    Exclusive Male Lord

Felix sipped his tea with an unruffled expression. Alec paused before saying, “When Bowa and I are at home, I don’t like him serving me with such cautious trepidation either. I was actually planning to ask Ryan to sit with us just now.”

Ryan’s ears turned red, and hearing this made him even more restless. Felix patted his shoulder and reassured him in a low voice, “Haven’t you finished packing your luggage yet? Why don’t you go do that now?”

Upon hearing this, Ryan practically bolted upright. He bowed slightly toward Alec and Felix. “Lord Alec, Male Lord, please take your time chatting. I… I’ll head upstairs first.”

Conventionally, a Female Monarch should remain by his side when a Male was meeting guests, but clearly, neither of the two in the living room cared about that.

Ryan turned and fled toward his room, leaving the two seemingly mismatched Males to drink their tea in silence.

“Did Lord Alec come here today just to tell me this?” Felix asked with a look of boredom. “To be honest, respecting one’s own Female Monarch is a basic requirement for a Male, isn’t it?”

The implication was clear: Do you expect me to praise you just because you respect your own Female Monarch?

Alec strangely understood the subtext. His calm and composed facade nearly crumbled. He truly hadn’t expected that his carefully chosen icebreaker would end up losing him points.

Seeing the Male before him growing increasingly cold, Alec decided to temporarily give up on trying to build a rapport with this stubborn individual.

“It’s like this: there was a slight issue with the course selection system you used today,” Alec said, getting straight to the point. He reopened the system and said gently, “The physical training course you selected is actually a course for Females.”

    Felix’s brow furrowed imperceptibly. “And?”

“Males don’t have a physical training component,” Alec hesitated slightly, asking cautiously, “Did you choose this course yourself?”

“Who else would have?” Felix looked at him. “I don’t plan on choosing any other courses.”

Alec’s eyes flickered. He swallowed his prepared persuasion, and his smile became a bit more genuine. “That’s what I guessed. Since you don’t need to change it, I’ll explain the situation to President Aria and Dean Lin.”

Alec stood up and looked at Felix, who had also risen. He gave a slight nod. “I’ve disturbed you enough for today. I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll take my leave.”

Felix nodded and saw the guest out. Once Alec left, he locked the courtyard gate without hesitation, simultaneously blocking out the prying eyes from the surroundings.

Alec thought, What a terrible temper!

Ever since Felix moved here, many Males had been secretly trying to dig up information about him, but Felix ignored them all and forbade Ryan from interacting with them either.

Ryan had no choice but to decline the invitation letters sent by the neighboring Female Monarchs and Female Attendants.

However, this also made him breathe a sigh of relief. He didn’t know those Females, and he had no desire to face their probing questions, whether they were born of pity or a desire to watch a spectacle.

After Alec left, Ryan remained in the house. Felix picked up his seeds and went to the garden to start planting.

The crops of the Zerg Race were incredibly resilient; they could grow even in polluted soil, let alone clean land.

Felix calculated the spacing, poked small holes one by one, dropped seeds in groups of two or three, and finally covered them with soil.

By the time Ryan realized the outside was unusually quiet and rushed out, Felix had already begun watering the crops.

The water source on the Zerg planet wasn’t polluted; it was clear and sweet. Felix guessed it was because the water was underground, and the remnants of the Brooke race hadn’t reached it.

“Male Lord?” Ryan strode into the garden, his collar wide open, revealing his flushed collarbone. “Let me help you!”

Felix grabbed his arm and pulled him to the edge of the garden. “Stand here. Don’t move around recklessly.”

Ryan immediately froze. He watched Felix move nimbly through the field, carefully avoiding the spots where crops were planted with every step.

Only then did he notice the field had changed. Seeds were scattered around many newly filled holes. Ryan crouched down and used his index finger to carefully press them into the soil.

“Male Lord, did Lord Alec have any instructions when he came by just now?” Ryan asked, looking up at Felix while still crouching. “He’s the teacher in charge of the Male Academy this year.”

Felix pulled on the water hose and shook his head at Ryan. “It was nothing. Just a system glitch during course selection.”

He spoke nonchalantly, but Ryan intuitively felt it couldn’t be that simple. He boldly pressed further, “Was there a problem with your course selection?”

He remembered the Male Lord had spent a long time choosing. If he was forced into a course he didn’t like because of a system lag, the Male Lord would surely be upset.

“No problem,” Felix said calmly. “It’s just that the physical training I chose doesn’t belong to the Male Academy. I might have to go to the Female Academy to study with the Females when the time comes.”

“Wh… what?” For a moment, Ryan thought he had misheard. “Physical training?!”

“Yes,” Felix glanced back at him. “Why so surprised? Didn’t you take this course too?”

Ryan was an outstanding graduate of the Capital Academy; this course was naturally a requirement for him, and likely one he excelled in.

Felix gave Ryan a teasing smile. “I’ll have to ask Senior Ryan for more guidance then.”

Ryan turned pale and muttered, “Male Lord… perhaps you should change to a different course.”

Felix followed his suggestion easily. “Alright.”

Ryan was delighted, but before he could speak, he heard his Male Lord say something startling: “I think Starship Piloting sounds good too.”

