Marks that should not exist ④

When Lu Rong regained consciousness, his eyes were filled with darkness.

He was not lying on the bed, nor in any place where he had slept before. There were round snake tails under him and a section across his waist, which pressed him in place, unable to move. The clothes on his body were in a mess, as if they had been kneaded.

There were a few emergency lights scattered around, making the darkness less pure.

Using the light of the emergency lights, Lu Rong looked around, turned his head, and was caught off guard by Feniesen’s white face, which made him stiffen in fright.

Fenier sank into the darkness with his eyes closed, like a plaster figure that could not move. His face was quiet, or lifeless. Lürong’s frightened tiny movements seemed to alarm him. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes, and his golden eyes were still blank, as if they were embedded with two cold metal prosthetic eyes.

Lu Rong was quiet for a moment, calming down his rapidly accelerating heart rate – he was scared.

X01 flew out and hesitated to speak: “You…”

“What’s wrong?” Lu Rong always felt that there was something strange about him.

It was only at this moment that he noticed that Fenier not only had the snake’s tail pressing down on him, but even lay on his side, surrounding him, like a dragon guarding treasures, with a vigilant posture that could not be refused.

Lu Rong was confused, he didn’t think he had such attraction to Fenier.

    “Oh, it’s nothing.”

    Lu Rong:……

X01 added: “I always feel that he is weird, as if he treats you like a stuffed toy.”

Just as he was talking, the quiet Fenier suddenly moved, and the snake’s tail slowly rubbed away from Lurong. He moved slightly closer to Lurong, his cheek almost touching Lurong’s body, and his slightly opened lips and teeth revealed the heat of his breath. He was still feeling Lurong’s breath, but his position was gradually lowering, going to an indescribable place.

Lu Rong immediately realized where Fenier was going. It was one of the two places on Alpha’s body that had the strongest pheromone aura. At this moment, he had just woken up again. He didn’t expect that the feathered serpent was so keen and sensed his changes.

Lu Rong’s tense nerves showed a sense of helplessness. He tentatively stretched out his index finger, pressed his knuckle against Fenier’s jaw, and raised the quiet head with a slight force, restraining the feathered snake’s movements.

“Where are you going?” he asked with a half-smile. After asking, he remembered that Fenier couldn’t hear, and his helplessness became even more serious.

There was a slight knock on the door, and a faint voice came, “Are you awake?”

“Yes.” Lu Rong responded and slowly sat up from the feathered snake. He pinched the feathered snake’s jaw and straightened the person. The feathered snake was as obedient as a doll, letting him play with it.

Lu Rong became more and more surprised, thinking about how to communicate with Fenier.

“I checked some documents and got a clue about his situation.” After making sure that opening the door would not hit the snake’s tail or alert Fenier, Shen Danshi opened the door a little.

Lu Rong motioned for her to continue.

“I tested it, and he didn’t respond to the sound, so I threw a few emergency lights in, and we didn’t disturb him when we talked. Before, Xiaoyu would irritate him, probably because the smell of Xiaoyu made him feel unsafe, and Xiaoyu fired. Although he didn’t hit him, it caused vibrations in the nearby air, making him feel danger, so he overreacted.”

“He seems to feel very safe with you now,” Shen Danshi opened his document collection system. “I compiled an overview about his situation and the damage to the brain nerves caused by memory retrieval. I will briefly outline the key points, and you can read the details.”

Lu Rong received the summary sent by Shen Dan, opened it, and saw thirty pages. He raised his head and looked at Shen Dan, “How long have I been asleep?”

Shen Danshi answered accurately, “Fifteen hours and thirty-three minutes,” she paused and sounded a little embarrassed, “The anesthetic dose given to the Quetzalcoatl is a little larger than normal, so you will sleep a little longer.”

Lu Rong did not expect to sleep for so long, nor did he expect to wake up immediately to receive a thirty-page summary. He clicked on the first page and began to browse at a very fast speed. He began to report in a calm manner:

“I rescanned his brain with high-precision medical eyes. There are indeed obvious sequelae of memory retrieval and multiple nerve damage. This kind of nerve damage is very difficult to repair. It can only be treated with a special kind of nerve repair fluid. It is not available on Lutesi. I will pay attention to where it is sold recently. At present, I can only rely on his own repair ability, but before the tail segment is repaired, he may not have that much repair ability to allocate to the nerves.”

“So, during the period before the tail grows, he will continue to have symptoms of memory retrieval sequelae. Humans will experience juvenile behavior, amnesia, behavioral degradation, and cognitive confusion. I don’t know what will happen to the feathered snake. At present, it seems that the aggression will become stronger.”

There’s a good explanation for Finnier’s dull behavior, and he’s probably now a… uh… baby snake who doesn’t remember anything.

“He was already very aggressive.” Lu Rong interjected, “He was like this before he got sick.” As he said this, he glanced at the tail section of the feathered snake that was far away. It had grown a little flesh, but not much, like a gnawed duck’s neck.

