    Chapter 48

Xia Yize’s mind was filled with strange things and colorful threads were flying around. He couldn’t even figure out how to get home. He was as obedient as a little rabbit with a battery plugged in along the way. There were also his schoolbag and scattered books in the car, all of which were thrown behind by Qi Ge. Qi Ge used a seat belt to secure Xia Yize to the passenger seat.

Qi Ge looked at him. Xia Yize lowered his head and his eyes were red, as if he had been bullied. He was too quiet. Qi Ge didn’t want to leave for a moment. He wanted to explain the matter clearly in the car. He wanted to hold Xia Yize in his arms and isolate all the grievances for him.

Qi Ge tightened his grip on the steering wheel, gritted his teeth, and then turned a corner and drove out.

Along the way, Xia Yize sat obediently and didn’t make any noise. The moment Qi Ge kissed him, his brain went blue. He had to update the system and restart.

Qi Ge brought the person up with a half-hug. Xia Yize, the little rabbit, showed innocent eyes and hugged Qi Ge’s arm unsuspectingly. Qi Ge’s hands were clenched into fists behind Xia Yize.

Qi Ge hesitated briefly and took Xia Yize home directly.

Guo Shengfan had packed away his things, the suitcase at the door of the guest room disappeared, and the guest’s slippers were placed at the bottom of the shoe rack. Qi Ge breathed a sigh of relief.

Xia Yize leaned on Qi Ge like a boneless person.

Qi Ge took off his coat, and before he had time to hang it up, he hurriedly reached for Xia Yize who was about to sit on the ground, causing the coat to be thrown to the ground.

Qi pulled him and said, “When you are sleepy, go inside and sleep. The ground is not clean.”

Xia Yize snorted twice, and Qi Ge held him forward. Xia Yize refused to take a step. After struggling for a long time, Qi Ge simply picked him up.

Qi Ge pulled out the quilt, squatted down and looked at Xia Yize, “Can I change into my pajamas myself?”

Xia Yize’s cheeks were red and he looked at him without speaking. His eyes were wet and full of grievances.

Qi Ge gently pressed the corners of Xia Yize’s eyes with his fingertips, “I’ll help you change your clothes and just have a good sleep.”

Qi Ge unbuttoned one button for him, and with the second button, Xia Yize seemed to suddenly wake up. He held Qi Ge’s hand and pulled the unsuspecting Qi Ge onto the bed. Most of the remaining row of buttons were unbuttoned, and one of them fell apart.

Xia Yize sat up on his knees, one side of his clothes fell off his shoulders, and the other was barely draped over his shoulders. His half-covered chest muscles rose and fell with his breathing.

Qi Ge clenched his hands tightly on his thighs and allowed Xia Yize to vent his anger. It was not until Qi Ge felt the taste of blood in his mouth that Xia Yize let him go. Qi Ge pursed his bitten lips, but before he could speak, Xia Yize rushed over and pulled Qi Ge’s shirt out. Qi Ge was shocked, and Xia Yize’s hands were cold.

Qi Ge held his hand, breathing unsteadily, “You drank too much.”

Xia Yize’s eyes were red and he bit Qi Ge’s neck, like a vampire who had lost his mind on a full moon night.

In the past, Xia Yize could fall asleep with just a hug from Qi Ge.

But Qi Ge was reluctant to resist at this time and tilted his head, letting Xia Yize go crazy and leave a tooth mark.

Xia Yize sat astride Qi Ge and looked at Qi Ge boldly and unabashedly. Xia Yize raised his hand and took off his shirt, “You asked me to take off my clothes.”

After Xia Yize took off his own clothes, he reached out to take off Qi Ge’s. Qi Ge held Xia Yize’s hand, turned him over and pressed him on the bed. Xia Yize was stunned for a moment, then his breathing became rapid, and he looked at him obediently, as if he was at the mercy of others.

Qi Ge kissed him gently on the forehead. Xia Yize closed his eyes slightly and his eyelashes trembled.

