Chapter Index

    I hope Xiaowan is safe

Qiu Yin’an felt anxious as if he was being burned by fire. He kept praying that nothing would happen to Wan Qiongju.

He was galloping all the way, with wind blowing under his feet. At one moment he felt that time was passing too fast, which made him feel flustered, and at another moment he felt that time was passing too slowly, making him extremely tormented.

Qiu Yin’an’s conflict was resolved after Wan Qiongju returned to his sight.

When Qiu Yin’an arrived, he saw Wan Qiongju, Jian Fan and Chang Chuan encircling each other to fight against Bai Chengying.

    Bai Chengying is indeed amazing.

Chang Chuan and Jian Fan are the guardians in front of the great shaman. These two people use magic power to maintain their youthful appearance. They look like they are in the prime of their youth, but in fact they have been practicing for more than a hundred years.

Over hundreds of years, even stubborn stones can be polished into beautiful jade. It is self-evident that their cultivation is high.

Bai Chengying can fight one against three and deal with it calmly, which shows his strength.

Qiu Yin’an was afraid at first that he had just agreed to Wan Qiongju and let him face Bai Chengying alone. Fortunately, there were two helpers who fell from the sky.

Qiu Yin’an flew to Wan Qiongju’s side and touched his back. At that moment, he felt Wan Qiongju’s breath, and his panic finally subsided.

“Master, has Chen Liang been solved?” Wan Qiongju had not yet finished forming the seal and twisting the talisman.

“Yes.” Qiu Yin’an responded, his eyes quickly scanning Wan Qiongju from head to toe, “Are you injured?”

Wan Qiongju saw from the corner of his eye that Qiu Yin’an’s robe had been dyed bright red, and his voice suddenly became panicked, “Are you injured?”

“I’m fine, this is Chen Liang’s blood.” Qiu Yin’an stared closely at Bai Chengying, the most difficult enemy to fight, and raised his sword, ready to attack, “I will discuss this with you in detail when I get back.”

“My master, is he dead?” Bai Chengying exerted his strength suddenly and broke free from the oppression of Chang Chuan and Jian Fan. He looked dazed for a moment, but soon, the slight sadness between his eyebrows was blown away by the cold wind outside.

Qiu Yin’an and Chen Liang, one is the person he loves deeply but always desires, and the other is his mentor. If one of them must die, Bai Chengying’s heart seems to be uncontrollably biased towards Qiu Yin’an’s survival.

The slight heaviness in Bai Chengying’s heart disappeared with a sigh. Soon, he realized a thorny problem. Without Chenliang, he alone could not compete with Qiu Yin’an who had the soul protection lamp. What’s more, Jian Fan and Chang Chuan, two troublesome witch cultivators, also got involved, and Wan Qiongju, whom he hated deeply, was still unscathed.

Bai Chengying was stunned by Wan Qiongju’s provocation. Now that the two levels have reversed, he is in a difficult situation.

Qiu Yin’an stepped forward, pointed the sharpest two blades in his hand at Bai Chengying, and said in a cold voice: “Chen Liang is dead. You hand over Yao Ye and the others, and I will spare your life.”

Bai Chengying sneered and put the long sword in his hand across his chest, “Yin’an, don’t worry about the lives of Yao Ye and his two siblings. First, think about why these two Wu clan monks are so concerned about your good disciples. Without them, Wan Qiongju would have been stabbed into clay by my Lian Xing.”

Changchuan took a sip, “How can you tell that we care about him? We are afraid that you will save Chenliang.”

Jian Fan turned a deaf ear to Bai Chengying’s words. He looked past Wan Qiongju and looked at Qiu Yin’an, “I heard that Chen Liang’s magic power has not been suppressed?”

Qiu Yin’an replied in a deep voice: “I guess Chenliang lied about his birth date when he entered the school. What I saw on the sect’s jade certificate was fake. But fortunately, Haidi beside him turned against him and helped me.”

