Forced To Become The Devil’S Succubus Lover Chapter 8
byChapter 8: Drugged?
As expected, succubi are a bunch of depraved creatures.
The disgust in Su Sheng’s eyes flashed and vanished.
“Where is Loren?”
“Very good, it seems you have made your choice.” Sala looked satisfied and nodded toward someone nearby. A servant immediately came over to lead Su Sheng to Loren.
The servant stopped outside a bedroom door. Su Sheng pushed the door open and saw Loren’s staff placed to one side, while Loren himself lay quietly on the bed, hands folded.
Looking at him like this, he seemed slightly more pleasing to the eye?
He only glanced once and realized the other party had likely been given a sleeping draught, so he walked over unhurriedly.
A face that was overly flushed came into view, the thin lips red as if bleeding. Su Sheng noticed this subtle abnormality, frowned, and pressed the back of his hand to his own forehead, then to Loren’s.
This action seemed to flip a switch. The moment Su Sheng touched Loren’s forehead, Loren opened his eyes.
Su Sheng withdrew his hand, intending to ask Loren what was going on, but unexpectedly, Loren grabbed his arm and pulled him back. Unprepared, Su Sheng was yanked forward uncontrollably.
His head bumped against Loren’s chest, his forehead pressed against Loren’s skin. The scorching heat quickly climbed from the point of contact up to his earlobes.
Su Sheng’s body stiffened. The surroundings suddenly became extremely quiet; even their breathing was clearly audible. The movements seemed to slow down frame by frame. Hot breath sprayed along his neck, cheek, and finally, his lips.
A sense of danger climbed from his spine to the top of his head. He shivered, instantly snapping back to awareness.
“What are you doing?!”
Su Sheng looked up, glaring, while trying to push himself up to create distance, only to find his forearm tightly gripped.
The Loren in front of him was clearly extremely wrong. Recalling Sala’s earlier words, Su Sheng’s expression darkened.
“To use drugs—how despicable…”
Due to that moment of slackness, a pair of iron-like arms clamped around him. The heat radiating from all directions felt like a small furnace, and Su Sheng felt his cheeks growing slightly warm.
But mostly, he felt annoyance.
“Loren, wake up!” Su Sheng shouted.
The man held him tightly, kissing him haphazardly, unwilling to let go.
When the man’s lips were about to land on Su Sheng’s, he violently turned his head away.
A trace of warmth brushed past his cheek.
At this moment, the man opened a pair of azure eyes, looking at him with an expression that was pure and innocent.
Su Sheng held his breath, stuck between inhaling and exhaling. The fist in his hand tightened and loosened, tightened and loosened. His expression was conflicted. After a moment, as if he thought of something, he finally restrained himself.
The white wall was not far behind Loren. There was only one way to escape.
Su Sheng raised his foot and kicked hard.
The kick was extremely powerful. Loren’s back hit the wall with a loud bang, followed by a muffled groan. The hands restraining Su Sheng subconsciously loosened, and Su Sheng quickly pulled away.
The dangerous sensation gradually faded, but the lingering warmth on his skin seemed to remain, refusing to dissipate.
Su Sheng’s face was slightly red, and his hair was messy. Usually meticulous and composed, he was now disheveled, the bruises on his arms making him look utterly wretched. His pair of dark eyes were misty, inviting speculation from anyone who saw him.
If there had been a mirror at that moment, Su Sheng would have turned around and killed Loren without hesitation.
But there was no mirror in the bedroom.
To prevent detection, Su Sheng used a shielding spell to isolate the room. Then, while dodging the lunging Loren, he tried to figure out a solution.
He needed something to fix Loren in place before he could cast the spell to break the drug’s effect.
A wisp of wind leaked through the window crack, causing the light-blocking curtain to billow.
His peripheral vision caught the curtain. Moments later, Loren was hog-tied on the floor. Su Sheng looked down at him indifferently. The usually elegant man was now panting heavily, his bloodshot eyes staring fixedly at Su Sheng, like a starving beast.
But no matter how fierce the beast, it could only struggle on the floor now.
Su Sheng closed his eyes and silently chanted a spell. A golden light enveloped Loren’s body. Simultaneously, some green dust dispersed from Loren, and his demeanor gradually calmed.
When Loren opened his eyes again, his gaze met Su Sheng’s.
An awkward silence spread through the bedroom, so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Su Sheng’s body was stiff. He slowly, inch by inch, shifted his gaze away, his earlobes slightly flushed with embarrassment.
Loren, however, seemed unfazed, having recovered his usual polite demeanor. But if Su Sheng had looked closely, he would have seen the lingering amusement in Loren’s eyes.
Loren casually glanced around and said, “Did you cast a shielding spell?”
