Chapter 108: Forcing It – Such Fierce Temperament, In Bed It Would Be…

The next day, Yu Shuli woke up groggily, only to find that Wan Yan Jun was already waiting anxiously at the door for a long time.

Yu Shuli couldn’t help but feel a headache coming on.

Wan Yan Jun wasn’t stupid. He might not react after being fooled once or twice, but after three or four times, he would definitely sense something was wrong.

Yu Shuli was now not only “living under someone else’s roof” but also had his weakness in their hands. Even if he resisted, it would be difficult to find any chance of success.

If Wan Yan Jun realized he was deliberately delaying, who knew if he would destroy Wei Yan’s antidote out of anger?

Yu Shuli didn’t dare to be negligent and opened the door to welcome him in.

Wan Yan Jun was dressed in court attire. Upon entering and seeing Yu Shuli’s disheveled appearance, he chuckled softly, “Just woke up?”

He sat down at the table, watching Yu Shuli order someone to fetch water for cleaning up.

Yu Shuli grunted in acknowledgement, wiping the water stains from his face. While undoing his hairband, he sat at the table, waiting for the maid to comb his hair. He glanced up at him and said, “I don’t have to attend court, of course I can sleep as late as I want.”

Wan Yan Jun saw his plain face, beautiful beyond description, and felt a stirring in his heart. He stood up and walked over again.

He waved away the maid and the young eunuch, taking the comb from Yu Shuli’s hand himself, “Let me comb your hair.”

Yu Shuli pretended not to care as he shifted his chair, “Are you as skilled as them? Don’t tell me you’re deliberately trying to pull my hair out.”

Wan Yan Jun smiled, “How could I be so clumsy? Back in Da Liang, I always did it myself…” He paused mid-sentence.

“Why did you stop?” Yu Shuli turned to look at Wan Yan Jun, only to have a few strands of hair actually pulled out because Wan Yan Jun was holding it.

Yu Shuli hissed, snatching his hair back and scolding, “You really were trying to pull my hair out!”

Wan Yan Jun looked somewhat apologetic, “I was distracted.”

“Forget it, forget it. Call that little maid in here, let her comb it.” Yu Shuli couldn’t wait to find an excuse to get rid of him.

Wan Yan Jun didn’t leave. He leaned down, almost touching Yu Shuli’s shoulder.

Yu Shuli trembled in fright, avoiding him, “What are you doing?!”

“Back in Da Liang, I was always hesitant, missing many opportunities to spend time with you. Now I can finally make up for it.” He twirled a strand of Yu Shuli’s hair around his finger, “I don’t know if Wei Yan has ever combed your hair, but I imagine a person like him, used to being high and mighty, would never deign to do so. His skills certainly wouldn’t be as good as mine.”

Wan Yan Jun smiled, “After the empress conferment ceremony is over, I can comb your hair for the rest of our lives.”

Yu Shuli twitched his lips, not daring to say that although Wei Yan was aloof, he not only helped him comb his hair but also helped him wash his underwear.

He pushed Wan Yan Jun away, “You’re the Emperor of Xizhao, can’t you have a little more ambition?”

Wan Yan Jun’s fingers slowly traced Yu Shuli’s neck, “This little ambition, I never even dared to dream of before.” Seeing Yu Shuli’s dodging gaze and unchanging ears, his eyes deepened, “Ji’an, now that I’ve finally gotten my wish, you have no idea how afraid I am of losing it.”

Yu Shuli laughed drily, shifting his chair again to avoid his fingers. “Aren’t we getting married soon?”

    “Are we?”

Wan Yan Jun finished combing his hair, arranging each strand as he had done in the past, then turned him around to face him, revealing a gentle smile, “Ji’an, I’m asking you, are you truly willing to spend the rest of your life with me?”

Yu Shuli suddenly felt goosebumps rising on his back. He stammered, “Al… Although I was a little unwilling and forced at first… But… But you’ve been pretty good to me too…”

Wan Yan Jun’s eyes turned cold as he reached out again, this time pinching Yu Shuli’s chin.

