The Flower Of The High Mountain Is Pregnant With The Son Of The Sand Sculpture Ceo Chapter 15
byChapter 15 Young Master Pei
Zhao Jian’s voice wasn’t loud, but it drilled into everyone’s ears.
The smile that had been blooming on Dong Shufan’s face froze, leaving him too embarrassed to meet anyone’s eyes.
In the past, Lu Shangyan probably wouldn’t have understood such terms, but ever since he had browsed the search bar a few times to figure out his own orientation and position, a lot of messy new knowledge had flooded his mind.
He was no longer the slow-witted Lu Shangyan from before, and he immediately noticed Dong Shufan’s discomfort. “Xiao Fu, did you mistake him for someone else?”
Dong Shufan cleared his throat and forced a smile at Zhao Jian. “I don’t usually come here. This should be our first time meeting, right?”
His words clearly implied that Zhao Jian had the wrong person. Zhao Jian saw Dong Shufan’s shoulder pressed against Lu Shangyan’s, a posture of intimacy, and realized that Dong Shufan must see Lu Shangyan as his next target.
Zhao Jian didn’t follow his lead and half-jokingly exposed him. “I don’t recognize faces, but I recognize ‘Little Chili’! Take off your pants and let me see how little it is.”
Dong Shufan gasped, watching Zhao Jian approach him. He retreated several steps, moving away from Lu Shangyan.
Seeing this, Zhao Jian immediately stepped into the space, preventing this well-dressed scumbag from contaminating Lu Shangyan with his foul stench.
As if nothing had happened, he continued his half-serious, half-joking banter. “Show me, show me! We’re all men, what are you shy about?”
“If you don’t want to take off your pants on the first floor, how about we go up to the second floor? There are private lounges there. You can take them off and show me.”
Hearing this, Dong Shufan’s muscles tensed, terrified that his pants might accidentally be yanked down.
Lu Shangyan watched him causing a ruckus and couldn’t help but laugh. “Alright, Xiao Fu, you can’t bully guests like this. Shi Yu will scold you again if she finds out.”
Zhao Jian shrugged indifferently. “You know I like it when she’s fierce with me.”
His eyes curved into crescents, looking somewhat expectant.
Lu Shangyan couldn’t do anything about him, so he stepped past him to address Dong Shufan. “Don’t take it to heart. He’s not a bad person, he just likes to say strange things.”
Dong Shufan maintained eye contact with Zhao Jian from two meters away, his smile growing more awkward. “It’s fine.”
Zhao Jian, meanwhile, etched Dong Shufan’s face into his memory, planning to go back and tattle on this stinky big-tailed wolf!
Just as Lu Shangyan was about to change the subject, a harsh screech of brakes sounded outside.
Looking out through the large floor-to-ceiling window, Pei Yumin was straddling a yellow shared bicycle, his long legs propped on the ground. He was desperately tugging off the helmet that came with the bike. After finally ripping it off and tossing it into the basket, he noticed through the glass that his hair was flattened. He irritably clawed at it a few times, then rushed into the shop with a dark expression.
His right eyelid had been twitching all morning, and sure enough, it wasn’t for nothing!
He had spotted a person who shouldn’t be near Lu Shangyan from across the street!
A few seconds after he entered, Tang Suichen stepped out of a car by the roadside and sauntered in.
He really wasn’t stalking them; this time he genuinely happened to be passing by. He just happened to see the man whom Pei Yumin regarded as a thorn in his side, and seeing them standing so close, he couldn’t help but take a picture and send it to Pei Yumin.
Pei Yumin had originally wanted to drive up and make a dashing entrance, but traffic was terrible at this hour. His company was only three streets away from where Lu Shangyan worked, so cycling was actually faster than driving.
He stood beside Lu Shangyan, eyes wide. Lu Shangyan was confused and placed the back of his hand on Pei Yumin’s forehead. “Do you have a fever? Did you secretly go see the vet again?”
Pei Yumin took the opportunity to raise his hand and clasp Lu Shangyan’s hand in his palm. “I’m fine. You don’t need to worry.”
Dong Shufan had never shared such an intimate posture with Lu Shangyan.
Thinking about this, he felt much more relaxed.
Tang Suichen, who was experienced in the dating scene, recognized Zhao Jian, the playful one. The two hit it off and whispered to each other nearby. “If I remember correctly, this Mr. Dong is a player, right?”
Zhao Jian nodded. “He is.”
Tang Suichen continued, “I heard rumors that he’s never lost a match. Even after being dumped, many people remain obsessed with him. Competing with someone like that is a high-risk gamble.”
Zhao Jian rubbed his chin. “I’ve heard that too.”
Tang Suichen leaned his shoulder against him. “Apparently, a few days ago, someone he broke up with even threatened suicide to get him back. What happened? Didn’t he reconcile? So Mr. Dong is free to look for a new target? Or is Mr. Dong trying to juggle two relationships?”
This time, not only Zhao Jian but even Pei Yumin nodded righteously, making a meaningful sound and giving Tang Suichen an appreciative look.
