TVMCC Chapter 36
by VolareIs it sweet?
He wanted to pretend he didn’t see it, but Jiang Qiu didn’t give him the chance.
The moment Jiang Qiu saw the bulge on the bed move, he sat up straight.
“Young Master, are you awake?”
Not speaking for a long time made his voice sound very hoarse. He coughed lightly, got up to check on Yun Yi, and was slapped away by Yun Yi with a light, floating palm.
“Stay away from me.”
Jiang Qiu didn’t want to. Instead, he reached for Yun Yi’s hand. The hand of someone who had just woken up was warm, covered with a layer of soft flesh, making it irresistible to touch.
“Dinner’s ready downstairs, are you hungry?” Jiang Qiu asked.
Yun Yi pulled his hand back, turned over, and gave Jiang Qiu his back, silently refusing.
Jiang Qiu’s expression didn’t change much. He leaned on his body and moved closer to Yun Yi, coaxing him in a slow voice, “Young Master, I saw Aunt Zhang made your favorite sweet and sour pork. Do you want to eat it?”
Yun Yi rolled his eyes.
Liking sweets was the original owner’s preference. As an outsider, he wasn’t that interested in sweets. Hearing this, he didn’t move and pretended to be asleep.
After a while, he smelled a bit of cold pheromones. Yun Yi suddenly remembered what he had instructed Jiang Qiu to do.
He turned around quickly. Jiang Qiu was close to him, and their noses brushed against each other, causing Jiang Qiu’s heart to race. But the little young master didn’t show any abnormality, and narrowed his eyes to look at Jiang Qiu’s face.
“Did you go to Xing Zhouqi?”
The bedroom light wasn’t on, and Yun Yi couldn’t see the injuries on Jiang Qiu’s face clearly. He could only see those dark and bright eyes staring at him intently in the night.
Dog thing.
Every time Yun Yi saw Jiang Qiu’s eyes, he wanted to curse, “Dog thing.”
Jiang Qiu nodded. Afraid it was too dark for Yun Yi to see, he added, “I went.”
“Did you do it?”
“…No.”
Yun Yi snorted coldly, “Why not?”
Jiang Qiu: “…”
Jiang Qiu didn’t speak, just letting his pheromones drift in the air. He had been in a relaxed state since entering the bedroom. Even his pheromones were gentler than usual, like snow melting after being warmed by the winter sun, leaving a moist patch on the fingertips.
Yun Yi was annoyed, not just with Jiang Qiu, but also with his own body.
He clearly disliked Jiang Qiu, but his body betrayed its owner and wanted to get closer.
He looked away from Jiang Qiu and got out of bed.
The room was dark. Jiang Qiu turned on the bedroom light. The sudden brightness made Yun Yi reflexively close his eyes. In that instant, he felt something unknown but very soft brush against his cheek.
It happened quickly, like an illusion.
But Yun Yi knew it wasn’t. It was that dog thing.
He raised his foot to kick, but after seeing Jiang Qiu’s face, his eyes curved into a smile.
Those cat-like eyes seemed to have recovered a bit of their light, sparkling in the light. The ends of his eyes and eyelashes overlapped, curled and slender, adding a bit of allure.
“Who beat you? Haha!”
Jiang Qiu was quite helpless, his expression unchanged, his eyes not willing to leave Yun Yi’s face for even a moment.
The little young master always looked good when he smiled, with his red lips and white teeth, looking innocent.
“…I fell.”
“So amazing!” Yun Yi praised without hesitation, looking at the phone on the table, his fingers itching to touch it, “Can I take a picture and post it on Moments?”
Jiang Qiu: “…”
The Moments post didn’t happen. Yun Yi found that his address book only had Yun Chongshan, Jiang Qiu, and the counselor, besides that no one else. It was so clean that Yun Yi felt the original owner was even more lonely than him.
However, he did take a picture. Yun Yi pinched Jiang Qiu’s chin, showing off the injury generously to the camera. He was also in the picture, smiling with a row of white teeth, while Jiang Qiu next to him looked at him helplessly.
Yun Yi looked at the camera, Jiang Qiu looked at Yun Yi. The time was frozen in that second by the camera.
Both of them had a childishness on their faces, and equally outstanding good looks.
Later, when the little young master fell asleep, Jiang Qiu sent the photo to his own phone and set it as the wallpaper that could only be seen after unlocking the screen.
It was Yun Yi smiling that Jiang Qiu could see as soon as he opened his phone.
Aunt Zhang was no longer downstairs. The food in the kitchen had cooled down. Jiang Qiu looked at Yun Yi standing next to him, “Young Master, what do you want to eat?”
“Can you cook?”
“A little.”
Yun Yi crossed his arms, leaning lazily against the door, and pointed his chin at the pineapple on the fruit rack, “Eat this.”
“We should eat dinner, not fruit,” Jiang Qiu said.
Yun Yi frowned, turned around and left.
Jiang Qiu strode after him, grabbing Yun Yi’s wrist, “Okay, we’ll eat pineapple.”
There was a pineapple knife in the kitchen. Jiang Qiu held the pineapple in one hand and the fruit knife in the other, peeling it skillfully. Yun Yi watched with interest from the side, and suddenly asked in a light tone, “How was the driving practice today?”
Yun Yi asked as if just making casual conversation, but Jiang Qiu paused, and then replied in a very normal tone, without even lifting his head, “Very good.”
Yun Yi let out a soft laugh from his throat, so soft that it sounded like mockery.
“That’s good.”
Yun Yi picked up a piece of peeled pineapple skin, exerted force with his fingertips, and the juice overflowed, staining his fingertips. Yun Yi brought it to Jiang Qiu’s lips, “Try it, is it sour?”
The fair and tender fingers were covered with a layer of water, moist and bright.
Without the slightest hesitation, Jiang Qiu looked up at Yun Yi, opened his mouth and bit the fingertip in front of him, grinding his teeth and saying vaguely, “Young Master is sweet.”
Yun Yi felt a trace of violation. He reflexively looked at the dog thing, and after not seeing anything unusual, he didn’t get angry, but said in a cold voice, “Let go!”
Then he pulled his hand back and looked at the bite mark above his nails, and got angry again.
He grabbed Jiang Qiu’s arm and bit it. After letting go of his teeth and looking at the circle of bite marks, he was satisfied again, like a smug cat, raising his head to look at Jiang Qiu.
It seemed like he was waiting for praise, or waiting for his owner to stroke his fur.
Jiang Qiu satisfied Yun Yi, looked at his bitten arm, and said, “It hurts.”
Yun Yi snorted, turned and left the kitchen, kicked off the slippers that Jiang Qiu had given him, grabbed a blanket, and nestled on the sofa, randomly turning on the TV, picking news to watch like an old man.
After Yun Yi left, the corners of Jiang Qiu’s mouth couldn’t help but rise. He cut the pineapple into small pieces and soaked them in salt water. After washing his hands, he unconsciously raised his hand and touched the bite mark that Yun Yi had just left.
His silly smile looked a bit strange on his bruised and battered face.
But Yun Yi didn’t see it, and Jiang Qiu didn’t realize it either.
The TV volume was turned down very low. Although Yun Yi was watching TV, he was yawning one after another, and the corners of his eyes were wet with involuntary tears. He had clearly woken up, but he was sleepy again. Even the hair on his forehead followed its owner, limp and soft.
Jiang Qiu held a glass bowl and stood in front of Yun Yi, sticking a piece with a fork, “Want to try it?”
Yun Yi didn’t take it, leaned forward and bit the pineapple, chewing it.
As Jiang Qiu said before, it was very sweet.
“Is it sweet? Want more?”
