Chapter Index

    Wen Di fainted again

Wen Di sat at the edge of the bench, with his computer bag and notebook on the floor, his long fingers tapping on the laptop.

In addition to his daily responsibility for following up on clues, Wen Di also undertakes part of the work of reviewing and proofreading manuscripts every day.

After typing the last character, Wen Di’s frown finally relaxed a little.

I closed my computer and put it in my bag. I was about to get up when my vision suddenly went dark.

Then I remembered that the breakfast I bought this morning was interrupted by an urgent work before I had time to eat it.

Wen Di felt that his limbs were trembling quietly, and he tried to exert strength, but his whole body was like a punctured balloon, constantly losing strength.

His stomach was already churning. Wen Di wanted to sit up straight and lean against the wall, but as soon as he stood up, his body was pulled back by a stab of pain in his stomach: “Hiss…”

“Are you okay? Do you need help?” A cold male voice sounded. The man stood in front of Wen Di, but he leaned down and grabbed Wen Di’s hand: “Sir, I am a doctor. Do you need help? Where do you feel uncomfortable?”

Wen Di struggled to raise his eyelids and saw clearly that the person standing in front of him against the light was Lu Huaichu.

He shivered and pointed to the briefcase at his feet: “Medicine…help me…”

“Get the medicine for you? Wait a moment.” Lu Huaichu followed the direction Wen Di pointed, rummaged in the bag a few times, and took out a small medicine bottle.

He looked at the label on the medicine and said to Wendi: “You should have gastric spasms caused by hypoglycemia. Taking this medicine will put a burden on the heart. How about I give you an injection to relieve the spasms, and then hang a bottle of glucose?”

Wen Di bit his lip, his face was covered with sweat. He didn’t understand why the man in front of him was so mother-in-law. Couldn’t he see that he was about to die from pain?

    “No… no need… give me… medicine…”

Wen Di insisted again and again, but Lu Huaichu had no choice but to give up. No matter how accurate the doctor’s judgment was, he still had to follow the patient’s wishes.

Seeing Wen Di’s hands shaking like chaff, unable to unscrew the bottle cap for a long time, Lu Huaichu took it and unscrewed it, poured out a pill and handed it to Wen Di’s hand, then unscrewed his water glass and handed it over.

But the person in front of him shook his head and looked at Lu Huaichu stubbornly: “One pill… is not enough, two pills… give me two pills…”

Lu Huaichu was shocked: “This medicine has serious side effects. Two pills will affect the nervous system and immune system of the whole body. You-”

Before he finished speaking, Wen Di’s folded body suddenly began to tremble violently. He covered his mouth tightly, but the nausea in his body surged up overwhelmingly and he couldn’t suppress it at all. Lu Huaichu stood in front of him. Out of politeness and dignity, Wen Di didn’t want to vomit on him.

Tears burst out of his eyes due to the violent reaction of his body. Wen Di couldn’t help it. As if he had used up all his strength in his life, he pushed Lu Huaichu away and vomited violently. However, he had not eaten all morning and could not vomit anything except sour and smelly yellow water.

He retched mouth after mouth, and stomach acid came back up his esophagus. Wen Di felt that his nose was filled with the sour smell. He wanted to take a breath, but he accidentally choked himself, and he coughed for a moment.

Wen Di felt like he was about to fall off the bench, but he didn’t.

He lowered his head and saw that the man he had just pushed away half-circled his waist with one arm, and the other hand was on his back to help him breathe: “Sir, breathe according to my rhythm, don’t be nervous. The more nervous you are, the more uncomfortable it will be. Come on, exhale…inhale…very good…”

Wen Di felt that Dr. Lu seemed to have magical powers and quickly helped him calm down his breathing.

Moreover, he is also very good-looking, with loving peach blossom eyes staring at himself covered in filth.

    How embarrassing.

This was his last thought before losing consciousness.

When he opened his eyes again, Wen Di found himself lying in the ward.

“Are you awake? How do you feel now?” The nurse on the side noticed the movement on the bed and approached to ask.

    Not great.

Wen Di wanted to open his mouth to speak, but his throat was burning and sore. He had no choice but to shake his head to indicate that he was fine.

“You suddenly fainted after vomiting. Dr. Lu sent you here. He judged that you were suffering from a brief shock caused by stomach cramps and hypoglycemia, so he gave you a painkiller injection and glucose.” The little nurse adjusted the speed of the infusion tube, then checked the needle on the back of the flute player, and explained.

“Thank you…” Wen Di closed his eyes and recalled what happened before he fainted. Soon he felt his face burning.

It’s so embarrassing and so disgraceful!

“Doctor Lu told me that if there is no abnormal reaction in your body after you wake up, please give me your ID card and other documents, and I will help you enter the case information.”

No wonder she kept paying attention to him. Is this because she was afraid that she would run away after waking up to avoid medical expenses?

Wen Di touched his pocket and found his ID. He wanted to hand it to the nurse, but withdrew his hand: “I feel better. Where is the payment office? I’ll go by myself.”

“Well, next to the emergency department on the first floor, that handsome guy, our hospital is fully monitored.”

Sure enough, he was afraid that he would run away.

Wen Di sat up, pointed to the needle on the back of his hand, and said comfortingly: “Don’t worry, I won’t run away. I also want to thank Dr. Lu for saving his life.”

“Dr. Lu won’t be out of the clinic in the afternoon. He should be in the office.”

    “I know, thank you.”

Wen Di slowly walked out of the ward while pushing the IV pole. Except for feeling weak, everything was fine.

He quickly found the payment office following the directions on the wall. After registering and paying, he walked to the door of the office of the deputy director of the Department of Cardiology.

The information board at the door said: Lu Huaichu, on duty.

    Tuk-tuk-tuk.

Wen Di didn’t understand why she came here. She just felt that if she stayed with Dr. Lu, she would feel at ease and not have to worry about being hurt to death or fainting again.

This may be the “security” that doctors with superior medical skills can give all living beings.

No wonder those patients would rather wait in line for months to let Dr. Lu cut and slash their hearts with a knife.

    “Come in.”

Lu Huaichu was writing a paper in the office. When he heard the knock on the door, he did not raise his head from behind the computer and just answered as usual.

But after hearing the sound of a pulley entering the office, Lu Huaichu stuck his head out from behind the screen.

“Dr. Lu, thank you at noon. My name is Wen Di, and you saved my life today.”

Even if Wen Di looks pale, he will reflexively put on different masks for different people due to his occupation.

“Why did you run out? I have arranged for a nurse to help you register and pay…” Lu Huaichu frowned unconsciously as he looked at the frail person in front of him.

Banxia novel, a lot of fun