At this growth rate, the degradation will continue for at least some time.

When Shen Dan heard Lu Rong’s words, his expression was a little subtle, and he continued, “The examination showed that his olfactory nerve was actually damaged and he shouldn’t be able to smell things. But I just found out that he has been sniffing you, so I checked the information about the feathered snake.”

Lurong’s expression was subtle this time. Due to Fenier’s previous conviction, he was not sure whether the degenerated feathered serpent sniffed something he shouldn’t have done out of curiosity during his coma. But Shen Tan’s expression was very upright, making it hard for him to think too much.

“The Quetzalcoatl has an organ, the vomeronasal organ, in the mouth, which can obtain pheromone molecules by exchanging air. This organ’s sense of smell is not controlled by the brain nerves. This should be the reason why it can smell a certain scent on you.”

“This may be his only sensory organ besides touch.”

“However,” Shen Danshi frowned, “I find this very strange. He is obviously completely marked, but he doesn’t reject you at all. It stands to reason that a completely marked Omega would be very resistant to contact with other Alphas.”

These words woke up Lu Rong. He looked at Feinier who was silent and motionless in front of him. After hesitating for a few seconds, he slowly approached Feinier, trying to get behind him and look at his back neck to confirm the traces of the mark.

But Lürong was on Fenier’s snake tail, and every move he made was sensed by the couatl. As soon as he moved, the couatl adjusted its body to face him, making it impossible for him to get behind the couatl.

After thinking about it, Lu Rong stretched out his hand, clasped Fenier’s chin, and brought his head to his neck, hovering in the air at a safer distance, about the position of his chest.

Perhaps because the smell of pheromones from this angle was very obvious, even stronger than from other angles, Fenier did not resist, and his white hair fell from his shoulders like flowing water, spread out, fell on Lu Rong, and then exposed the pale back of his neck without any defense.

The position of the Omega gland is slightly raised, with a clear tooth mark remaining on it.

The moment he saw the tooth mark, Lu Rong felt a tremor and gravity from the depths of his consciousness, and countless memories revived in his mind. He thought he had forgotten that feeling, but at that moment his saliva had already begun to secrete, and the marked fangs were eager to bite something.

He gritted his teeth hard and suppressed those inexplicable thoughts. After taking a breath, his unexplained voice sounded in the darkness, “It’s mine.”

    “What?” Shen Danshi didn’t understand.

“The complete mark was given to him by me.” Lu Rong broke his brief words into pieces and spoke calmly.

There was the sound of something falling to the ground at the door.

Shen Danshi was stunned together with Yu Xiazhi who was hiding behind her. Yu Xiazhi couldn’t believe what he heard. He let go of his hand and the pen fell out. He hurriedly picked up the pen and looked at Shen Dan subconsciously, and found that Shen Danshi’s expression had also solidified.

It turned out to be not an auditory hallucination.

When Shen Danshi came back to her senses, she subconsciously looked at Lu Rong, but she couldn’t understand Lu Rong’s expression. In fact, this kind of situation often happened. Lu Rong was a difficult person to understand, but this time it was a little different. Shen Danshi recognized a trace of hard-to-conceal, resisting but surging desire in Lu Rong’s incomprehensible expression.

It seems like it can’t be hidden anymore, it’s so full that it overflows.

She even felt that there was a declaration of sovereignty in Lu Rong’s words.

Lu Rong slowly raised Feinier’s head, examined his blank expression, and finally saw a hint of attachment, “No wonder.” He sighed in a low voice, and his green eyes fell on Feinier without moving.

The full mark is still there, and his pheromones will attract Fenier, making Fenier very dependent on him.

He slowly withdrew his hand from Fenier. As he moved, he noticed the setting of his bracelet. He remembered that he had turned down the Alpha pheromone release area, but he might have accidentally touched it when he lowered it for the last time, and the pheromone receiving area was also turned on.

Lu Rong frowned, aware of a new problem.

The room was filled with an obvious smell of blood, which existed before he came in. It obviously came from Fenier’s incompletely healed tail, but Lurong could not smell any trace of Omega pheromones from the smell of blood.

He marked Fenier a long time ago. How did he spend all these years without the comfort of Alpha pheromones?

After being completely marked, Omega without Alpha to regularly comfort seemed to have poor results.

Lu Rong had a bad premonition. He believed that Feinier needed to check more carefully, but how to communicate with Feinier was still a problem.

Lu Rong looked at Feinier’s hand that was hanging still. He stretched out his own hand and took Feinier’s hand. It seemed that Feinier had no intention of resisting him because of the pheromones.

Lu Rong wrote three words on Fenier’s palm: “Follow me.”

He wrote very slowly, even writing it twice. When he was about to write it a third time, Fenier’s other hand came up and held down Lurong’s hand.

Lu Rong looked up and saw Fenier nodding slowly, meekly and obediently.
