Chapter 6 Mr. Jiang, You Can Punish Me Now

This was the first time Wang Shu had been rushed to the hospital in such a chaotic manner.

Just now, Shen Xiao had been pushing his hospital bed down the corridor, shouting ‘make way,’ and now everyone in the emergency room was staring at them.

Wang Shu’s face was burning. He tugged at Shen Xiao’s sleeve. “I’m fine, really, I’m fine.”

“Whether you’re fine or not is up to the doctor to decide,” Shen Xiao wouldn’t let him mess around. His first reaction to trouble was to call his brother.

His brother, Lou Zheng, had arranged for a private room for them.

“He’s sick. I think that Qiao Song is absolutely insane! I’m going back to school later and beating him into a pig’s head!” Shen Xiao was furious thinking about what had just happened. “He copied his graduation project and still acted so arrogant.”

They had originally been setting up their paintings in a corner. Shen Xiao was simply annoyed that Qiao Song’s graduation design imitated Wang Shu’s work. Few people remembered the paintings from their freshman year, and the instructor hadn’t said anything when he saw it, even recommending Qiao Song’s painting for auction. Just thinking about it was irritating.

Wang Shu didn’t pay much attention to these things, but the other party was not easy to deal with.

Someone must have overheard Shen Xiao and told Qiao Song, who quickly came over to pick a fight.

Shen Xiao had a fiery temper; he was the type who would resort to violence rather than reason, so he immediately grabbed a rag and threw it at the other person’s face.

In the chaos, Wang Shu was bumped by someone, his vision went black, and he instantly lost consciousness.

Wang Shu was wearing a loose hoodie and overalls today, so his pregnant belly wasn’t very noticeable. The nearby clinic they were sent to first assumed it was just a weak fainting spell common in an omega. After administering an Inhibitor, he immediately experienced a Gland rejection reaction and went into shock, which was why they urgently transferred him to a larger hospital.

“Is there anywhere you feel uncomfortable?” Shen Xiao touched Wang Shu’s head, frowning. “Damn, you’re heating up too fast.”

Wang Shu touched his own face but couldn’t feel the change in his body temperature.

“I really am much better. Go take care of your hand quickly.” Wang Shu tried to get out of bed to accompany him to treat his wound.

Shen Xiao’s hand had been busy punching people, and he hadn’t had time to deal with the broken skin and bleeding on his knuckles.

The doctor pushed the door open, and Shen Xiao waved him off as he walked out. “Stay put, don’t get out of bed. I’ll be back as soon as I’m bandaged.”

    “Okay,” he nodded.

After Shen Xiao left, Wang Shu lay weakly on the bed, feeling terribly dizzy.

“You had Cornea Surgery when you were fourteen?” the doctor asked, sitting in a chair.

    Wang Shu: “Yes.”

“Were you completely blind before the surgery?” the doctor asked.

    “Yes.”

The doctor frowned. This kind of case was very rare. Logically, an omega with a sluggish Gland should require more Inhibitor.

However, Wang Shu’s Gland couldn’t tolerate even ten percent of a standard Inhibitor, or it would cause Intracranial Pressure, leading to temporary vision loss or blindness.

The doctor waved his hand in front of Wang Shu’s eyes. “Can you still see clearly?”

Wang Shu’s eyelids felt heavy, and his vision was blurring. He recognized this feeling.

    He was going blind.

This was what happened when he secretly injected himself with Inhibitor.

“You’ll probably only be able to see clearly again after the Inhibitor wears off. Don’t worry, you are pregnant, so we can’t easily give you other medications.”

Wang Shu nodded groggily, touching his lower abdomen. “Will the baby be okay? Will it affect…”

“We have someone from another department coming. Rest for a while, and we’ll arrange an imaging scan. Where is your family member? Have they arrived?” the doctor asked as a matter of routine.

Wang Shu’s heart sank. He remembered Aunt Wang saying that Mr. Jiang Xusheng was away on a business trip.

“He’s quite busy. I can manage on my own.” Wang Shu’s eyes curved into beautiful crescents.

The doctor noticed that his pupils were unfocused. He estimated that the Intracranial Pressure had brought him close to blindness, and it would be difficult without a family member present.

However, the doctor didn’t insist. He clipped his pen onto his white coat. “Alright, you rest for a bit.”