Qi Ge frowned, calmed down for a few seconds, quickly pulled up the quilt, wrapped Xia Yize into a roll, and laid him down on the bed.

Xia Yize struggled a few times. Qi Ge pulled on the quilt, but he couldn’t get away at all.

Qi Ge patted him across the quilt and said, “Don’t move. You’re drunk. Sleep well, otherwise you won’t be able to regret it when you wake up tomorrow.”

Xia Yize’s eyes were filled with grievance again. Qi Ge held Xia Yize in his arms and patted him, “Be good and go to sleep.”

Qi Ge clutched the quilt tightly, Xia Yize’s struggle was also his struggle, but at this time he couldn’t take advantage of others’ danger, so he could only mechanically coax Xia Yize to sleep quickly, and also tried to cool down himself.

Xia Yize drank a lot and kicked and twisted in the quilt. In the end, he didn’t know whether he was too tired and fell asleep or fainted from anger.

Xia Yize’s breathing gradually became regular and long, and he was still frowning. Qi Ge gently smoothed his brow, brushed his broken hair, and pulled out the quilt a little to make him sleep more comfortably.

Qi Ge stayed awake and hugged her all night, looking out the window from the dark night to the dim light.

When Xia Yize woke up, the sun shone warmly in, and his consciousness gradually returned. He turned around suddenly, and found nothing around him.

Lifting the quilt, this is not his bed, not his home. There is that postcard on the bedside table.

In the vast space and infinite time, it is my honor to share the same star and the same time with you.

It was his handwriting. Xia Yize picked it up and chuckled, not bothering to check whether yesterday was a dream.

He got out of bed and rushed to the living room with bare feet. He saw Qi Ge in the kitchen, wearing a set of home clothes. There was a gurgling sound in the pot. Qi Ge turned his head and smiled softly at him. Xia Yize felt that he had not sobered up, otherwise why was his face so hot and his heartbeat still so fast.

Qi Ge saw that he was cold and didn’t say anything. He turned around and stirred the porridge in the pot, “Go back and put on your shoes. There are clothes prepared for you by the bedside.”

Xia Yize realized that he was only wearing a pair of pants. He crossed his arms and trotted back. Qi Ge’s clothes were a bit too big and had a faint orange smell on them.

Qi Ge calmly acted as if nothing had happened and placed breakfast on the dining table. Finally, it was not a dry sandwich.

Xia Yize changed his clothes but became nervous. The few fragments in his mind were real but ridiculous.

He sat down with a spoon, blushed and said, “I was yesterday, yesterday.”

Qi Ge put down his chopsticks and looked at him. Xia Yize lowered his head and said, “I lost my body yesterday.”

Qi Ge snorted, as if Xia Yize was in trouble but gave up. Xia Yize raised his head and wondered what this smile meant.

Qi Ge lowered his head to drink the porridge. Xia Yize saw that there were still traces of teeth marks on Qi Ge’s neck. The picture in his mind suddenly exploded. He swallowed and asked, “Did I molest you yesterday?”

Qi Ge laughed angrily and threw the spoon into the porridge, “Attempted.”

Xia Yize buried his head and took a sip of the porridge, then choked. Qi Ge handed over a piece of paper, and Xia Yize took it casually and took a long time to relax.

Qi Ge looked up at him and asked casually: “I don’t remember anything.”

Xia Yize’s red ears betrayed him, obviously not.His memory became clearer and more coherent, and the aftertaste of that feeling made his hand hold the spoon tighter and tighter.

Qi Ge continued to drink porridge, “Forget it if you don’t remember.”

“I remember!” Xia Yize sat up straight, shook his hand, and spilled half of the bowl of porridge.

He ignored the porridge on the table and suppressed his words with a red face, “You have to be responsible for me.”

Qi Ge was splashed by his porridge and frowned. As soon as Xia Yize’s words came out, he laughed directly, “What did you say?”

Xia Yize stepped forward boldly, “It’s okay if I take responsibility for you.”

“I told you, the attempt failed.” Qi Ge took out a paper towel and wiped the porridge on the table.