“Ji’an, words can lie, but the body’s reactions cannot.” He brought his face closer, and as expected, Yu Shuli avoided him.

“See, your body is saying it hates me.” Wan Yan Jun’s lips curled into a mocking smile, “You hate me, yet you’re forced to pretend to be friendly with me, you must feel disgusted, right?”

    Yu Shuli was stunned.

“You really can do anything for Wei Yan…” Wan Yan Jun gritted his teeth, his eyes flashing with a crazy light, “Ha, no wonder you’ve been so obedient these past two days, so you were trying to keep me hanging on, hoping to trick me into giving you the antidote, is that it?”

The morning light was bright, stretching their shadows on the ground into distorted and hideous shapes.

“You even agreed to be on the bottom, what else are you unsatisfied with?”

Yu Shuli looked up, meeting Wan Yan Jun’s gaze. After being exposed, the fake expression on his face faded away. “I was really trying to cooperate with you and put on a good show, but since you’ve already seen through it, then I guess my acting is just too bad. Wan Yan Jun, you can’t blame me for this. I told you a long time ago, I don’t like you, you’re the one who’s forcing it.”

Now that Wan Yan Jun had already discovered the truth, Yu Shuli, a reckless man, had no other choice but to tear off the mask. It was unnecessary for him to lower himself and try to please him any further.

The two men stood facing each other in silence, the air filled with a suffocating atmosphere.

“Forcing it?” Wan Yan Jun sneered, “Since you put it that way, then I’m going to force it.”

He suddenly reached out and pulled Yu Shuli into his arms, holding down his shoulders to prevent him from resisting, “Think carefully, if you refuse me today, then I’ll throw away the antidote. Even if Wei Yan is lucky enough not to die from the explosion, without the antidote, he will surely die.”

Yu Shuli bit down on the soft flesh inside his mouth, slapping him hard across the face, then pressed his fist against Wan Yan Jun’s chest, exerting force to push him back several feet, “Wan Yan Jun, I’m not someone you can bully.”

“Is that so? But the power of Five Stone Powder lies in its ability to turn a chaste and virtuous woman into a slut. You… are certainly no exception.” Wan Yan Jun chuckled, casually wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth with his finger. “Such fierce temperament, in bed, would be even more tempting.”

“Wan Yan Jun, I was right about you, you’re truly a beast.”

“A beast?” Wan Yan Jun still walked over, fearlessly embracing him tightly.

Yu Shuli had just used the little bit of internal energy he had managed to cultivate, which instead triggered the Five Stone Powder’s effects, causing his face to flush with passion.

Wan Yan Jun’s gaze deepened, his eyes almost burning with the flames of desire. He slowly lowered his head, his lips touching Yu Shuli’s earlobe, and whispered, “You know, I want you, I’ve always wanted you. Although I promised you I’d be the one on the bottom, actually, I’m even better on top. You’ll soon experience it.”

Yu Shuli felt only anger and shame. He couldn’t care about anything else anymore. Taking advantage of the fact that the Five Stone Powder hadn’t fully taken effect, he once again forcibly mustered his internal energy and attacked Wan Yan Jun like a leopard.

“Yu Shuli! Are you crazy!” Wan Yan Jun gritted his teeth, “If you don’t dispel the effects of the Five Stone Powder, and force your internal energy, you’ll die!”

Yu Shuli glared at him with hatred, attacking relentlessly, “I’ll drag you down with me before I die.”

“You!” Wan Yan Jun’s martial arts skills were inferior to Yu Shuli’s. Now he only had a slight advantage because Yu Shuli was affected by the Five Stone Powder and couldn’t fight freely. How could he easily face Yu Shuli, who seemed determined to fight to the death?

He barely managed to dodge a few blows before hastily calling out for help.

A group of guards and Imperial Guards swarmed in, taking a great deal of effort to tie Yu Shuli up.

