Chapter 24: So What If It Blows Up?
As Jiang Qiu staggered to support himself, the bamboo door was slowly pulled open.
A pair of slender white legs appeared in his line of sight.
Jiang Qiu looked up, seeing the blood-stained pants, and the top that the young master had personally chosen for their outing. Looking further up, he met Yun Yi’s face, which was both excited and crazed.
Yun Yi tilted his head and smiled, a splash of blood on his face giving him a demonic air. “Jiang Qiu, you’re faster than I thought.”
Hearing this, Jiang Qiu instantly lost strength, his tall body collapsing to the ground. He blinked, the eyelashes at the corners of his eyes stained with whose blood he didn’t know, mixed with tears sliding down, looking as if his eyes were bleeding.
Yun Yi put his hands in his pockets, glancing at the electric baton and narrow dagger discarded behind him. Then, he walked to Jiang Qiu, half-squatting, and poked Jiang Qiu’s already swollen face with his fingertip. “Jiang Qiu, you see, you can’t protect me.”
Jiang Qiu gasped, swallowing the metallic taste of blood, and reached out to touch Yun Yi, but he didn’t have enough strength, his arm wasn’t long enough, and in the end, he only managed to grab the hem of Yun Yi’s pants. “I’m sorry…”
“It’s okay,” Yun Yi said.
After a while, Jiang Qiu struggled to get up, one arm hanging limply at an unnatural angle. “Young Master, let’s leave.”
As Yun Yi left, he glanced at Wen Jiu, who was slumped on the ground, seemingly scared out of his mind, and said with a grin, “Too bad, the plan didn’t succeed. Better luck next time.”
Wen Jiu’s teeth were chattering, his gaze fearful and resentful. “Yun Yi…you’ll die sooner or later…”
Yun Yi, instead of getting angry, laughed. “Then I’ll take that as a compliment.”
But these words seemed to touch Jiang Qiu’s reverse scale. His eyes turned cold, and all his strength gathered in his leg. He raised his leg and kicked Wen Jiu, who was cowering against the wall.
“Ah—”
The kick wasn’t restrained, and Wen Jiu clutched his chest and let out a scream, his eyes rolling back as he passed out.
Yun Yi watched coldly, his face expressionless.
He didn’t have any good feelings towards these people. In his previous life, they were all executioners who had pushed the original owner to his death.
It would be best if they could die.
As the two of them walked out of the bamboo house, Yun Yi squatted down and picked up an iron rod, taking out something from his treasure chest-like pocket and throwing it into the wooden house.
He glanced at the alphas lying there, not knowing if they were dead or alive.
He said to Wen Jiu, who was lying on the ground unconscious, “Your fate is in your hands. Enjoy it.”
After speaking, he closed the door, placing the iron rod across the handles of the two doors.
Unless the door broke, unless the handles broke, Wen Jiu shouldn’t even think about getting out.
Jiang Qiu didn’t say anything beside him, one hand covering his chest, the other hanging limply, following behind Yun Yi as usual.
Yun Yi was hopeless with directions. After wandering around for half an hour and not finding the exit, he finally got angry. He turned around and glared at Jiang Qiu. “We’re lost!”
“We’re not,” Jiang Qiu said, turning and walking towards another fork in the road. “Young Master, follow me.”
Yun Yi was furious.
But the person in front of him couldn’t even walk steadily. If he kicked him, wouldn’t he knock him over?
And if he fell, wouldn’t he have to carry him out?
Outside the mountain villa, there was a driver that Jiang Qiu had arranged in advance. Seeing them, the driver took a step back in fright. “You…I can’t take you…”
Yun Yi pouted, supporting Jiang Qiu’s arm. “Uncle, my brother fell from the wooden house. If you don’t take us, he’ll die.”
Yun Yi was too well-behaved, especially with his pitiful, about-to-cry appearance. The beta driver instantly softened. “Then, then you have to pay extra.”
Yun Yi smiled through his tears. “Okay.”
The two didn’t go home, going directly to the nearest hospital.
After Jiang Qiu entered the operating room, Yun Yi went out and casually bought a set of clothes, going to the hotel across the street to wash himself clean before returning to the hospital.
When he returned, Jiang Qiu was sitting outside the operating room, his head drooping like a lost, large dog.
A wounded one at that.
Hearing the approaching footsteps, Jiang Qiu looked up. Seeing Yun Yi, his empty eyes were instantly lit up again.
“Young Master.”
Yun Yi’s gaze fell on Jiang Qiu’s arm.
It was in a cast, a gauze sling hanging around his neck, his face still bruised and swollen. One side of his face was slightly swollen, and the light above his head cast a shadow over his dark eyelashes.
His dark eyes were filled with Yun Yi’s reflection.
He looked so pitiful.
Yun Yi thought this, reaching out his palm and placing it on Jiang Qiu’s head, as if stroking and comforting a wounded, large pet.
When he touched a bump, a flash of surprise crossed his eyes.
Were alphas this unique even on the top of their heads?
Curious, he pressed down hard, earning a pained “hiss.”
Yun Yi understood.
He retracted his hand. “Your injury is very serious.”
Jiang Qiu nodded. “It’s okay.”
Yun Yi laughed softly. “So strong.”
Jiang Qiu had already broken free from his rage, and now he was still filled with lingering fear.
If Yun Yi hadn’t saved himself.
If the other side had had more people.
Jiang Qiu didn’t dare to speculate.
Just thinking about the young master being taken advantage of by others made him want to kill.
Jiang Qiu reached out with his good arm, placing it around Yun Yi’s waist. “Young Master, are you injured?”
