Chapter One Werewolf Male Supporting Character

Inside the room, the antique bookshelf shook a few times. The Little Black Cat, lying under the coffee table, let out two wronged meows, also unable to bear the anger of the millennia-old Ghost King.

The shaking stopped after a while. The Little Black Cat blinked its emerald green eyes, meowed, crawled out from under the coffee table, and jumped onto the coffee table, looking very innocently at the letter on the table.

    “Alright, you can go.”

As soon as the gentle voice fell, the Little Black Cat shot out like an arrow from a bowstring, disappearing the next second, leaving only an afterimage.

Yan Ye looked at the creaking door, his brows slightly furrowed, and sighed silently. His indifferent eyes swept towards the letter on the coffee table.

[Away for a month, apologies for the inconvenience.]

A ball of flame ignited at Yan Ye’s fingertips, finally landing on the letter with only six words, burning it to ashes.

The person who left the letter was Song Wang, the Indentured Servant. Now that he was on strike and there were so many books here that hadn’t been transported, Yan Ye felt a headache just looking at them. He could only furrow his brows and casually pick up the book that was vibrating the most intensely to read.

Yan Ye had long since handed the burden of the Indentured Servant to Song Wang. This task of transporting souls originally wouldn’t have fallen on him. However, now that Song Wang was on strike, taking his lover on a honeymoon, he could only step up again.

As the cover of the book opened, a blinding golden light enveloped him, finally sucking him into the Book of Reincarnation.

Night fell. The desolate cries of crows echoed overhead. Bats hanging upside down from branches flapped their wings, their eerie eyes staring at a coffin beside a Cross.

The two furtive men beside the Cross finally couldn’t bear the atmosphere. They fumbled nervously, almost cutting their fingers several times with the Dagger.

One of the tall men couldn’t stand it anymore. He pushed the short man away and said, “What are you doing? Hurry up! If the hunters discover us, we’ll be dead.”

After speaking, he snatched the sharp Dagger from the short man’s hand and ruthlessly plunged it into the girl’s chest.

Bright red, warm blood slowly flowed down from the girl’s chest. The crows on the trees smelled the scent of blood and their cries became even more piercing than before, as if stimulated by the girl’s fresh blood.

The bats’ eyes slowly turned red, their sharp teeth faintly visible in the dark night.

As soon as the girl’s blood dripped into the soil, the expressions of the two men became excited.

“Soon, soon! Hill Prince is about to awaken, and soon we can become his First Embrace,” the tall man’s eyes were full of frenzy.

In this world with vampires, hunters, and werewolves, they, as ordinary humans, were the most useless and easily bullied race. Therefore, these two men, at the cost of killing someone of their own race, wanted to become vampires and escape their ordinary status.

Before wanting to become vampires, they had wanted to join the Hunter’s Guild. However, they were scorned by the Hunter’s Guild and thrown out, which is why they took the risk of trying to become vampires.

Among the methods they had heard about for becoming vampires, one was to help a long-dormant vampire wake up. In return, the vampire would make them their First Embrace.

After searching for so long, they finally spent a fortune in the black market to find out that behind the Hunter’s Guild’s mountain, there was a vampire prince who had been sealed for a long time. As for what kind of prince, they didn’t know, as long as he could turn them into vampires.

The two then spent another large sum of money to find out how to awaken the vampire.

It was through a sacrifice of living human blood, preferably a girl’s blood.

And this led to this innocent girl being knocked out, captured, and brought here by the two.

More and more blood flowed, slowly seeping into the soil towards the coffin. The dark coffin lid shook twice. The eyes of the two men widened, and they couldn’t help but swallow nervously.

It’s happening, it’s happening soon, they are about to succeed.

The tall man’s excitement was hard to hide. Seeing that enough blood had been shed, he threw the girl aside, knelt down, and muttered, “My lord, it was us who awakened you. Please give us your First Embrace.”

The short man beside him snapped back to reality upon seeing this. He also quickly knelt down, saying the same words as the tall man, but his legs were shaking badly, and he dared not look at the coffin.

For some reason, he had a constant feeling of ominousness.

The shaking of the coffin lid grew louder. Accompanied by a pair of mysterious red eyes opening, the coffin lid exploded upwards, embedding itself in the muddy ground.

The two men who had been kneeling were startled by the sudden movement. Their knees gave way, and they fell to the ground. When they saw the “person” in the coffin, they were both excited and frightened.

“My lord, it was us who awakened you.”

Yan Ye, who had just sat up in the coffin, heard this and a playful look flashed in his bloodthirsty eyes. His bloodless lips parted slightly, “I know.”

Although he was lying in the coffin, he had heard the conversation between the two men clearly. He naturally knew what the two men wanted.

The tall man heard him say this and, suppressing his fear of the vampire, continued, “Please, my lord, let me become your First Embrace.”

