Forced To Become The Devil’S Succubus Lover Chapter 27
byChapter 27 “Have you had enough of taking advantage?”
Su Sheng didn’t know if Loren noticed his abnormality in that instant, but when the man walked towards him, he casually wiped the water droplets from his hands.
“What are you spacing out about?”
“Nothing.”
Only he knew that no matter how calm he pretended to be, he couldn’t hide the strange feeling that flashed through him.
In the afternoon, back at the academy, he sat below while Loren stood at the podium lecturing on the history of world magic development.
The little chubby boy next to him was dozing off, his head bobbing, saliva almost dripping into a puddle.
Su Sheng noticed something—only during Loren’s lectures was the crowd completely silent; even if they weren’t listening, they wouldn’t talk. The little chubby boy next to him was a prime example; in other classes, he would chatter incessantly, even though Su Sheng never responded to him.
The class time passed quickly. Loren stepped down from the podium; he had another class to teach, so Su Sheng didn’t go up to find him.
Instead, Bia brought over another stack of books.
Noticing Su Sheng’s gaze, Bia smiled as he approached: “These books aren’t for you, they are for lesson preparation.”
At this moment, Su Sheng noticed a child following behind Bia. Bia pulled the little boy forward and introduced him: “This is my younger brother, Bell, a Black Dragon.”
The little boy looked arrogant. After being pulled out, he turned his head away and remained silent.
Bia held the boy by the arm and said with a headache: “Sorry, he’s spoiled.”
“Hmph.” Bell twisted his head away upon hearing that, looking even more defiant.
Su Sheng said “It’s fine” while walking out with Bia.
Strangely, he felt very comfortable and relaxed when he was with Bia. He rarely felt this way about people, as he was actually quite picky about his friends.
After a while, Bia asked: “How is it? Is there anything unclear in the books I gave you?”
Su Sheng frowned and pondered for a moment: “That book, ‘Conceptions on How to Merge Light and Dark Magic,’ who wrote it? The perspective feels very unconventional.”
Bia was slightly surprised for a moment: “You don’t know?”
Su Sheng shook his head.
Bia said: “That… you should ask Loren.”
After leaving the campus, he parted ways with Bia. Students were walking in clusters nearby when the little chubby boy suddenly rushed out of the crowd.
Seeing him, the chubby boy beamed: “Norton, are you free? Can you help me out at Mrs. Vilga’s bakery?”
Without waiting for a response, he grabbed Su Sheng’s hand and rushed toward a side street.
Su Sheng had no choice but to follow.
Upon arriving at the shop, Mrs. Vilga was busy inside. Seeing them, she held up a tray and smiled, asking: “Come, come, do you want some bread? It’s fresh out of the oven, still warm.”
Su Sheng couldn’t resist the enthusiasm of the two, who were competing with each other, so he took a piece of bread and sat down to chew.
“It’s delicious,” he said. The flavor had a hint of sweetness but wasn’t cloying.
The shop wasn’t large, but it was very tidy. The windows were floor-to-ceiling, opening onto the street, with various restaurants across the way.
As Su Sheng was eating his bread, he suddenly looked up, and his gaze fixed on the second-floor terrace around the corner opposite the shop.
His eyesight was excellent. The terrace was beautiful, and a familiar figure was sitting there—it was Loren, seated opposite an elegantly dressed woman.
He paused, not moving his gaze away immediately.
So Loren didn’t look for him today because he had an appointment, he thought blandly, lowering his head.
As he continued eating, the hand holding the bread suddenly began to tremble slightly. Perhaps he had eaten too much; the taste of the bread in his mouth suddenly became sickly sweet, making him lose his appetite.
“What’s wrong?” The little chubby boy sitting opposite him followed his line of sight and immediately understood.
“Lord Loren is having a meal too.”
Su Sheng felt his throat was dry and didn’t want to reply.
There was leftover bread on the plate. He should throw it away. No, perhaps he should pack it up and give it to a homeless person on the street, he thought distractedly.