“No.”
Feeling the strength, Yun Yi obediently took a step forward. The alpha was only slightly stunned before burying his face in front of Yun Yi’s chest.
The familiar omega pheromones, along with a strange shower gel scent, filled Jiang Qiu’s nose.
Unfamiliar, but pleasant.
Everything about the young master was pleasant.
Jiang Qiu closed his eyes, feeling Yun Yi’s body temperature and scent. Only then did his turbulent heartbeat finally return to normal.
Neither of them mentioned the matter at the mountain villa again.
In the afternoon, Jiang Qiu was discharged from the hospital against the doctor’s orders.
After a day of trouble, Yun Yi went to sleep early, the fatigue under his eyes clear to see, his breathing heavy.
The room was dark. Jiang Qiu sat on the carpet beside the bed, quietly watching Yun Yi, whose outline he could only barely make out.
Hearing the slow, steady breathing, Jiang Qiu took a slender white hand out from under the blanket. It was so white in the darkness that it seemed to glow.
He held it, pressing it against his cheek.
He stayed in this position until midnight, even though the injuries on his body were aching, even though the young master wouldn’t answer his feelings.
Just like Yun Yi had said before.
What qualifications did he have? He was just a servant.
As the clock turned to the early hours of the morning, Jiang Qiu returned Yun Yi’s hand under the blanket, leaving the room with light steps.
He Yuetang hadn’t slept yet. Seeing the call, a hint of irritation rose in his brow.
Annoyed, he threw his phone on the bed. When the call was about to automatically hang up, he finally answered.
In the deep night, their voices were very clear.
Jiang Qiu said, “I’ve thought it over. I’ll go see President Qin.”
He Yuetang’s breath hitched, his previous annoyance gone, his voice tinged with joy. “That’s great. When do you want to go? I’ll arrange it.”
Jiang Qiu lowered his head, looking at his arm in a cast. “In a few days, maybe.”
“Okay, you better not stand me up this time, or else…”
“I won’t.”
Jiang Qiu wanted the Qin family. The young master also needed the protection of the Qin family.
He was even more afraid that his pace couldn’t keep up with Yun Yi’s fading speed.

The explosive topic in the Alliance reached Yun Yi’s ears on the third day.
At that time, he was sitting on the sofa on the first floor, eating a plate of grapes, his eyes following the television.
During a commercial break, Yun Yi picked up the remote and casually changed the channel. The first scene that appeared was Feng Qingyu being carried on a stretcher, the back of his neck blurred out, but even so, it was clear that the injury there was very serious.
A bloody mess.
Judging by the looks of it, the glands were completely destroyed.
Yun Yi lightly hooked his lips.
Why was he lying face down?
It would be more fun if he were turned over.
Behind him, Jiang Qiu’s eyes didn’t show a trace of ripple, a hint of inquiry rising in his heart towards Yun Yi.
When had Yun Yi prepared these things?
And how had he managed to destroy an A-level alpha’s glands with his small body?
During the baths these past few days, he had checked Yun Yi’s body. Besides a bruise on his arm where he had been grabbed, the rest of him was clean.
Jiang Qiu licked his canine teeth, recalling the touch he had carefully kissed when he first discovered it.
The young master was so soft.
Just as it was getting dark, a screech of brakes came from outside the villa. A hurried footstep ran towards the living room. Yun Cheng ignored the greetings of any of the servants, rushing upstairs in a hurry.
Yun Yi was nestled on the sofa, enjoying Jiang Qiu giving him a leg massage.
“Bang!”
The door was pushed open forcefully, Yun Cheng’s angry face appearing.
Yun Yi opened his eyes, unhurriedly retracting his leg, his gaze falling on Yun Cheng’s face.
Yun Cheng took two steps at a time, about to rush to Yun Yi, but was stopped by Jiang Qiu, who even stood in front of Yun Cheng. “Stay away. You’ll dirty the young master’s carpet.”
“Get out of the way!” Yun Cheng was going crazy at this moment. Her eyes were bloodshot, as if she had suffered a great grievance here with Yun Yi.
“Yun Yi, did you do what happened to Wen Jiu? How could you be so vicious? He’s still a child!”
Yun Yi pretended not to understand, letting out an “Oh?” sound. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“How could you not know! He! He was…” Yun Cheng’s lips were trembling, as if the words about to come out were unbearable to say. “Don’t think that just because you don’t admit it, others can’t do anything to you. I advise you to go to the Wen family and apologize properly, otherwise, if this matter blows up…”
“So what if it blows up?” Yun Yi sneered. “Are you afraid that your affair with Wen Heng will be exposed?”
After saying this, Yun Yi pointed a finger to his lip. “But it doesn’t matter if it’s exposed. ‘Older sister’ sounds so nice. If I were an alpha, I would like it too.”
Yun Cheng’s eyes widened instantly, her face suddenly turning pale. “You, what nonsense are you talking about!”
“Whether it’s nonsense or not, you know it yourself.” Yun Yi placed his feet on the ground, got up, and walked to Yun Cheng like a combative cat. Even though he wasn’t tall, he had plenty of aura.
“Older sister, don’t let me catch you again, or else I don’t know who I’ll send the video of you kneeling in front of Wen Heng and begging to.”
“After all, older sister knows, I’m vicious.”
Yun Cheng’s whole body seemed to have been drained of strength. She looked at Yun Yi’s glass eyes, staggering back a few steps until she leaned against the doorframe.
“You, how do you know about me and Wen Heng…”
Yun Yi smiled wickedly. “I guessed.”
After speaking, he shook his phone. “But now I have evidence.”