The private room was quiet. Wang Shu occasionally heard footsteps in the corridor.

He tried to open his eyes again, spreading his five fingers in front of him, but the blur was so intense he could only perceive a dark shadow.

The Inhibitor made his body temperature rise. Fine beads of sweat broke out on his forehead from the discomfort, and his breathing hurt. The familiar pain spread from his Gland throughout his body. The medication was cold; even though his body temperature was high, every patch of his skin felt like it was in an ice cellar.

Wang Shu carefully covered his lower abdomen, not wanting his pain to affect the baby.

He endured the Gland pain until his strength was completely drained.

Before falling into a deep sleep, he fumbled for his phone under the pillow.

He slowly spoke into the voice assistant, “Open Mr. Jiang Xusheng’s chat window.”

[Mr. Jiang, I had a lot of fun with my classmate today. He has a little baby at his house, and I want to stay and play for two days. No need to send the driver to pick me up / spinning JPG]

Only after the voice assistant confirmed the message was sent did Wang Shu feel relieved enough to close his eyes and fall asleep.

The setting sun shone on the pale back of the hand connected to the IV tube.

The nurse intended to remind the patient to go for the examination, but she was stopped outside the door by the man’s secretary.

Jiang Xusheng sat by the bedside, looking at the message.

Then he looked up at Wang Shu, who had been sleeping soundly for three hours. The man’s jawline was tight, and his temples were throbbing.

The omega’s body temperature had already reached thirty-nine degrees Celsius.

His Gland had a rejection reaction to standard Inhibitors, and a pregnant omega couldn’t take medication casually. The nurse said he had also vomited once upon arrival.

The omega on the bed was thin, like a kitten.

“What is the name of the person who caused the trouble?” Jiang Xusheng held Wang Shu’s small hand, carefully tracing his knuckles.

Secretary Chen brought up the information on the Qiao Family: “Qiao Song, the only son of the Qiao Family.”

Jiang Xusheng had some impression of the company. “They deal in raw materials?”

    Secretary Chen replied, “Yes.”

“Compensate him for the medical expenses,” Jiang Xusheng tossed the file away. “Find a new raw material supplier. Hand the rest over to the legal department.”

Chen Chun turned and left the ward. Outside, Qiao Song, who had received compensation, was smug. “The Wang Family went bankrupt, and he still has a secretary?”

“Please take this money.” Chen Chun respectfully handed over the card.

Not everyone was fated to spend Jiang Xusheng’s money.

The Qiao Family’s century-old foundation was thus lightly destroyed by this young master.

Before seven o’clock, the news that Xieshu Pharmaceutical had broken its contract with Qiao Corp was on the financial news.

Xieshu Pharmaceutical had recently secured the National Standard, mandating that all hospitals above Grade A in the country switch to their Inhibitor. Their reputation was soaring. Anyone kicked out by Jiang Xusheng at this time was instantly plunged into the mud, with no chance of ever recovering.

Crushing a company was as simple as writing a check for Jiang Xusheng.

Wang Shu opened his eyes. His eye pressure hadn’t dropped yet. He waved his hand in front of him, but couldn’t see even the faintest shadow, only a sheet of gray-white.

“Xiao Xiao, what time is it? Don’t you need to go home?”

Wang Shu had been blind before the age of fourteen, so he was very familiar with the state of total blindness and felt no panic. Moreover, he knew this situation wouldn’t last long; it would recover once the fever in his Gland subsided.

His hearing was sharp, and he could sense someone breathing by the bed.

Wang Shu’s pupils were slightly unfocused and dull. He turned his head slightly toward the person by the bed. “Don’t worry about me, really, I’m fine. Am I scaring you?”

“Actually, this happened before when I injected myself with Inhibitor secretly,” Wang Shu pursed his lips. “It’s a good thing Mr. Jiang Xusheng is away on a business trip these past few days.”

He reached out, tentatively searching for his phone, wondering if Jiang Xusheng had replied. He murmured, “He doesn’t let me lie…”

“You must be annoyed that I keep mentioning Mr. Jiang, aren’t you?”

Wang Shu’s tone was gentle and soft, and when he smiled, his eyes curved. “Please don’t dislike me.”

His world was too small; the people revolving around him could be counted on one hand.

