military training tasks successfully. After this period of training, we’ve all become stronger.”

Jichuan also said firmly, “That’s right. We must complete the military training in the best condition and bring this experience to a perfect end.”

Everyone nodded, their eyes full of determination. In this warm dormitory, the students shared their feelings and interesting stories about the military training, and the friendship between them deepened imperceptibly. Although the military training was not over yet, and challenges were waiting for them in the future, at this moment, they felt the warmth and strength of the team. This force would support them to bravely face the upcoming military training and all kinds of difficulties in the future.

Yi Shang looked at her friends around her, and a warm current surged in her heart. She knew that it was so lucky to have these like-minded partners in this unknown interstellar world. And her tenderness towards Jiang Wan’yuan became even deeper during this military training, like the brightest star in the night sky, illuminating their way forward.

Jiang Wan’yuan felt Yi Shang’s gaze, turned her head to look at her, and the two smiled at each other. They knew that no matter what they encountered in the future, they would work together because they not only had a deep friendship but also a firm belief in pursuing their dreams together.

In the following time, everyone talked about some interesting anecdotes during the military training. Sun Yu vividly described the scene where he accidentally fell during training but unexpectedly made a funny movement, which made the surrounding students laugh. Everyone laughed so hard that they were almost in tears.

“My posture at that time was simply ready to participate in the Interstellar Comedy Competition,” Sun Yu said, imitating the movement at the time, making everyone laugh so hard that tears almost came out.

Jichuan said with a smile, “You are naturally a happy fruit. Every time we are tired from training, as long as we see your funny appearance, everyone’s fatigue can be reduced a lot.”

Zhang Yao also said with a smile, “Sun Yu’s humor has indeed added a lot of fun to the military training, making this difficult time more colorful.”

Yi Shang looked at everyone’s happy appearance and felt a lot of emotion in her heart. She knew that these ordinary and precious moments would become the most beautiful memories of their youth.

As time went by, the short break was coming to an end. Everyone packed their belongings and prepared to return to military training. Although their bodies were still tired, their eyes were full of fighting spirit and expectation.

“Okay, the break is over. Let us welcome the next military training with full spirit!” Yi Shang stood up and said firmly.

“Okay!” everyone responded in unison, their voices full of strength.

They walked out of the dormitory with firm steps and headed towards the training ground. In the afterglow of the setting sun, their figures appeared particularly tall and straight, and the friendship between them shone even more brilliantly in this afterglow, like the eternally shining light in the interstellar space, illuminating their way forward and accompanying them to write their own wonderful chapters.