Due to the fighting, Yu Shuli’s old wounds had reopened, causing him to be jolted awake by the pain.

Thrown onto the bed, Yu Shuli’s gaze was cold, “Wan Yan Jun, is this all you’ve got?” He sneered, “Truly impressive.”

The Imperial Guards were driven out of the room.

Wan Yan Jun leaned down, hovering over Yu Shuli, his movements cold as he tore off his belt, “Still being stubborn?”

Yu Shuli didn’t get angry, instead he laughed. “Going to do it, then hurry up? Are you impotent?”

“Even though you don’t beg for mercy, you still dare to mock me at a time like this, just as stubborn as you were back then.”

Wan Yan Jun’s fingers pressed against his chest, about to take another step, suddenly, there was a violent knocking at the door.

“Get out!” Wan Yan Jun’s eyes flashed with murderous intent.

But the knocking at the door didn’t stop.

    “Your Majesty! Urgent report!”

Wan Yan Jun paused, forced to get off Yu Shuli. “Come in!”

The door opened quickly and cautiously, and the soldier reported, “Report! That Wei Yan seems to have been rescued by some expert, who managed to take him back to the Da Liang military camp from our rear without anyone noticing. Now he has been rescued by the Emperor of Da Liang!”

Wan Yan Jun’s eyes turned cold, and he said angrily, “What did you say?!”

Yu Shuli smiled provocatively from behind, “Oh! Someone escaped! And was rescued?!” He winked at the soldier, “Thank you for the good news!”

Wan Yan Jun’s face twisted, revealing a chilling murderous intent. “Hang the old Emperor of Da Liang on the city gates and tear him apart!”

    Yu Shuli’s eyes flickered.

The Da Liang soldier said, “This is also part of the urgent report! That old madman has somehow disappeared! We have searched everywhere but can’t find him!” He glanced cautiously at Wan Yan Jun’s face, speculating, “Could it be… that someone broke him out of prison?”

“Broke him out of prison?! Are you all idiots?!”

“Your subordinate is ashamed!” The soldier said, “But the prison is guarded day and night, and the soldiers have never left their posts… Could it be… that there really are ghosts and gods at work?”

“If ghosts and gods come, they will take your lives first!” Wan Yan Jun kicked the soldier, “Set up a dragnet and search! If you can’t find him, you will bring me your heads!”

“Oh dear… what are we going to do?” Yu Shuli blinked, “You only have me as a hostage now.”

He glanced at Wan Yan Jun’s lower body, “Still going to do it? Tsk tsk tsk, I’m afraid you’re eager but can’t do it. After all, your nemesis is alive. If you don’t go after him, it will be too late… Think about it, Wei Yan’s methods are not child’s play. Maybe your Xizhao will be finished.”

Wan Yan Jun bit his teeth angrily, glaring at Yu Shuli, who was enjoying the show. “You wait for me to come back and deal with you!”

He rushed out the door, ordering his subordinates, “Lock his hands and feet with iron chains, and wait for me to return!”

Yu Shuli squirmed on the bed, shouting from behind, “Get a longer chain! I still need to pee!”

The soldier looked at him coldly, “Be honest!”

Yu Shuli ignored him, still shouting to Wan Yan Jun, “If you don’t mind someone helping me relieve myself, then do whatever you want.”

Wan Yan Jun did turn around, giving Yu Shuli a gloomy look, before ordering, “Bring a longer chain!” After thinking for a while, he added, “Besides, no matter what sweet words he says, don’t believe him!”

    “Understood!”

Yu Shuli raised his eyebrows, still being cheeky, “Got it, go get busy. I’m really not interested in their looks, so I can’t be charming.”

After Wan Yan Jun left, the door was closed again, and Yu Shuli finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Now he was just waiting for Chen Li to report the good news and take him away.

Who knew that in the middle of the night, the night wind rustled.

What he was waiting for… was not Chen Li.