Su Sheng: “…”
As if sensing that Su Sheng was in a terrible mood, the man looked innocent and sounded wronged: “After you left, they came and knocked me out.”
Su Sheng: “…”
“Do you know how to obtain the representative item for the fourth City-State?”
This time, Su Sheng did not remain silent, but spoke with a hint of gritted teeth: “…I know.”
Loren sounded very interested: “Oh? How do you get it?”
Su Sheng absolutely could not bring himself to say the requirement Sala had mentioned, so he remained silent.
Loren didn’t mind. He casually scanned the surroundings, found a place that was still sit-able, and sat down, hands folded. A hint of mockery was hidden in his eyes:
“Hmm, let me guess. He sent people to knock me out, then drugged me, and then sent you over. And judging by appearances, you came willingly. Is it related to obtaining the representative item?”
Su Sheng: “…”
“It seems so.” Loren said slowly. “Let me guess again. He wants us to copulate?”
Su Sheng’s face was terribly grim: “……………………………………….”
After enjoying Su Sheng’s embarrassment for a moment, Loren chuckled softly: “You are truly too pure.”
Then Loren was shot a side-eye.
“Serving the God of Light naturally requires purity.”
Su Sheng’s tone was completely flat, but hearing it somehow felt irritating.
Loren’s expression turned slightly unpleasant.
After a while, Loren casually glanced around and kindly reminded him, “Your shielding spell is about to fail.”
Su Sheng glanced over.
Indeed.
He glanced again.
The bed in the bedroom had collapsed. The curtains, fabric and rods alike, were lying on the floor. Some were even reduced to shreds of cloth. The scene was simply horrific.
Su Sheng’s head started throbbing again.
Loren picked up a strip of cloth nearby, tugged it hard, and said with a malicious look paired with a smiling expression, “I have an idea.”
Looking at Loren’s smiling face, Su Sheng knew nothing good would come of it.
After all, that was how Loren had coaxed him into transforming into a succubus last time, yet the truth was Loren himself wasn’t very good at pretending to be a Necromancer.
After all, how could a normal Necromancer be knocked out and drugged by a group of succubi?!
What a clumsy excuse!
Su Sheng thought angrily. If he hadn’t witnessed Loren’s record of fighting dozens of opponents without defeat, he might actually have believed this man whose tone and expression were impeccable.
When Sala pushed the door open, he saw this scene—
The flushed-faced “Lori” was securely bound by his hands and suspended in mid-air. Vivid red marks were hidden beneath the cloth strips. Loren stood with his back to him, fiddling with something using his staff.
Even Sala, the Succubus City Lord, was startled. He looked once and then looked again.
Good heavens, destroying the bedroom like this—he played even rougher than Sala did…
When his gaze shifted to Loren, the Succubus City Lord bowed his head slightly, a look of respect faintly visible on his face.
—My King, I hope you enjoy this gift I have presented.
Su Sheng slowly opened his eyes, his gaze hazy, as if he had just woken up. He coughed twice before clearing his mind and asked, “Can you let me down first?”
Once down, Su Sheng rubbed his sore wrists. His pair of purple eyes looked at Sala and said, “I have fulfilled the promise I made to the City Lord. It is time for the City Lord to fulfill his, correct?”
Sala looked around at the messy bedroom and slowly smiled. “Of course.”
After gathering all the City-States’ representative items, they headed directly toward the deepest part of The Abyss, as the Demon King’s castle was located there, and so was the Silver Star Orchid.
The closer they got to the castle, the denser the dark energy became. Su Sheng could clearly feel uncomfortable, and the Light energy within him was being suppressed.
The man beside him seemed to notice and asked with concern, “Are you feeling unwell?”
Su Sheng hesitated. The dark energy here was several times denser than the outer Abyss, which indeed made him feel very oppressed, making even breathing a little difficult. So he nodded, preparing to find a place to sit down.
Loren: “Wait.”
Su Sheng paused and turned his head to look at Loren.
Loren placed a soft cushion on a nearby stone, offering a concerned smile:
“Sit here. You need better rest.”
Su Sheng frowned, but still walked toward the stone.
If he had turned his head at that moment, he would have seen Loren’s contemptuous gaze, like looking at a lamb about to fall into a trap, carrying a hint of bored cruelty.
Su Sheng walked toward the stone with the soft cushion. At the same time, the Demon King watched silently, the corners of his mouth curving into a triumphant arc.
However, in the next moment, the Demon King watched as Su Sheng walked past the stone without stopping, heading forward.
The smile instantly froze on his face. The Demon King looked astonished.
Su Sheng said coldly:
“Loren, I don’t think our relationship warrants you going out of your way, does it?”
“After all, we are only allies, and temporary ones at that.”
The atmosphere solidified. After a moment, the Demon King concealed the amusement in his eyes and chuckled softly:
“Fine.”
