Chapter 15: Bumming a Drink
After that commotion, both Yun Cheng and Zhang Xiaonuo moved out of the Yun family home, taking most of the servants with them, leaving behind only Yun Yi and Yun Chongshan, who was rarely home.
Yun Yi was happy and carefree, and even his appetite improved.
Although there were fewer servants, the kitchen staff still worked diligently, and the dishes were as abundant as ever. However, Yun Yi was the only one at the dining table, which made it seem a bit lonely.
The young master had eaten his fill, put down his chopsticks, and headed upstairs.
There was still a lot of food left on the table, with only half of the ribs eaten.
Jiang Qiu saw Yun Yi coming downstairs with his phone in hand before he even went up.
He was also wearing a hat.
“Young Master, where are you going?”
Yun Yi ignored him and walked straight outside.
Jiang Qiu followed, never leaving his side.
When they reached the entrance, Yun Yi, sitting in the back seat, said to Jiang Qiu, who was about to get into the car, “I don’t want you to follow.”
Jiang Qiu paused, quickly getting into the car before the young master closed the door.
“Young Master, it’s nighttime.”
“I know, now get out.”
“…I can’t get out. Young Master, you are an omega. It’s not safe to go out alone at night.”
Yun Yi scoffed lightly, “Is it safe with you?”
Jiang Qiu: “…”
Yun Yi didn’t kick him out after all. He understood the temperament of this clingy dog by his side. He was stubbornly persistent, and if he didn’t let Jiang Qiu follow him tonight, he would definitely see him at some time, somewhere.
Thinking of this, Yun Yi was too lazy to pay attention to Jiang Qiu anymore.
Jiang Qiu didn’t understand Yun Yi’s internal thoughts, only feeling that the current young master was much easier to talk to than before.
It’s just that he had a bit more of a wicked sense of humor in some ways, but it was far from malicious.
The driver dropped them off in front of a supermarket, opening the car door and asking, “Young Master, do you need me to come in with you to carry things?”
“No need.”
Yun Yi looked at the unfamiliar high-rise buildings in front of him, a trace of nostalgia flashing in his eyes.
Supermarket.
For him, it was a word from many years ago.
He stepped forward, Jiang Qiu silently following behind.
Just as he was about to enter the supermarket, Yun Yi turned on his phone, found the previously searched navigation, and followed the route step by step.
Jiang Qiu glanced at the direction, pursing his lips.
The street ahead was a famous bar street, a mixed bag of people, with a strong smell of alcohol and smoke, and many betas standing around soliciting customers.
According to the young master’s previous tone, he disliked this place very much.
However, Yun Yi was in front of him, walking forward step by step, with a clear destination.
It was still early, and there weren’t many people on the bar street yet, but even so, Yun Yi’s arrival attracted the attention of most people.
For no other reason than that Yun Yi’s clothes were not like those of someone who frequented nightclubs.
A white t-shirt, light-colored jeans, and a pair of white sneakers, his whole body exuded innocence, which was out of tune with this street.
Although he was wearing a hat, one could tell how good-looking this omega was from his exposed nose and lips.
As Yun Yi passed a store, a hooligan whistle came from the side.
Yun Yi paused slightly, turning his head to glare at the man with red hair leaning against the door, “What do you mean?”
His voice was unique to teenagers, clear and crisp, and even when he was angry, it sounded like a reproach.
A flash of amazement flashed in the red-haired man’s eyes, and his originally lazy body straightened instantly. His eyes were as surprised as if he had seen a national treasure, “Damn, this little omega…”
He took two steps towards Yun Yi, felt the pressure of an alpha, and seemed to notice the alpha standing behind Yun Yi. His face changed, “Who, who are you?”
Jiang Qiu narrowed his phoenix eyes slightly: “Get out!”
“Jiang Qiu, hit him.” Yun Yi said coldly.
Red Hair: “?”
Jiang Qiu: “…”
The young master’s order was the most important. He stepped forward, raised his fist, and was about to smash it on Red Hair when a man with bleached white hair and a black vest walked out of the store, forcibly catching Jiang Qiu’s fist.
The pheromones of two S-rank alphas collided with each other, and the faces of Red Hair and the surrounding low-level alphas instantly turned pale. “Ugh… Boss…”
Xing Zhouqi glanced at Red Hair, took back his pheromones first, hooked his lips, and said to Jiang Qiu, “Little brother, it’s not good to hit my people in my territory, right?”
Jiang Qiu didn’t withdraw his fist, determined to hit Red Hair. His sharp eyes looked past Xing Zhouqi at Red Hair, “Sorry, the young master ordered me to hit you.”
As soon as he finished speaking, his figure moved, and his fist hit Red Hair’s face before the surrounding people could react.
“Ouch, damn it!” Red Hair fell to the ground, grinning and wailing in pain.
Xing Zhouqi stared at Jiang Qiu and sneered, “Little brother, you’re quite fast, but if you hit my people, don’t think you can walk out of here standing up. Where would I put my face?”