    Ryan: “…Star… Starship Piloting?!”

Felix was amused by his reaction. He put away the hose, walked to his side, washed his hands, and led him away from the garden.

Back in the living room, he poured two cups of Yellow Spirit Tea. He handed one to Ryan and drained his own in one gulp. He poured two more cups and drank until he was full before setting the cup down. “Don’t worry. There were course descriptions for everything. I chose them after reading carefully.”

He naturally knew the intensity of physical training; it wasn’t much different from the military academies of his past life. He could handle it, though he wasn’t sure how long it would take this body to reach his previous level of strength.

As for Starship Piloting, Felix was indeed interested. He had seen the starship thumbnails on the school’s official website. They were a bit more advanced than his previous life, but the basic framework hadn’t changed.

Felix was interested, but he wouldn’t waste time learning things he was already proficient in. In contrast, plant cultivation, gourmet cooking, and physical training were what he needed most right now.

As for the Male courses like tea tasting, handling relationships between the females at home, and various other messy courses whose names he couldn’t remember—Felix’s brow furrowed so hard at a single glance that it could have crushed a fly.

Seeing his mind was made up, Ryan didn’t dare say more. He just silently prepared a lot of wound medicine, hoping the Male Lord wouldn’t take his anger out on him when the time came.

Ryan closed his eyes, his mind invaded by sleepiness. In his daze, he wondered: Would the current Felix really take his anger out on me?

The next day, Ryan woke up early, but he was still a step too late. By the time he walked out of the bedroom, Felix was already in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

“Male Lord,” Ryan stood at the kitchen door, rubbing his eyes. “Good morning.”

“Morning,” Felix didn’t look back. He skillfully arranged the pan-fried dumplings on a plate and fried two steaks to put on small plates. “Have you washed up yet?”

Holding a plate in each hand, he avoided Ryan’s reaching hand and set the plates on the table. “Time to eat.”

Ryan stared blankly at Felix, still unable to adjust to the Male Lord’s diligence and gentleness. This was a far cry from the Males in his memory, making it very difficult for him to accept.

But a good Male was always better than a bad one. Ryan tried hard to tell himself to adapt to a good Male Lord, while simultaneously warning himself in his heart that the original Male Lord could return at any time, and he must absolutely not let his guard down.

Ryan quickly brewed the Yellow Spirit Tea, placed a cup in front of Felix, and after a thought, poured one for himself as well.

Breakfast wasn’t lavish, but compared to low-grade nutrient solutions, it was a rare delicacy.

He glanced at the steak, then picked up a pan-fried dumpling first, taking a cautious bite.

The dumpling skin was fried until crispy. With one bite, it was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The juice from the meat filling rushed into his mouth, the savory flavor instantly exploding on his taste buds.

Ryan’s eyes lit up. He couldn’t wait to take another bite, this time getting to the meat filling. The filling was plump; although it was meat, it was mixed with green leafy vegetables, so it wasn’t too greasy.

Felix was confident in his cooking. Seeing Ryan eating one after another without stopping, he suddenly worried if the other would overeat.

However, as it turned out, a Military Female’s appetite was much better than he had imagined.

Ryan quickly finished the pan-fried dumplings one by one, then stabbed a whole steak with his fork. Licking the corner of his lips, he bit off more than half in one go.

The steak had been specially treated and marinated. The marinade was Felix’s exclusive improved version. In his original world, it didn’t quite suit the general public’s taste, but unexpectedly, it was exceptionally suited to the Zerg Race’s palate.

“How is it?” Felix pushed the remaining half of the dumplings on his plate forward. “Do you want more?”

Ryan finished the steak in a few bites and looked longingly at the dumplings across from him, his expression hesitant. “Male Lord, aren’t you going to eat anymore?”

When Felix had placed the plates on the table, Ryan had carefully counted them. Each plate had forty dumplings and a palm-sized steak.

But Felix had only eaten the steak and half of the dumplings.

“I’m full,” Felix pushed the plate forward again. This time, the plate was right in front of Ryan. “You eat.”

Ryan’s eyes sparkled. He gripped a corner of the plate, pulling it toward himself while carefully observing Felix’s expression. Seeing no dissatisfaction or anger, he finally felt safe to start eating.

After Ryan finished the meal, he took the plates to the kitchen to wash and put them away. Felix had also brought his suitcase down from the second floor.

The weight of the suitcase was much heavier than he expected. He didn’t know if Ryan had put his own things in there too, but in any case, it definitely couldn’t be just the weight of his few pieces of clothing.

After coming downstairs, Ryan was already waiting for him at the door with his backpack. Felix glanced at Ryan’s damp hands and suggested, “Maybe we should buy a domestic robot.”

    Ryan was stunned. “What?”

“A domestic robot,” Felix repeated. “Buy a robot and leave chores like cleaning to it.”

Ryan paused for a few seconds before nodding in agreement. “Alright.”

He reached out to take the giant suitcase from Felix’s hand and followed him out. Internally, he was secretly surprised: Could a change in personality really cause even one’s preferences to change?

He remembered the Male Lord had always disliked robots, believing they were things only Males with no status would use, whereas true nobles would find more Females to serve them.
