Chapter 13: Egg

Lin Sui was like a little hamster, puffing out his cheeks and wanting to take everything. He grabbed a bit of this and a bit of that. By the time he got into bed, his little backpack was stuffed full. He even had a hopeful smile on his face as he slept.

The next day at six o’clock, Lin Sui woke up on time according to his biological clock. He dazedly sat wrapped in his blanket for a while before slowly regaining his senses, his gaze gradually clearing as he looked at the unfamiliar room.

Gu Nian’s Adam’s apple bobbed. He coldly looked away and wheeled his wheelchair to the dining table.

Before long, Lin Sui came over with two bowls of noodles, bringing two pairs of chopsticks with him, and sat down to eat seriously.

The fragrance was as tempting as it was yesterday, but Gu Nian was a little absent-minded. He would take a few bites and then glance at Lin Sui across from him, becoming more and more unable to figure out what this person was thinking.

Lin Sui always ate very seriously, not looking up or speaking, so he was completely unaware of Gu Nian’s scrutiny.

When he put away his phone, Gu Nian had already returned to his cold expression, thinking that this was what they had agreed on yesterday. He had not reached the point where he had to force a student to earn money to support him.

He just didn’t want to break his promise.