“Come on, brothers!”
Jiang Qiu retreated to Yun Yi’s side, protecting him behind him. The oppressive pheromones around him burst out instantly. He turned his head and said, “Young Master, don’t be afraid, leave this to me.”
Yun Yi didn’t panic at all. He raised his chin slightly, his eyes falling on Xing Zhouqi. He frowned, “So ugly.”
Xing Zhouqi’s eyes turned cold, and he stared at Yun Yi with leopard-like eyes, “Are you talking about me?”
Yun Yi tilted his head slightly, his glass-like eyes narrowed: “I’m talking about you, Xing Zhouqi.”
As soon as the three words came out, Xing Zhouqi’s face changed instantly. He raised his hand to stop the red, yellow, and green-haired men who were about to rush out, “Go down first.”
“Boss!”
“Seventh Brother…”
“Go down!”
After everyone had left, Xing Zhouqi walked down the steps and slowly came to Yun Yi, and after a long while, he smiled, “Little beauty, we don’t seem to know each other, right?”
Yun Yi’s face didn’t change, “Is that so?”
After a few minutes of stalemate, the momentum of the S-rank alpha weakened instantly. He looked at Yun Yi’s face, trying to find a familiar trace on that face, and finally he said, “You are from the Yi family.”
Yun Yi snorted coldly: “Since you know, how dare you attack me?”
“Young Master Yi, I wonder what you want me, Xing, to do today. My vow from back then is still valid, you can do whatever you want…”
“Bum a drink.”
Xing Zhouqi: “…”
He was ready to give up his life at any time.
“If that’s the case.” Xing Zhouqi stepped aside, “Then Young Master Yi, please.”
Yun Yi walked into the bar.
The inside was a different world from the outside, noisy, dark and bright, and all the voices of people talking were inaudible, leaving only the flickering faces.
Yun Yi’s eyes widened, undisguised curiosity.
Jiang Qiu intentionally protected Yun Yi, creating a space between his arm and chest, enough to prevent others from touching Yun Yi.
“Are they…dancing?” Yun Yi said, as if unconsciously asking a question casually, without seeking an answer.
The bar was too noisy, Xing Zhouqi didn’t hear it, but Jiang Qiu behind him heard it.
He leaned forward slightly to Yun Yi’s ear, “Yes, does the young master like this dance?”
The hot breath hit Yun Yi’s neck without any obstruction, and that piece of skin instantly broke out in goosebumps. Yun Yi took back his gaze, raised his hand reflexively to cover it, and turned back to glare at Jiang Qiu angrily: “Jiang Qiu, stay away from me!”
His height was low, and he had to look up at Jiang Qiu. Even his angry look was awkward, like a child throwing a tantrum.
Jiang Qiu lowered his head and looked at the young master with round eyes, his Adam’s apple sliding. But he didn’t take a step back. He said, “Sorry, I can’t.”
Yun Yi gritted his teeth in anger and kicked.
Xing Zhouqi in front of him knew nothing, just leading the way.
The three finally arrived on the second floor, where the sound gradually weakened due to the floor’s partition.
Xing Zhouqi stopped at the end of the room, “Young Master Yi, please.”
There were two long sofas in the private room, and a table with a black, shimmering light under the lights. The air conditioning in the private room was turned on high. Yun Yi didn’t like the cold, and his body trembled suddenly when he was hit by the cold air.
“Please adjust the air conditioning to twenty-eight degrees.” Jiang Qiu said.
Xing Zhouqi was speechless, “Is there any difference between turning it on and off at twenty-eight degrees?”
Jiang Qiu stood in front of Yun Yi, blocking the door, his eyes staring straight at Xing Zhouqi: “Please adjust the temperature.”
“Okay, okay, I’ll adjust it.” He muttered, “An alpha who is so afraid of the cold, does he have kidney deficiency?”
Jiang Qiu didn’t change his face, but secretly glanced at the young master.
Yun Yi gradually adapted, sat on the sofa with one leg crossed, and smiled with narrowed eyes, looking like an innocent young man, “I want pink wine.”
Xing Zhouqi understood.
This Young Master Yi really came to bum a drink.
But pink wine is either a bottle of dizziness or a fruit wine.
Looking at Yun Yi’s clear eyes, he clicked on his phone and sent a voice message to someone, “Fruit Planet Cider.”
Soon the waiter brought it up.
Yun Yi’s eyes lit up when he saw the pink liquid in the glass.
He had drunk it at Wen Heng’s house and liked it very much.
Xing Zhouqi couldn’t help but curl his lips when he saw Yun Yi’s appearance.
He thought he was dealing with a difficult character, but he turned out to be a little boy who could be coaxed with a glass of wine.
Halfway through, Jiang Qiu grabbed Yun Yi’s wrist, his tone normal, “Young Master, you can’t drink.”
