Chapter Index

Suspected early prototype of water bed

Wan Qiongju didn’t know what happened and was so surprised that she didn’t know how to ask.

In the morning, Qiu Yin’an was raising a knife to chop him, but it turned out like this before the sun set. He didn’t know what kind of virtue he had accumulated, and he could be held by Qiu Yin’an so quickly.

“Master, what makes you unhappy? Let me help you solve it.”

Qiu Yin’an raised his head and looked at Wan Qiongju, whose face was full of happiness at the moment. His heart hurt as if he had been bitten by the fangs of a wild beast.

The soul in front of him really loved him as much as his life, and he really gave his life to him.

As he watched, tears ran out of Qiu Yin’an’s eyes that had never dried up. He asked: “What is the difference between a soul with advanced cultivation and a living person?”

The sweet smile on Wan Qiongju’s face suddenly froze, and he asked tentatively: “Master, why do you suddenly ask this?”

Qiu Yin’an raised his hand and pinched the back of Wan Qiongju’s hand gently, “What do you think? Why didn’t you tell me earlier? Wouldn’t I be sad if you kept it from me?”

Wan Qiongju’s eyebrows were lowered, “Yao Ye said that?”

Qiu Yin’an ordered in a voice hoarse from crying: “You are not allowed to embarrass him.”

“Okay, I’ll listen to you.” Wan Qiongju gently wiped Qiu Yin’an’s tears with his fingertips, “If I didn’t tell you, you wouldn’t cry like this. I don’t want you to cry for me.”

“But I almost didn’t want you.” As soon as the words came out, Qiu Yin’an’s tears rushed out like water from a floodgate.

Wan Qiongju held Qiu Yin’an’s face and coaxed, “No, I won’t let you abandon me.”

Qiu Yin’an thought of all his doubts and suspicions about Wan Qiongju, and Zhu Jian’s determination to be irreconcilable with Wan Qiongju. He really wanted to call himself a beast.

There was no one in the world who was nicer to him than the person in front of him. He almost pushed him away with his own hands and ruined the bright future that Wan Qiongju had sacrificed his life for the two of them.

“I was really wrong. I was so cruel. I’m sorry for you. I deserve to die.” Qiu Yin’an bit her lip and lowered her head in shame, not daring to look at Wan Qiongju. “How should I repay you for all this?”

“I don’t want you to repay me. If you love me, I’m willing to do it. If you don’t love me, I’m still willing to do it.” Wan Qiongju held her in her arms and comforted her, “As long as everything goes well for you, I’m willing to give you everything I owe you. I’ll pay you back everything I owe Qiu.”

“You don’t owe me.” Qiu Yin’an raised his arms and hugged Wan Qiongju’s waist, “I owe you.”

Qiu Yin’an cried for a long time, until a gorgeous sunset appeared on the horizon. Wan Qiongju stayed with him to comfort him.

Under the afterglow of the setting sun, it shines on the two of you and is reflected on the board of the boat, but you are the only one.

Qiu Yin’an lowered his head and stared at his own shadow in a daze for a long time, and then said with regret: “You have no shadow anymore.”

Wan Qiongju looked at Qiu Yin’an’s shadow and said, “I do. He is hiding behind you quietly and has been following you.”

A wry smile appeared on Qiu Yin’an’s lips, “Then follow closely and never leave.”

Wan Qiongju shouted softly behind Qiu Yin’an: “Did you hear that? You must follow closely.”

Qiu Yin’an chuckled and rubbed Wan Qiongju’s head, “That’s silly.”

He was full of anxiety and asked: “So how is a soul with a high level of cultivation like yours different from when you were a human being?”

“There is no difference.” Wan Qiongju replied freely, and he took Qiu Yin’an’s little finger and gently shook it to persuade him, “Master, don’t worry about me. If Yao Ye doesn’t tell me, Master has not seen that I am a human being and a soul. So as long as my cultivation is high enough and I am a human being and a soul, it is pretty much the same.”

Qiu Yin’an still asked with a worried look, “But I heard that if the soul’s five senses are incomplete, there is always something missing, so what are you missing?”

Wan Qiongju was silent for a moment, “I am very satisfied to be able to see your face, hear your voice, and feel your warmth.”

Qiu Yin’an felt sour, “So your nose can’t smell, and your tongue can’t taste anything?”

“Yeah.” Wan Qiongju joked, pretending to be relaxed: “Fortunately, I can’t smell or taste it. If I lose all consciousness, what will you and I do in the future?”

Wan Qiongju tried hard to coax him, but Qiu Yin’an didn’t want to waste his efforts. He endured his sore nose, forced a smiling face, squinted his eyes and scanned Wan Qiongju’s lower body, “Are you okay now?”

Wan Qiongju picked him up excitedly, let Qiu Yin sit on his lap, and kissed him on the back of his head.

The kiss was long and heavy. After the two separated, Wan Qiongju looked at Qiu Yin’an’s misty eyes with blurred eyes, “I don’t know if it will work. Master, can you try with me?”

Qiu Yin’an’s breathing was chaotic, but he still had sense, “This is on the boat.”

Hearing his words, Wan Qiongju became even more excited. He waved his hand to create a barrier, then whispered in Qiu Yin’an’s ear: “We’re going to be on the boat.”
