    Nutrient Solution

Very well. With new and old grudges combined, it seemed this Lucas person could no longer be allowed to remain.

Seeing his Master rolling up his sleeves, Ryan hurriedly crawled forward a few steps on his knees. He leaned submissively against Felix’s knee and advised patiently, Master, please do not get into a conflict with Anka Lucas.

    Felix did not understand. Why?

He is a noble, Ryan said, his entire body trembling with tension. You will get hurt.

Felix took a deep breath and firmly massaged his throbbing temples.

    Nobles.

Truly a product of a feudal society.

Master, Ryan looked on with concern, are you feeling unwell?

Is… is it because I have affected you?

His body was tense, and Felix’s words from the hospital kept echoing in his mind.

It is nothing, Felix said, rubbing his temples. He fell into thought for a moment before heading toward the bedroom. I am going to rest for a while.

When in doubt, sleep. Once he woke up, the world would surely return to its original state.

When he woke up, the sky was dark. Felix sat up and checked the time; it was already eleven o’clock at night.

Waking up at this hour was the most miserable thing.

He could not fall back asleep while lying in bed, yet he would have to get up just when he finally felt sleepy again.

He sat up, leaning lazily against the headboard. He looked inward at his Mental Sea and saw that what had once been the size of a small pond had now nearly expanded into a large lake.

In just one afternoon, he had risen from A-rank to S-rank. It was not bad.

However, the recovery speed would gradually slow down from here. More importantly, this body was too weak. With his 3S-rank Mental Power, it would certainly tear him apart.

Felix sat on the bed with his knees pulled up, his gaze falling vacantly on the empty air. The darkness provided him with enough quiet space to think.

He soon decided on the first thing he needed to do—exercise.

He walked downstairs toward the kitchen, a training plan slowly forming in his mind.

Reaching the kitchen quickly, he reached out and pulled up Ryan, who was preparing to kneel. He looked silently at the dining table.

On the exquisite and luxurious table sat delicate little plates, upon which rested two nutrient solutions tied with golden ribbons.

In just a single second, Felix overturned his previous plan.

The plan to exercise was moved to second place without hesitation. The new number one priority was—planting vegetables!

Planting vegetables? Ryan blinked, somewhat curious. Master, do you want to plant vegetables?

Felix nodded. Do you know where seeds are sold?

You can buy them on the Starnet.

Ryan watched Felix place an order on the Starnet, feeling confused.

Why would Master like planting vegetables?

The soil on the Zerg planet was heavily polluted. The vegetables grown from it were full of impurities and were inedible.

Looking at Felix, who was excitedly hoeing the ground outside the door at midnight, Ryan hesitated and swallowed his words.

Forget it. Whatever Master does must have a reason.

After a moment of silence, Ryan also picked up a hoe and followed behind Felix to help till the soil.

The crescent moon hung high in the sky. Felix’s new yard was quickly divided into various sections.

He wiped away his sweat and turned to look at Ryan, who was nodding off from exhaustion. He reached out and toyed with the stray hairs on Ryan’s forehead.

    Go to sleep.

Ryan jolted awake, trying hard to widen his eyes. It is fine, Master. I am not sleepy.

I am sleepy, Felix said, putting down the hoe and stretching as he walked toward the bedroom. Get some rest early. Goodnight.

Ryan silently followed him upstairs. Felix turned around, looked at Ryan’s drooping golden hair, and asked, What is it?

Master, Ryan nervously tugged at the corner of his clothes, according to the Female Slave Code… if Master does not touch me… I must kneel at your door and beg for forgiveness.

Felix’s expression turned cold. He straightened Ryan’s messy collar and personally escorted him back to his bedroom. Sleep quietly. Do not start any trouble.

Ryan lowered his head silently, hiding the disappointment in his eyes.

Master truly loathed him. Perhaps… Master was refusing to touch him because he was preparing to sell him.

He had heard that clean Females could fetch a good price.

In the darkness, those sapphires were once again shrouded in a layer of mist. Ryan quietly went to Felix’s door and knelt there without a word.

As a Female Slave, he had been rejected by his Master on the very first day.

He must be the most failed Female in the world.

If he had known… if he had known back then, he would have listened properly in class instead of secretly watching Military Female competitions.

After showering, Felix lay in bed staring at the ceiling, silently listening to the sound of a breath that did not belong to him.

    Ryan was at his door.

He knew it. Someone who had been successfully brainwashed would not easily give up the theories they clung to.

Felix sighed and rolled over to cover his head, but the breathing at the door was exceptionally clear—so clear that it was hard to ignore.

Driven by a mix of irritation and helplessness, he threw off the covers and got out of bed. He strode to the door and swung it open.

The Female at the door had his head bowed, his eyes showing obvious exhaustion.

Felix leaned against the doorframe, looking at Ryan who was on the verge of falling asleep, and let out a soft tsk.

In just a few days, this poor Female in front of him had experienced being given to the original owner as a Sinful Female, having his wings removed, accidentally injuring the original owner, being locked in the Male Protection Association to endure a bout of abuse, and then tilling the ground for half a day before his wounds had even fully healed. He was already in a state of physical and mental exhaustion.

Felix’s movements were very light, so much so that Ryan did not even realize he had come out. It was not until his body was lifted into the air that he suddenly snapped his eyes open and began to struggle violently.

