    Chapter 35

Half of the red robe was scattered, like lotus petals falling into the water.

Li Yuan held Ye Zhuo’s ankle, his gaze fixed on his slender and graceful calf. All was white, but the curve of his knee was faintly pink, like rouge on white porcelain, exceptionally striking.

Just moments ago, they were drawing swords and employing every means to fight to the death. Now, his opponent was like an exquisite ornament, held in his hand.

The feeling was something few in the world could likely comprehend.

His mind felt blank. But instinctively, he knew he shouldn’t use force, for fear of breaking the delicate flower branch.

    Ye Zhuo was silent.

…Sometimes he really didn’t know what this dragon was thinking.

Had he been in the sea for too long, never seen a human body, and was now so eager to study it?

——Hadn’t he seen enough in the past dozen days?

Ye Zhuo, irritated by Li Yuan’s stare, directly stepped on his abdomen.

A dragon’s body was naturally sturdy and stable. He stood firm, unmoved. Instead, something seemed to be triggered, and as Li Yuan looked at him, his pupils, which had just regained their inky blackness, began to shift back towards dark golden vertical slits.

“Ye Zhuo, are you a rabbit?” Li Yuan said calmly, “Do you know how to kick?”

It was impressive that this dragon even knew about rabbits.

Ye Zhuo: “Seeing you displeases me.”

Li Yuan laughed. Releasing his knee, he bent down and picked him up: “Then don’t look.”

Not seeing him was certainly good.

But to be restrained from behind, his waist encircled by his arms, kissed meticulously from the side of his neck to his shoulder blades…

His own hair was already disheveled and scattered, and the other’s slightly cool long hair brushed against the skin tainted by the Dragon Scent Guide now and then.

    …It felt even more uncomfortable.

Ye Zhuo suppressed his involuntary pants and rises, his fingers gripping Li Yuan’s wrist, trying to break free, but the dragon covered them with his other hand.

“Don’t be afraid,” Li Yuan said in his ear.

Having said that, he kissed his earlobe again.

Who would be afraid? Anyway, he wouldn’t die.

It was just that this dragon was taking an inch and wanting a mile, and he really couldn’t be trusted. Ye Zhuo wouldn’t take such hypocritical words to heart.

He could only pant, his fingers unable to break free, weakly releasing and then gripping Li Yuan’s wrist again.

His body weakened as if he wanted to fall forward, but he was gathered up by Li Yuan, who wanted him to lean on his chest and shoulders.

In the chaotic thoughts, that shred of clear consciousness, besides running the cultivation method, could no longer process anything else. Even so, he was disturbed by this dragon, interrupted several times.

Whenever his Spiritual Energy circulation became somewhat scattered, that stream of Spiritual Energy from Li Yuan, like a vast ocean, would envelop him and guide him back to the correct path.

…Perhaps he really has restrained himself somewhat. In the intermittent blankness, Ye Zhuo thought.

“Are you alright?” After another instance of Spiritual Energy collapse, Li Yuan turned his face and asked him.

His hair was disheveled and fell haphazardly, and Ye Zhuo shook his head in despair.

——Seeing this appearance, all of Li Yuan’s thoughts were suddenly drawn in again.

…He could still run the cultivation method, still take care of this person’s feelings, Li Yuan really admired himself. Now, he was impressed with himself.

Using his astonishing will to barely control himself, allowing this person to recover a little, Li Yuan placed him gently on the cold jade bed.

His long hair was scattered, and this person’s body, like his scattered red robe, lay limply. His fingers gripped tightly onto his.

Li Yuan took a deep breath, trying to bring his thoughts back to the operation of the cultivation method.

    …But it was completely impossible.

In the hazy, scattered vision, Ye Zhuo saw Li Yuan’s pupils.

There seemed to be specks of glittering starlight, but they were also very deep.

Initially, the blank consciousness wasn’t enough for him to understand what it was. But the longer he looked, it seemed that he was about to be drawn into those dark golden vertical pupils with their surging undercurrents, falling into the empty, boundless sea.

…So it was Dragon Li Yuan’s eyes, Ye Zhuo thought slowly.

They really were different from a human’s.

