MFIMM Chapter 10
by VolarePseudo-Heat
Lin Xi slept very soundly this time, his body limp. He quickly lost consciousness and had long forgotten Pei Jiashu completely.
When Pei Jiashu returned from the company, the house was dark.
However, his keen sense of smell easily detected the residual omega pheromones in the air, a sweet honey scent.
This was Lin Xi’s pheromones.
He had smelled it once before, when Lin Xi confessed to him.
Pei Jiashu frowned imperceptibly, thinking that he should remind Lin Xi another day not to leave his pheromones in the living room casually.
Then he grabbed his suit tie and walked upstairs. The lights in the rooms were all automatic sensor lights, all lighting up as he walked.
He opened the door, and the light inside was surprisingly not fully on, but remained in sleep mode.
A sweet honey scent rushed into his nostrils. Pei Jiashu used the faint light to discover a small lump on his bed.
He casually pulled off his tie, and the room rapidly heated up due to the omega’s pheromones.
Pei Jiashu turned on the light switch next to the door, and the room instantly brightened. He saw the person on the bed curled into a ball, face flushed, breathing somewhat heavy in the silent room.
He was about to lose his temper, but when he saw Lin Xi’s face wrinkled with fever, he paused. Then, resigned, he walked to the bedside, trying to wake Lin Xi.
Lin Xi vaguely heard some sounds, but those sounds were too far away from him. He could only smell the faint scent of mint in the air.
A hand stretched out to grab Pei Jiashu’s arm, and his body also moved closer to Pei Jiashu.
Pei Jiashu stiffened all over. Lin Xi’s body temperature was surprisingly high, and he seemed uncomfortable. He made a few hot, panting noises from his nose, rubbing his burning face against Pei Jiashu’s arm.
The place where Pei Jiashu was touched seemed to be burning like it had been touched by fire, rapidly igniting. But Lin Xi refused to let go of him, continuing to attack him with hot air.
“Lin Xi.” Pei Jiashu took a deep breath, almost suppressing his temper, and called Lin Xi again. The only response was Lin Xi’s humming.
“I’ll get you an inhibitor, let go of me first.” Pei Jiashu didn’t really intend to ask for Lin Xi’s opinion. He pried open Lin Xi’s fingers, but Lin Xi quickly hugged his hand again, simply not wanting him to leave.
After such tossing and turning, Lin Xi finally opened his eyes, but his eyes were also filled with confusion. The pseudo-heat almost tormented him to the point that he couldn’t distinguish the situation in front of him, only wanting Pei Jiashu’s pheromones.
Realizing that the alpha wanted to abandon him, Lin Xi’s almond-shaped eyes were covered with a layer of mist, and he bit his lip, saying, “Don’t go.”
Pei Jiashu was shocked and hurriedly looked away.
“You’re in heat right now, it’s very dangerous if this continues. I’ll get you an inhibitor, I’ll be right back.” Pei Jiashu patiently explained to Lin Xi.
Lin Xi just looked at him blankly, then he said softly, “Then take me with you.”
Anyway, he was going to take Lin Xi back to his room. Pei Jiashu nodded, but the omega in front of him stretched out his hand to him. Pei Jiashu looked at Lin Xi in horror, “What are you doing?”
Lin Xi said, “Headache, can’t walk, carry me.”
Pei Jiashu covered his head with his hand. An omega was lying in his bed, and now he was in heat, and he said such things to him. What was this if not seduction?
His eyes gradually darkened, looking at Lin Xi inquisitively. His always upward-curving mouth was now tightly pursed into a straight line, as if he wanted to see through Lin Xi from the inside out.
But Lin Xi stubbornly kept asking Pei Jiashu for a hug.
In the end, Pei Jiashu succumbed to the increasingly strong pheromones, picked Lin Xi up by the waist. Lin Xi’s hands naturally wrapped around his neck, obediently resting on his chest.
The heat on his body was too high. Just by being close, Pei Jiashu could feel the temperature that was almost burning through him.
Putting Lin Xi on his bed, Pei Jiashu rummaged around in his room for an inhibitor.
“Where did you put the inhibitor?” Pei Jiashu couldn’t find it, so he had to ask Lin Xi, but Lin Xi just stared at him blankly, drowsy.
He grabbed a handful of his hair, his shirt already unbuttoned at the top two buttons.
Since he couldn’t find it, he could only buy it. Pei Jiashu placed an order on his phone, and someone would deliver it to him soon.
The doorbell rang. Pei Jiashu wanted to go to the door to get it, but Lin Xi, who was almost asleep, suddenly stared straight at him. Pei Jiashu was so annoyed for the first time, but out of an alpha’s self-cultivation, he could only suppress his temper and say to Lin Xi, “I’m just going to the door.”
Omegas in heat have various symptoms that vary from person to person. There are many with separation anxiety like Lin Xi, but the problem is that they are not marked AOs. How could Lin Xi have such symptoms for him?
Pei Jiashu couldn’t figure it out.
Lin Xi lowered his head and pursed his lips, his lip color appearing somewhat red and swollen due to the fever.
He couldn’t stand it anymore, picking Lin Xi up from the bed and bringing him to the door, placing him on the shoe cabinet, then opening the door and taking out the inhibitor.
