Involuntary Symbiosis Chapter 15
byYou Really Have the Nerve
“You don’t look like you’re in any urgent distress.” Fu Yaren stood before Wang Ling, simply standing silently.
Fu Yaren looked at Wang Ling’s current alluring and seductive appearance. He was indeed more tempting than the beta he had previously used to satisfy his needs. Smelling the rich green tangerine mating pheromones in the room, he felt a sense of novelty. The absinthe pheromones on his own body couldn’t help but drift out. Wang Ling sneered.
In an instant, Wang Ling lunged onto Fu Yaren. The thick green tangerine scent hit him head-on, and Fu Yaren nearly lost his footing. However, he managed to wrap his arms around Wang Ling’s waist and instinctively lowered his head to approach Wang Ling’s scent gland. He kissed the gland, and at that moment, a searing pain felt as if it were piercing his own gland. The last time Wang Ling Marked him, he was in his susceptible period. This time, he clearly felt the humiliation of being Marked. He was enraged, pressing Wang Ling against the door. His hand gripped Wang Ling’s neck, and he questioned him word by word: “You really have the nerve.”
Wang Ling struggled to breathe under his chokehold, his face flushing even deeper. Immediately, he released a dense green tangerine scent. Fu Yaren’s hand paused, and he released Wang Ling’s neck. This alpha certainly knew how to use pheromones to control him.
Fu Yaren looked at Wang Ling, who was gasping for air. He saw the tears in his eyes, yet his gaze remained defiant. Wang Ling said, “I am an alpha, of course I want to Mark you.”
“It’s written in the agreement, even though you violated it,” Wang Ling said, wiping the tears from the corner of his eye. There was blood on the tip of his tooth—Fu Yaren’s blood—mixed with the rich absinthe pheromones. Wang Ling continued, “I am still very willing to comply.” Fu Yaren pressed Wang Ling down, his face grim. This alpha was more troublesome than he had imagined. At that moment, Wang Ling released potent mating pheromones. The green tangerine scent seemed to explode in his nostrils. The scent of absinthe immediately responded to the green tangerine fragrance. He roughly handled Wang Ling, forcing him to expose the gland hidden at the back of his neck. Like a mindless beast, he bit, licked, and kissed it.
“Since I Marked you, you can touch me now. I need you right now,” Wang Ling’s voice whispered in his ear.
Entwined and merging, the absinthe scent was indistinguishable within the green tangerine fragrance. After they finished, Fu Yaren lay beside Wang Ling. He touched the Mark on the back of his neck. This Wang Ling was truly something. Not only did he dare to Mark him, but during the act, he intentionally tightened his pheromones from time to time, deliberately making him uncomfortable. He looked at the alpha lying next to him—dissatisfied and annoyed, but deep down, he was mostly appreciative and fond. He must be crazy.
This must be due to the secretion of dopamine, combined with their naturally high compatibility.
The flush on the alpha’s face slowly faded after their fusion. A steady green tangerine scent lingered in the air. When Wang Ling closed his eyes and slept, his usual sharp and mature demeanor largely receded, making it clear that this alpha was only in his early twenties. A certain youthful innocence was revealed. Fu Yaren withdrew his gaze.
“Hmm?” Wang Ling opened his eyes. He saw Fu Yaren, then instinctively rubbed against him, saying, “The sheets are dirty. They need washing.”
“Look clearly, who am I?” Fu Yaren noticed that Wang Ling was acting strangely. Wang Ling got up and rested his chin on Fu Yaren’s shoulder. Fu Yaren heard Wang Ling whisper in his ear: “You are my enigma.”
Then, a sharp pain came from his scent gland. How could Fu Yaren not know that alphas liked to bite their partner’s gland? He pulled Wang Ling out of his embrace and asked, “Are you thinking clearly right now?”
“I know what I’m doing right now, Mr. Fu.” There was no change in Wang Ling’s eyes, and his face held a businesslike expression. He released his pheromones and said, “I know I can be temperamental, but now I need to ask you: Why aren’t you fulfilling the agreement?”
“If I hadn’t violated the agreement, I wouldn’t have come over to help you,” Fu Yaren found Wang Ling’s current state very odd. He had just explained that he could be temperamental, yet he seemed strangely lucid.
“You’re lying.” Wang Ling looked into his eyes, scrutinizing him. Then he sat down far away from Fu Yaren, ignoring him.
“I had a meeting; I couldn’t come over immediately.” Fu Yaren felt he must be insane to be explaining himself to the person in front of him. Wang Ling withdrew his pheromones, and the thick green tangerine scent in the air instantly faded, which made it difficult for Fu Yaren to adjust. A wave of irritation washed over him, and he continued to explain, “Yes, I really was in a meeting.”
“You’re lying,” Wang Ling continued. “If your meeting was truly important, Assistant Shuhua wouldn’t have replied to me saying you would be here shortly. Do you think I’ve never been a secretary?”
Fu Yaren fell silent, because it was the truth. Wang Ling was now calmly and somewhat distantly laying everything out for him. The old doctor had said that an enigma’s alpha partner would become unusually clingy and intimate during their heat, but Wang Ling’s current demeanor was clearly not that.
“Meeting you was truly unlucky for me,” Wang Ling sneered. He got up and stood in front of the wardrobe, pulling out a simple T-shirt and pants to put on, leaving Fu Yaren alone in the room.