His wrist was weak, and he tentatively lifted it a few times, but in the end, he could only place it on Li Yuan’s shoulder.

His movements were seen by Li Yuan.

“What are you looking at?” Li Yuan asked.

    “…Eyes.”

Li Yuan took his wrist and placed it closer to his own eyes.

“In humanoid form, I can actually have dragon horns. Do you want to see them?” After saying that, Li Yuan added, “But, you can’t touch them.”

Adult dragons didn’t seem to like others touching their dragon horns, whether in their original form or semi-humanoid form. Li Yuan vaguely knew this. When his elders taught him, they had never touched them either.

Ye Zhuo’s scattered pupils tried to focus several times, and finally seemed to understand the meaning of his words.

He breathed lightly a few times and nodded.

Inky jade and flowing gold, the dragon horns slowly materialized from between Li Yuan’s inky black long hair.

…They weren’t very long, because this wasn’t a very old ink dragon.

But they were beautiful. More graceful than deer antlers, somewhat like sea coral, but more severe than coral, without so many branches.

That shape, for no reason, felt a little dangerous.

Like a uniquely shaped, ethereal, and piercing sword.

Ye Zhuo subconsciously raised his hand to touch where the dragon horns grew.

    An unexpected sensation.

…They actually carried a hint of warmth.

He only felt that the moment he touched them, the dragon’s body seemed to tense up immediately.

    Li Yuan: “…”

He now knew why dragons didn’t like others touching their horns.

“Don’t touch,” Li Yuan’s voice seemed much hoarser.

But Ye Zhuo’s gaze was drawn to the sharp, beautiful tips of the dragon horns, and his fingers gently touched the seemingly translucent edge.

His palms and wrists naturally brushed against the tips of several small branches below.

Li Yuan really couldn’t bear it any longer!

——This person was doing as he pleased, did he think no one could control him anymore?

“You’re really asking for it,” Li Yuan gritted his teeth, holding this person tightly in his arms again.

Suddenly restrained, Ye Zhuo instinctively gripped that section of the dragon horn.

It was like a natural instinct to seek the protection of his Life-Bound Sword.

But why did this dragon suddenly go crazy? Wasn’t he just fine before?

A brief question surfaced in his sea of consciousness.

——Then, his consciousness was swept away and engulfed in the stormy waves of a vast ocean, and he could no longer know what time it was or where he was.

Li Yuan felt that Ye Zhuo seemed to be about to cry again.

So he kissed his cheeks again and again, taking it as comfort, but without the slightest intention of letting him go.

In the chaos, this person finally seemed unable to bear it and began to struggle, wanting to get away from here, to retreat.

However, he could handle it when fighting with swords, and mere punches and kicks were not to be feared.

“Ye Zhuo, don’t be afraid,” he said in the other’s ear, “Nothing will happen.”

Finally, in those misty eyes, the last bit of clarity dissipated in such words.

He could only breathe lightly, those eyes looking at him blankly, as if seeking help. He could barely be touched anymore; if a finger touched his body, it would unconsciously bring about a slight tremble. Li Yuan held that ripple-like tremor in his arms.

As for the cultivation method, he had finally managed to run it almost to the end this time, but it naturally dissipated completely.

The dragon horns had long been put away by Li Yuan.

With this experience, presumably this person would never be so reckless again.

When Ye Zhuo woke up, he couldn’t clearly remember what had happened.

He only felt that this dragon was really getting worse and taking an inch and wanting a mile!

He had almost finished running the cultivation method, but he just had to go crazy. Did he not want to cultivate at all?

Unfortunately, the murderous intent in his eyes was not seen by Li Yuan. Right now, this dragon was holding him from behind, his fingers resting on his abdomen.

Such contact made Ye Zhuo feel that it was a bit too much.

Ye Zhuo: “What are you doing?”

Hearing this, Li Yuan not only didn’t let go but instead gently pressed his palm against his abdomen.

“Do you know, sometimes you can feel it here…”

    “Feel what?”

“Forget it,” Li Yuan kissed his hair, “I’ll tell you next time.”

Ye Zhuo directly closed his eyes to regulate his breathing, ignoring him.

This dragon was really getting weirder and weirder.