Dong Shufan was eloquent. His gaze shifted between Tang Suichen and Lu Shangyan, finally settling on the easiest target, Zhao Jian. “You’ve misunderstood. He and I broke up amicably. What you’re saying might be baseless rumors spread by people who don’t know the truth afterward.” Then, he looked at Lu Shangyan with sincere eyes. “You know how it is, a single sentence can be completely distorted by the time it reaches someone else’s ears.”
He was implying that since he didn’t know these three people, what they were saying was likely false.
Lu Shangyan took his words to heart, looking like he deeply understood. “I get it.”
Too many similar things had happened to him. He sighed and patted Dong Shufan’s shoulder. “It seems we really are quite similar in some ways.”
Dong Shufan’s smile was no longer strained. He just said meaningfully, “I never thought the rumors would get so ridiculous.”
Pei Yumin looked speechless, standing there dumbfounded, unable to utter a single word for a long time.
Lu Shangyan looked at him. “You shouldn’t always be so hostile toward others.”
Pei Yumin was so angry he laughed, his teeth itching—not because of Lu Shangyan, but because of Dong Shufan’s smug, triumphant look!
Tang Suichen scoffed, mimicking Lu Shangyan by patting his shoulder and saying meaningfully, “The road ahead is long, Young Master Pei.”
Pei Yumin glared back. Just as he was about to forcibly throw out the annoying Dong Shufan, an even more irritating voice sounded behind him.
“So lively.”
It was Chen Shuo, who had been missing for almost half a month. The girl beside him had already been replaced, no longer Qi Qi.
With such a shameless figure present, even Dong Shufan couldn’t help but straighten his back.
When Chen Shuo saw Lu Shangyan, he looked like a cat seeing a mouse, wanting to bite and tear him apart. “When did you find so many men? Are they all here to boost your sales? You really are shameless for money.”
Zhao Jian took a big sip of his milk tea. “Stop spewing nonsense! If you keep this up, I’ll call security to throw you out.”
Chen Shuo’s appearance united everyone on the same front. Chen Shuo was used to being shameless and didn’t feel the discomfort of being under scrutiny. He just felt that this trip was full of challenges.
He patted the girl next to him on the butt. “Xiao Xi’er, didn’t you want to buy clothes? Go find him to pick out a few pieces for you. Consider it me taking pity on him, letting him get some extra sales today.”
Lu Shangyan shot back, “I only handle the register. It has nothing to do with me even if you buy the entire store.”
Meaning, Chen Shuo couldn’t disgust him.
Chen Shuo pursed his lips, thought for half a minute, and then spat out another line. “Did you sleep your way into this job?”
Lu Shangyan said, “Xia Li introduced me.”
Chen Shuo was even angrier. He wasn’t lacking women now, and he no longer felt strongly about Xia Li, but Xia Li had never paid him any attention. This was like a knot in his heart; even if he didn’t like her, he wanted to possess her. Otherwise, he had boasted so much, only to fail to get her—how embarrassing would that be?
So Lu Shangyan’s words were practically grinding his face into the dirt, making him lose serious face in front of so many enemies!
He clenched his fist and casually kicked over a clothes rack. “My bad, my foot slipped.”
The girl called Xiao Xi’er covered her mouth, startled, and took a step back, muttering softly, “He must be crazy.”
She looked troubled, inching toward the door. If word got out that she was dating such an idiot, she would be the one who felt embarrassed!
Chen Shuo walked forward a few steps and accidentally knocked something else over. “Oops, my hand slipped.”
He raised an eyebrow in provocation and lifted his foot again, but this time Pei Yumin kicked him back.
Chen Shuo felt a sharp pain in his calf, hopping several times while bent over. Finally, he raised his head triumphantly. “Why are you protecting Lu Shangyan so much? Is his ass really that good? All of you coming together, aren’t you afraid of catching something?”
The moment the words left his mouth, Pei Yumin grabbed his neck. Just like when Lu Shangyan had choked him, Chen Shuo quickly turned red in the face from lack of air, but he still fearlessly continued, “As expected of Lu Shangyan’s longest-running sugar daddy, protecting him like this.”
Tang Suichen stepped forward. “Xiao Fu, go tally the damages. Young Master Chen ruined so many clothes; he has to pay for them.”
Chen Shuo struggled to yell, “I’m not buying anything!”
Tang Suichen reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet, tossing it to Zhao Jian. Instantly, Chen Shuo’s face turned even redder. “Give me back my wallet!”
Zhao Jian swiped all his cards and found that they were all frozen! No wonder he was blushing—he was ashamed!
Xiao Xi’er, who was already standing by the door ready to flee, heard this and immediately ran back, kicking his crotch several times with her stiletto heel. “Before, you couldn’t wait to drag people into hotels whenever you got the chance. Now you’re just driving around. I thought you had changed, but you’re just broke! Making me hang out with you in the heat, aren’t you pathetic!”
In the past, she and her sisters could at least make some money, but now? She hadn’t gained anything, only lost face and used up a lot of sunscreen!
The more she thought about it, the angrier she got, kicking him harder. Amidst Chen Shuo’s pig-like squeals, Lu Shangyan couldn’t watch anymore and stepped forward to break up the fight, only to uncontrollably sneak in two kicks himself.
After Xiao Xi’er ran away, Pei Yumin said, “Call Chen Hongfei and tell him to bring money to bail out his son!”