What are you doing? Felix’s upper body became unstable due to the movement, and he nearly dropped Ryan.

Master, I… Ryan’s eyes were full of terror. He looked at Felix, stammering and unable to speak. I…

I what? Felix placed Ryan on the bed and pulled the quilt over him, rolling him into a giant silkworm cocoon. Then, he yawned and turned to walk out. You like this room? I will let you have it.

No, that is not it, Master!

Ryan struggled desperately, but he did not know what Felix had done. The more he struggled, the tighter the quilt wrapped around him, making it difficult to break free.

His face turned red with anxiety. Panting as he tugged at the quilt, he watched helplessly as Felix walked out of the bedroom, leaving him there alone.

Ryan’s eyes were red, and his mind was in a mess for a moment. He could not figure out what Felix was trying to do.

Did he want to punish him? But after Felix brought him back, he had done nothing. He had even given him high-grade nutrient solution.

That was something even a noble Female Monarch might not necessarily have access to.

Ordinary nutrient solutions mostly contained impurities that could affect a Zerg’s Mental Power. But high-grade nutrient solution was different; it was specially processed by the Male Protection Association and contained very few impurities.

Ryan gradually stopped struggling and stared at the ceiling, his eyes filled with confusion.

He still could not understand why Felix had suddenly changed so much.

On the other side, after leaving the bedroom, Felix went straight downstairs to Ryan’s room.

A faint floral scent from the Female remained in the bedroom. Felix’s tired eyes widened slightly, and he took a deep breath while hugging the quilt.

Unfortunately, Ryan had not actually lain on the bed, so the quilt still smelled faintly of detergent.

Scenting the lingering floral fragrance in the air, Felix closed his eyes, and his restless mood gradually calmed down.

The Mental Power that had been deliberately suppressed began to grow wantonly after Felix fell into a deep sleep.

It curiously crawled all over the room. Greeting the first rays of the morning sun, it tentatively crawled onto the humanoid figure at the door, transmitting feelings of pleasure back to its host.

The furrowed brow of the sleeping Felix relaxed slightly, and the Mental Power became even more reckless.

Ryan, who was kneeling at the door, scratched his chin strangely, his muscles tensing slightly.

This feeling of being watched wantonly made him uneasy, but he did not know where the gaze was coming from. Being in a situation where the enemy was in the dark while he was in the light made him anxious.

The Mental Power transmitted Ryan’s unease to Felix without reservation. Felix, who had not been asleep for long, frowned again. Facing the morning sun, he slowly opened his eyes.

Immediately after, he sensed what his Mental Power had been doing, and his movements to get out of bed instantly stiffened.

With a grim expression, he withdrew his Mental Power and forced it back into his Mental Sea. He looked at Ryan, who was cautiously entering the room, and spoke with the hoarseness unique to someone who had just woken up. What is it?

Master, are you awake? I have prepared breakfast for you.

Ryan thoughtfully brought out his clothes for him, kneeling by the bed with his head submissively lowered.

I will serve you while you dress.

Felix covered his face with both hands. Under Ryan’s gaze, it took a long time before he let out a heavy sigh. No need. Stand up and speak.

He observed Ryan’s expression. As expected, Ryan became even more uneasy after hearing those words.

Master, may I ask if Ryan has done something wrong?

No, Felix paused, then could not help but reach out and rub Ryan’s head. Go buy some seeds. I want to grow my own vegetables.

The golden strands of hair were rubbed into a bird’s nest under Felix’s palm. The stray hairs on his forehead were pushed aside, revealing those hazy blue eyes.

Seeing those dim sapphires, Felix was reminded of how Ryan’s eyes used to look.

    Bright, lustrous sapphires.

Like an artist’s prized collection, a unique treasure in the world.

Felix’s expression turned cold again, and the enthusiasm he had just mustered dissipated quite a bit.

He felt no sense of belonging to this so-called Zerg Race. As for the Blue Star of his past life, he had drained his last bit of Mental Power to turn the tide of a losing battle. He imagined that not long after his death, Blue Star would be able to win a decisive victory using the newly developed mecha. He was not worried about Blue Star’s future.

Now, he only wanted to lie down quietly in some corner, rather than being here and having disgusting concepts forced upon him by a nonsensical race.

But Ryan was a variable. Since he occupied the original owner’s body—even if it was forced—he had to take responsibility for this body’s family.

Ryan could be considered his family now.

Felix stood before the dining table, looking at the nutrient solutions tied with pretty bows, and fell into thought.

Returning to Blue Star was definitely impossible. He had checked the Zerg maps last night, and the star system where Blue Star was located did not exist here at all.

As for overturning the situation of the Zerg Race, he was not in the mood for that right now.

But since he was not dead, eating was a major concern.

Thinking of this, Felix called Ryan over. I want to buy some fresh vegetables. Are there any supermarkets or anything around here?

Master, do you want to eat natural vegetables? Ryan stood before him uneasily, his hazy eyes filled with panic. I am sorry, Master. My assets are only enough to buy a tiny bit of vegetables, and…

Felix raised an eyebrow, quietly waiting for Ryan to continue.

Ryan’s eyelashes were fluttering at a frantic frequency, showing his extreme internal unease.

He bit his lower lip until it was almost bloodless. Only after a long while did he speak in a low voice. I am sorry, Master. I do not know how to cook.