Wang Shu listened with his ear cocked for a long time, blinking his eyes and looking forward, wondering why Shen Xiao wasn’t speaking.

He stretched out his hand to grope along the bedside, carefully touching a hand.

It was a large, broad-knuckled palm with a thin layer of calluses on the pads of the fingers.

The owner of the hand spread his palm out for him to touch. It was dry and hot. Just as Wang Shu stiffened and tried to pull his hand back, the man immediately grasped it, pulling it gently forward and encircling his wrist.

“Staying at Shen Xiao’s house?” Jiang Xusheng’s voice drifted over, low and deep, as if weaving a net from all directions, trapping Wang Shu’s small hand.

“Not coming back for a few days.”

    “Telling me not to worry.”

Jiang Xusheng recited his text message, leaning in until his nose was pressed against Wang Shu’s. His other palm wrapped around Wang Shu’s waist, preventing him from retreating. “You don’t learn your lesson, knowingly doing wrong. Wang Shu, how did I not know you were so bold before?”

The man’s hand gripped his waist, his presence suffocating.

Even though Wang Shu couldn’t see, he still felt like his skin was about to be scorched. Everywhere he breathed was filled with heat.

    “Jiang…”

“Hmm?” Jiang Xusheng’s voice was stern. “Your eyes can’t see, but your mouth can talk, full of lies.”

Jiang Xusheng’s questioning voice pressed down: “Is the hospital Shen Xiao’s house?”

Wang Shu’s body felt soft and weak. He sat up, confirming this wasn’t a dream.

He had to listen closely to the breathing to locate Jiang Xusheng. He looked toward the man in confusion and helplessness, biting his lower lip guiltily.

Wang Shu knew he had done wrong, but he hadn’t expected the punishment to be more severe than last time.

“Jiang—ngh,” Wang Shu instinctively shrank back, placing both hands against the man’s chest, feeling his firm, bulging pectoral muscles. Jiang Xusheng’s lips pressed down heavily, fiercely aggressive and invasive. His heart instantly went into chaos, and he tried to pull away. “The baby… there’s a baby…”

Wang Shu’s Gland was hot. Jiang Xusheng gripped the back of his neck, making his entire body tremble.

A slight, heavy ache pulled at his lower abdomen. The swelling curve was covered by Jiang Xusheng’s other hand, like he was stroking his Pregnant Belly, but more like he was controlling him.

He was now caught between a rock and a hard place.

Wang Shu was not skilled at kissing.

When he and Mr. Jiang had sex before, they rarely kissed. His lips were clumsy, not like a toy meant to please.

The man had no Pheromone, yet he still bit fiercely.

The omega’s Pheromone suddenly released, its concentration gradually rising in the ward. He was struggling to breathe, forced by the man’s frantic and punitive kiss.

Jiang Xusheng roughly kneaded his waist, half a palm resting on his bulging Pregnant Belly, pulling him directly off the bed and into his arms. His waist was too thin; even carrying a baby, it was still so slender it made one want to snap it.

The omega was suffocating, almost breaking down.

“Breathe.” Jiang Xusheng bit him, rubbing his nose against Wang Shu’s lips, like coaxing.

Wang Shu obediently inhaled, but before he could exhale, his nostrils were again filled with the man’s heat.

He felt like he was being devoured, his tongue tingling from being sucked.

The omega’s vision was hazy. A trembling whimper escaped his nose. His neck was pressed down, and the movement of his Adam’s apple swallowing scraped against the man’s thumb and forefinger.

“Cough…” Wang Shu trembled violently, fighting back tears. His skin was flushed red. Just before he suffocated, Jiang Xusheng finally released him.

Jiang Xusheng inserted his finger into his mouth, pressing down on his tongue: “Breathe.”

Wang Shu was held in his embrace with one arm. He instinctively hugged Jiang Xusheng, opening his mouth obediently to breathe.

He was a fool who didn’t even know how to kiss, yet he was already pregnant and about to be a father.

“Exhale slowly.” Jiang Xusheng leaned close to his ear, kissing his cheek, like soothing him. “Use your nose.”

After a moment, Wang Shu sniffled, tilting his head obediently. “I’m done.”

“Mr. Jiang, I’m rested. You can punish me again…” The omega’s voice carried a hint of tearful grievance, his lips glistening from the kiss.