The short man, afraid of being left out, quickly said, “And, and me.” As he spoke, his teeth chattered.

Yan Ye sat in the coffin, one leg stretched out and the other half-bent. His slender, pale fingers rested on the edge of the coffin. A sticky sensation came from his fingertips, which caused his gaze to shift towards the girl not far away.

Due to his bloodline, upon seeing the fresh blood on the girl’s chest, Yan Ye’s fangs involuntarily protruded a little.

He frowned slightly, suppressed the craving for blood in his heart, hooked his finger at the two men, and said in a careless tone, “My First Embrace, I only give it to one person. The two of you, choose one yourself.”

As he finished speaking, he slowly stood up from the coffin, not looking at the men’s reactions, and walked towards the direction of the girl’s body.

The two men, who had been ecstatic, had a change in expression. Seeing that the vampire prince was leaving, both were afraid that he wouldn’t give them the First Embrace, so they scrambled to snatch the Dagger on the ground.

“This First Embrace is mine, you can’t steal it,” the tall man said through gritted teeth. Just as his fingers were about to reach the Dagger, the short man behind him pulled his body back.

“What do you mean it’s yours? If I hadn’t captured the person and bled them to awaken the lord, would the lord have woken up? This should be mine.”

“Nonsense! I found this method, it should be mine,” the tall man said resentfully. Seeing the short man getting the Dagger, a vicious look flashed in his eyes. He glanced at a stone beside him and, without hesitation, reached out and lifted it high.

“Hahaha, it’s me, it’s me, my lord, I got the Dagge…”

With a bang, the short man’s joyful voice abruptly stopped.

His eyes were still looking in Yan Ye’s direction, but his body fell backward.

The tall man still held a bloody stone in his hand, his chest heaving violently, his heart pounding. “It’s mine.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he seemed to react. He pried open the fingers of the dead short man, took the Dagger from his hand, and looked at Yan Ye, “My lord.”

Although Yan Ye had his back to them, he was fully aware of their actions. His eyes, holding a shallow smile, narrowed slightly, and he said with a hint of a smile, “My First Embrace is not for just anyone.”

The First Embrace is very important to a high-level vampire. Besides a loved one, it’s true that not just anyone is worthy of being given the First Embrace by a vampire prince.

This man before him was also the case.

After listening to him, the smile on the tall man’s face froze. However, the next second, he heard Yan Ye ask again, “You want to become a vampire?”

The tall man nodded quickly, “Yes, my lord. I admire you and wish to follow by your side.”

Yan Ye had his back to him, so the person behind couldn’t see him pierce his finger and feed his blood to the already dead girl.

“Since you want to become a vampire so much, I will fulfill your wish. Follow me,” Yan Ye picked up the girl and walked towards the depths of the cemetery.

Although the tall man was confused as to why he was taking a dead person away, he didn’t dare ask and quickly followed.

After their figures disappeared, the crows and bats on the trees flew towards the two corpses and began to feed until the people from the Hunter’s Guild discovered that the prince they had suppressed was gone.

According to the original owner’s memory, Yan Ye came to a gloomy Castle and only then began to examine the Book of Reincarnation carefully.

This was a world where vampires, werewolves, and humans coexisted. The former two were both terrifying existences to humans and a threat to them.

Fortunately, humans had hunters specifically dedicated to hunting the two.

These hunters were chosen from thousands of humans, and only those with strong abilities were qualified to be hunters.

In this world, the female lead was a hunter, and the male lead was a vampire. They were originally childhood sweethearts, two children without suspicion. However, because the female lead’s mother was killed by a vampire, and the male lead happened to have half vampire blood, and this was accidentally found out by the Werewolf Male Supporting Character, under the supporting character’s deliberate misleading, the female lead believed the male lead had killed her mother and fled. In a fit of anger, she joined the Hunter’s Guild and engaged in a decisive battle with the male lead.

As a descendant of a vampire count, after the male lead’s bloodline awakened, he began to love and hate the female lead. He loved her and couldn’t bear to kill her directly, which indirectly led to the hunters who came with the female lead to kill him becoming tools for the male lead to vent his anger. The female lead would always return to the guild with only minor injuries, while those who went out with her were tragically gone forever.

Because of the Male Supporting Character’s meddling, the male and female leads in this world treated others as part of their “play”.

As for why the Male Supporting Character did this, the book didn’t say, and Yan Ye didn’t know. He could only first stop the Male Supporting Character from causing trouble.

And now… looking at the position where the Book of Reincarnation stopped, the Male Supporting Character had just been saved by the male lead not long ago.

Yan Ye snapped his fingers. The Book of Reincarnation in mid-air closed automatically and landed in his palm.

Outside the room, there was a sound, followed by the voice of a Blood Thrall, “My King, the girl you brought has woken up.”