Changchuan frowned and glanced at Qiu Yin’an displeasedly, “That’s good, we can be considered cooperative at least. You started in such a hasty way without even saying a word. Fortunately, Chenliang didn’t escape.”

Bai Chengying felt like thunder exploded in his mind. His pupils trembled slightly and he looked at Qiu Yin’an in disbelief, “You actually colluded with the witch cultivator?”

“No, it’s just that Chen Liang is the person we all want to get rid of.” Qiu Yin’an replied indifferently, “This is not an issue you should be concerned about now. Please tell me the whereabouts of Yao Ye and the others, otherwise don’t blame me for not missing our old friendship.”

Qiu Yin’an never thought that one day he would say such things to Bai Chengying, whom he once trusted and even relied on. His fate was really unexpected.

Bai Chengying’s eyes scanned Wan Qiongju’s body warily, and then his eyes fell back on Qiu Yin’an, “Yin’an, if you have not colluded with the witch cultivator, I want to remind you that Wan Qiongju is probably the person specially selected by the witch cultivator to confuse you, or that the witch cultivator gave him some benefits.”

“I personally brought him back from Wan Zong Mountain, and he has a clean background.” Qiu Yin’an’s jaw tightened into a confident and slightly arrogant arc, and he said slowly: “The shaman cultivator lineage has long been lonely and is not as good as before. There is nothing in this world that they can promise him that I can’t.”

He held the sword in his hand and paused for a long time, “I can’t think of it.”

“That’s all, you don’t believe it.” Bai Chengying lowered his shoulders and lowered the arm holding the sword. But as soon as the sword fell, he raised the sword again to attack. The sword was so fast that no one present could react.

The sword stabbed straight at Wan Qiongju’s left neck. The sword energy was like a waterfall, burning with dazzling silver cold light. Qiu Yin stood on Wan Qiongju’s right side and immediately flew to save him, but in the end he was a step too late.

Jian Fan’s witch flag unfolded, and waves of golden and black light surged out, forming a light shield in front of Wan Qiongju, protecting him.

Bai Chengying had a successful smile on his lips. He did not continue the attack, but gathered his forces and retreated. “Yin’an, your rebuttals are all reasonable, but see for yourself? Are Wu Xiu and the others good-hearted people? Why should they save Wan Qiongju? Could it be that they also fall in love with his beauty?”

Qiu Yin’an’s eyebrows trembled slightly. He glanced at Wan Qiongju and saw that his face was as calm as usual.

Qiu Yin’an said nothing and protected the person behind him, “Bai Chengying, stop instigating and hand over Yao Ye. I will give you a way out and also give all the disciples of Wanyun Pavilion a way out.”

“I don’t care about their lives.” Bai Chengying sneered, and then the ends of his eyes twitched twice bitterly, “The only one I care about from the beginning to the end is you, but you are blind.”

Bai Chengying scolded unwillingly, “You are a beauty but you are so miserable. You were tricked by a young boy. You are so embarrassed. Qiu Yin’an, why can’t you like me?”

“Stop talking nonsense.” Qiu Yin’an activated the soul-protecting lamp, the golden light in his palms lit up, and the two swords were filled with spiritual power. He swung them towards Bai Chengying.

Bai Chengying had no intention of accepting the attack. Instead, he dragged the Lian Xing Sword and turned it half a circle in his palm. He tapped his feet lightly and flew up, landing firmly on the sword.

Bai Chengying was trying to escape with his sword. Qiu Yin’an looked at Bai Chengying’s figure and had no intention of pursuing him. With Bai Chengying’s sword-wielding skills, chasing was futile.

I have to admit that Bai Chengying’s words made Qiu Yin’an a little upset. He looked back at Xiao Wan, and the two shaman cultivators Jian Fan and Chang Chuan, with a hint of boredom in his roar. He asked Wan Qiongju in a low voice, “Why are the two of them here?”