He looked at Lin Xi and took out the inhibitor, “Do you want to inject it yourself or should I do it for you?”
Lin Xi looked at the needle and retreated fearfully, his body pressed against the wall. Pei Jiashu didn’t say much, walked over and pressed Lin Xi into his arms, while tearing off the gland patch on the back of Lin Xi’s neck.
Without the gland patch, the omega’s pheromones rushed out, and Pei Jiashu licked his canine teeth, suppressing his instinct to mark the omega.
Then he inserted the needle into Lin Xi’s gland. He could feel the omega’s body tremble in his arms, and his hands hugged Pei Jiashu tightly, the exhaled heat almost melting Pei Jiashu.
The liquid in the needle was pushed in little by little. For an omega in heat, injecting the inhibitor directly into the gland would suppress it faster.
The person in his arms quickly slumped down. Pei Jiashu carried Lin Xi back to his bed, looked at the dazed Lin Xi, and thought for a while before helping him tuck in the quilt.
But Lin Xi still subconsciously grabbed his hand, “Don’t go.”
Pei Jiashu was so exhausted by this tossing and turning that he was dizzy with hunger, wishing he could knock the person on the bed unconscious with a hammer.
“Omegas are just troublesome…”
Lin Xi only heard this sentence, then lost consciousness.
When he woke up, it was already almost noon the next day. After sleeping enough, he felt refreshed, but his brain began to recall what happened last night inappropriately.
Every scene, every sentence was like it had just happened, so clear in his mind that he could even rewind it at will.
Lin Xi grabbed the quilt and couldn’t help but scream a few times.
“Damn, how could I, be caught by him.” And he was so this and that to him, wouldn’t Pei Jiashu think he was deliberately seducing him?
Lin Xi felt like he was going to die just thinking about that scene.
He touched the back of his neck, which was smooth, the gland patch having been torn off by Pei Jiashu. But thanks to Pei Jiashu, nothing irreversible happened yesterday.
Lin Xi breathed a sigh of relief.
He opened his phone and found that it was already eleven o’clock, but there wasn’t a single work message in his hand.
He only found out when he asked that Assistant Song had asked for leave for him. He knew with his feet that Pei Jiashu had asked for it for him.
Lin Xi opened Pei Jiashu’s chat box, hesitating whether to thank him. He typed and deleted, deleted and typed, until his stomach, which had been hungry since last night, protested.
Forget it, I’ll talk about it after eating.
He opened the takeout app and randomly picked something to fill his stomach.
As a result, what arrived first was not the takeout, but an oversized package. The delivery man handed the slip to Lin Xi, “Are you Mr. Pei? This is the air purifier you ordered yesterday. It can clean up more than 90% of pheromones.”
Lin Xi and the delivery man looked at each other. Pei Jiashu went to buy an air purifier after taking care of him yesterday? Do his pheromones smell bad?
This was an insult to any omega.
Lin Xi took out his phone, deleted all the thank you words he had just typed, and re-entered:
Little Xi: [Pei Jiashu, you are the number one straight Alpha in the universe]
Pei Jiashu quickly replied with a message, only a “?”.
Pei: [Insulting the boss, deduct 200]
Little Xi: [I’m on leave, it doesn’t count as work, and I didn’t insult you, I’m praising you. Death smile.jpg]
Pei: [Since you’re so free, hurry up and come to work]
Lin Xi turned off his phone. The delivery man had already installed the air purifier in the living room. As soon as it was turned on, the pheromones in the room gradually disappeared.
Lin Xi snorted. Anyway, what happened yesterday was just an accident. As long as he took his medicine and injected inhibitors on time in the future, he would definitely be fine. He didn’t need Pei Jiashu’s pheromones either.
After eating, he quickly burrowed into the room to live stream. The popularity he brought yesterday was still there. His photo album had actually received 30,000 likes. He wanted to strike while the iron was hot and catch this wave of traffic.
When Pei Jiashu returned in the evening, the air purifier in the living room had been working for several hours, cleaning up the pheromone smell.
He smiled with satisfaction, but was beaten back to his original form when he saw the miserable state of the living room.
Pei Jiashu pressed his temples. The small coffee table on the sofa was now piled with Lin Xi’s takeout from noon, and the oily red sauce even dripped onto his carefully selected tabletop.
“Lin Xi!” Pei Jiashu couldn’t help but yell. The person in the room responded, “I’m live streaming, what’s the matter?”
Pei Jiashu walked to Lin Xi’s door and knocked impatiently with his knuckles. He crossed his arms over his chest, looking down at Lin Xi, who hurriedly walked out of the room.
Pointing to the living room, Lin Xi glanced at it from afar, following his line of sight.
“Why didn’t you clean up after eating?”
Lin Xi’s face turned pale. “I forgot, I’ll clean it up right away.”
Pei Jiashu looked at Lin Xi’s back and then at Lin Xi’s room. The room, which was originally like a model room, had been hung with various small decorations by Lin Xi. Just looking at it made his eyes hurt.
He originally said that after marrying Lin Xi, they would mind their own business, but he didn’t know how many times he had walked to Lin Xi’s door.
He once again doubted his previous choice.
Just then, he received a message on his phone, and his expression immediately became serious.
“Lin Xi, come home with me tomorrow night.”
