Chapter 51 Can Hanhan have a kiss?

The sun shines through the clouds on the street, spreading a layer of soft warm light, and the wind blows through the treetops with a slight sound, dispelling some of the coolness.

When Xie Shuhan walked out of the police station door, his phone vibrated slightly in his pocket. He raised his hand and took it out. The word “Ajin” jumped on the screen and was particularly eye-catching.

His fingertips crossed the answer button, and he put the phone against his ear. His voice softened unconsciously: “Ajin.”

Lu Jin’s slightly lazy voice came from the other end of the phone. In the background, you could faintly hear the sound of paper turning. He was obviously dealing with business, but he still couldn’t hide the clinging warmth: “Hanhan, what are you doing?”

At this moment, in the top-floor office of Lu Group, the bustling city skyline is visible outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Sunlight shines in through the huge glass windows and falls on the mountains of documents.

Lu Jin was sitting behind a large desk, his former casualness gone. His silver hair was still flamboyant, but he had a more calm aura.

He was holding the phone in one hand and resting it on the document with the other hand. His fingertips lightly tapped the paper. His eyes fell on the report on the screen, but most of his thoughts were on the person on the other end of the phone.

Ever since Lu Weiting gradually handed over the company’s affairs to him, he has been much busier than before.

Especially after the news spread this morning that the Yun Group officially declared bankruptcy, various partners took notice and came to the door with cooperation plans.

When he left home this morning, Xie Shuhan was still sleeping peacefully, his long eyelashes were drooping slightly, and he looked docile and good-looking. He really couldn’t bear to disturb him.

She could only lean over and kiss his forehead and lips gently several times before leaving reluctantly.

“I just came to the police station to make a note.” Xie Shuhan walked slowly along the street, scanning the green plants on the side of the road, and responded calmly, without any strangeness in his tone.

When Lu Jin heard this, a trace of worry flashed across his eyes, and the laziness in his voice faded a bit, becoming more serious: “Do you want me to pick you up?”

He wished he could immediately put down all the documents on hand and fly to Xie Shuhan’s side to make sure that he was safe and sound before resting.

“It’s okay, it’s been solved. No need to come here.” Xie Shuhan felt the concern in his words, and his heart warmed, and his voice became softer, “What about you? Are you still busy?”

When it came to work, Lu Jin couldn’t help but sigh. He could hear a bit of grievance through the phone. He looked like a silver-haired puppy trapped by trivial matters. His tone was deliberately coquettish and soft: “I’m trapped in the office with a pile of documents. It’s almost impossible to see anyone. I’m so busy that I don’t even have time to drink water. I’m so tired.”

As he spoke, there was a bit of anticipation hidden in his eyes, waiting for Xie Shuhan’s comfort.

Listening to his grievances, Xie Shuhan unconsciously revealed a faint smile at the corner of his mouth. Warmth spread down his heart, and he said softly: “Thank you for your hard work, Ajin.”

The words are short, but full of care and distress. There are no unnecessary embellishments, but they are more reassuring than any gorgeous words.

Lu Jin was instantly healed by these simple words, and most of the fatigue in his heart dissipated. His eyes lit up, and the grievance in his tone was instantly replaced by joy, with a hint of hidden expectation: “Then I’ve worked so hard, can you give Hanhan a kiss? Just one.”

Hearing this, Xie Shuhan’s cheeks felt slightly hot, and he subconsciously slowed down his pace. A faint blush appeared on his ears. He was silent for a moment, and then said softly: “Waiting for you to come back.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he hung up the phone gently and put the phone back into his pocket. His fingertips could still feel the residual temperature of the screen, and the heat on his cheeks lingered for a long time.

He shook his head helplessly, his eyes full of connivance. What else could his boyfriend do other than just go along with it.

Lu Jin, who was on the other end of the phone, was stunned when he heard the busy signal from the receiver. Then he realized what Xie Shuhan meant, and instantly smiled, and the fatigue just now completely disappeared.

How can Hanhan be so nice? I like him so much and want to hug him so much.

He hummed a tune in a good mood, turned to the door and shouted: “Assistant Wang, bring in all the remaining documents, all of them!”

Soon, Wang Li walked into the office with a thick stack of documents in her arms. She saw the smile that could not be concealed on Lu Jin’s face, and her eyes were full of doubts.

In the past, when Mr. Lu handled these documents, although he was not perfunctory, he was still a little impatient and would occasionally complain.

Not only did he not say a single word of complaint today, but he actively asked for all the documents and smiled so happily, which was really abnormal.

Confused, Wang Li gently put the documents on the desk, said respectfully, “Mr. Lu, the documents are all here,” and then quietly left, for fear of disturbing the happy boss.

Lu Jin looked at the documents piled up on the table. Instead of feeling irritated, he was very motivated.

He took advantage of Wang Li’s departure and took out his cell phone to quickly send a message to Lu Weiting. His tone was straightforward and a bit willful: “Old man Lu, come back from outside quickly and deal with this mess in the company. Don’t leave it all to me.”

Not long after, Lu Weiting’s message came back with a bit of ridicule: “Didn’t I leave it to you a long time ago? You can’t handle this matter well?”

When Lu Jin saw the reply, he raised his eyebrows and snorted, tapping the screen with his fingers quickly: “I’m going to chase my wife, and I don’t have time to waste time with these documents.”

This time, Lu Weiting responded faster, and his words were full of disgust: “With your temperament, does anyone still like you?”

Lu Jin was instantly laughed out of anger and immediately used his trump card: “Okay, I will call Ms. Tan to complain, saying that you belittled her son and said that no one wants her son.”

Ms. Tan has always loved him the most, and if he files a complaint, Lu Weiting will definitely not get any good results.

After sending this message, Lu Jin put away his phone, ignored Lu Weiting’s reply, and focused all his attention on the documents on the table.

He raised his hand, picked up the pen, and started reading carefully, his eyes focused, and his speed was much faster than before.

The tip of the pen quickly crossed over the document and signed his name. Every movement was crisp and clean. He just wanted to finish all the matters as soon as possible and go to Xie Shuhan as soon as possible.

The sun gradually slanted westward and fell through the glass window on his serious profile. His silver hair had a soft luster. His eyes, which used to be a bit unruly, were now full of concentration. He occasionally raised his hand to rub his sore eyes, but there was still expectation in his eyes.

While he was processing the documents, he was thinking in his mind. After processing these, he would go buy Xie Shuhan’s favorite food, and then go find him to give him a hug and a comforting kiss of his own.
