Qi Ye didn’t know how Shi Ran understood it, but for him, it was never about being angry.

Deciding to leave Shi Ran was the most difficult decision he had made in his life.

Qi Ye could only say, “I didn’t.”

“You still say you didn’t. You completely ignored me after the argument. What kind of friend does that?” Shi Ran said, suddenly feeling very aggrieved, but he forcibly suppressed that feeling and asked Qi Ye, “What exactly did I do to make you angry? You have to make it clear.”

Qi Ye said, “Really, you don’t have to repay me. I wanted to do it myself.”

“Going to the same university as you is also something I wanted to do. I can’t help it, who told you to be the best person to me besides my grandpa?” Shi Ran said. “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you for the next four years of university!”

Qi Ye smiled reassuringly. He was probably really hopeless. As soon as he heard Shi Ran say that, he began to want to rely on him.

It would be best if she never saw anyone from the school again.