“Do you like Lord Loren?” The chubby boy squinted his eyes and blinked at him.
“How could I!” Su Sheng’s eyes widened instantly, but feeling the denial wasn’t strong enough, he added, “What nonsense are you talking about!”
The chubby boy crossed his arms, wearing a knowing expression: “Hey, don’t rush to deny it. That look in your eyes is just like the look my stepmother gave my father before she married him—full of the sour stench of infatuation.”
Su Sheng: “…”
The chubby boy continued: “Are you two living together?”
Su Sheng’s ears felt hot, and his gaze wavered: “No.”
“Oh, why deny it! Everyone knows. I’m telling you, the first step in pursuing someone is to get close to them, and then when you have a chance, be good to them in every way. You’re so good-looking and you’re already close to him, pursuing him won’t be hard.”
Pursuing someone—this term was truly unfamiliar to him, but undeniably, upon hearing the word, his heart subtly stirred.
Lowering his head, he stared at his slightly rough-looking palms, sinking into contemplation.
Good-looking… am I?
“How does one usually pursue someone?” After a while, he looked up and asked, his eyes full of confusion.
The chubby boy looked excited: “Simple. Step one: send him flowers.”
Su Sheng snapped the fork in his hand with a loud crack, his face darkening: “That’s too affected.”
“Then cook his favorite food. First, capture his stomach, make him physically unable to leave you.”
Crack. The fork shattered into four pieces. Su Sheng: “That’s too difficult.”
The chubby boy also became distressed, muttering: “Then what should we do?”
Suddenly, he slapped his forehead and said: “Then take off your clothes and seduce him! That’s what my stepmother did.”
Su Sheng: “…………………………”
The conversation ultimately came to nothing, and Su Sheng went back alone after helping out.
By the time he reached his room, the sky was completely dark, but Loren hadn’t returned yet.
Su Sheng took off his outer garment and sat on the bed, spacing out.
He didn’t know how much time passed before footsteps sounded outside the door. Su Sheng irritably rolled over and covered his head with the quilt.
The door creaked open, the lamp was lit, and the dim room suddenly brightened. Loren’s voice drifted over: “Sleeping so early?”
He clutched the quilt tightly and didn’t speak.
Loren looked at Su Sheng, who was curled up in a ball on the bed and facing away from him. How could he not understand? “My dear Norton, are you angry?”
“No.” A muffled nasal sound came from under the quilt. “I have a fever.”
Loren chuckled, putting down the key in his hand: “A fever? You can’t stay curled up in the quilt all the time. Come out and take some medicine.”
Su Sheng: “………………”
Loren raised an eyebrow and walked over: “Still not getting up? I’m going to have to pull you up, you know.”
Su Sheng abruptly threw off the quilt and glared at him, a trace of redness still visible around his eyes.
Su Sheng didn’t know what he looked like right now, but Loren did.
His messy black hair was scattered over his shoulders, and his eyes held a hint of poorly concealed grievance. His usually immaculate collar was now disheveled, and his pale skin was faintly visible underneath.
Loren’s eyes darkened, and his Adam’s apple bobbed.
He didn’t say anything to warn Su Sheng but slowly walked closer.
The bed dipped slightly as Loren sat down. He reached out and touched Su Sheng’s forehead, deliberately saying: “You do seem a little warm. Are you cold? Do you need me to hug you to warm you up?”
Su Sheng’s ears instantly flushed red. This person was absolutely doing it on purpose, on purpose! He glared at the man, momentarily unsure how to respond.
Loren acted as if he hadn’t noticed, leaning over and embracing him. His smiling voice, warm with breath, sounded near Su Sheng’s ear: “Are you comfortable now?”
Su Sheng’s eyes widened instantly, his body tensing up completely, startled and bewildered.
A moment later, Loren was kicked away with an unrestrained force. Su Sheng adjusted his clothes while saying darkly: “Have you had enough of taking advantage?”