Xia Yize sat aside without speaking for a long time. Qi Ge turned to look at him. Xia Yize’s eyes darkened and he stood aside.

His memory began to fall forward, thinking of Guo Shengfan.

“What’s the matter? Let’s eat.” Qi Ge cleared the table.

Xia Yize sat back silently, “I understand.”

Qi Ge raised his head in confusion, and Xia Yize said quietly: “I won’t let you take responsibility anymore, and it won’t affect the relationship between you and Guo Shengfan.”

After saying that, Xia Yize started to drink the porridge, but Qi Ge put down his chopsticks.

Qi Ge hooked his feet on the chair and pulled it. Xia Yize approached Qi Ge and met Qi Ge’s eyes as soon as he raised his head.

The memories of last night came back to him. He avoided his eyes, but Qi Ge held his chin and looked up at Qi Ge. Qi Ge said slowly: “Believe what others say. Do you want to buy health care products when you get older?”

“But what he said is right. I was originally…” Xia Yize felt aggrieved.

“I like you.” Qi Ge interrupted him, and Xia Yize forgot what he was going to say for a moment.

“You are unique. Have you forgotten that I am a teacher? Do you think I can’t see that you don’t like to study? Do you think I can’t even see clearly what you are like?”

Qi Ge looked at him, “My liking for you has nothing to do with anyone.”

Xia Yize just looked at Qi Ge, his brain was a little short of oxygen. He heard Qi Ge’s confession with his own ears. He had imagined it before and thought he would be very excited. At this time, he actually wanted to cry.

Qi Ge pressed a piece of paper over his eyes. Xia Yize leaned on Qi Ge’s shoulder in disbelief. Qi Ge gently stroked his back with one hand, “Isn’t it quite impressive yesterday?”

Xia Yize snorted and blocked Qi Ge’s mouth with the paper he had wiped his tears with.

Qi Ge spit out the paper. Xia Yize turned to look at him and smiled, with tears in his eyes.

Qi Ge gave him a spoon and said, “After breakfast, I will accompany you to class.”

Xia Yize stuffed a bunch of food into his mouth and suddenly felt hungry.

On the way to class, Xia Yize asked again: “Why did you let me study media studies?”

Qi Ge didn’t look at him and looked at the car ahead, “A certain person said he wanted to do public relations.”

“Oh.” Xia Yize nestled back again, covering his mouth and laughing.

Not long after, he sat up again and asked, “Did you accompany Guo Shengfan to class every day? You also went to his double major.”

    “Yes.” Qi Ge said.

Xia Yize sat back, folded his arms, and lowered the corners of his mouth.

“I also accompanied Pan Yu and attended classes with every roommate. I took many classes in college.” Qi Ge turned to look at him and chuckled.

Xia Yize tilted his head and couldn’t hold back his lips, “You did it on purpose.”

The words were blaming, and the tone when spoken was more like coquettishness.Qi Ge hummed a song while driving.

Xia Yize’s whole body was like a loosened balloon today, jumping up and down.

In class, the pen in his hand spun like a windmill. Qi Ge sat in the back row with him. Xia Yize wanted to concentrate on listening to what the teacher said, but his eyes always drifted to Qi Ge.

Xia Yize couldn’t help but fantasize about whether Qi Ge was like this when he was in school. It wasn’t until Qi Ge turned around and hit him on the head that Xia Yize realized that he had forgotten to turn the page.

“If you don’t go to class well, you can go back and sleep by yourself tonight.”

Xia Yize got excited as a reflex, stretched out his legs, and chased the table with a clang.

The teacher paused and looked over. Xia Yize quickly pretended to be taking notes.

But Xia Yize’s mind was still buzzing, so he could still go to Qi Ge’s house at night.

He suppressed his beating heart and listened to such boring and difficult knowledge. It was like a kind of torture for him, but Qi Ge next to him was still taking notes calmly.

After class, the books that were thrown out yesterday were neatly carried on Xia Yize’s body. He was very obedient all the way, for fear that Qi Ge would regret letting him go home.

You have to be rational and restrained outside, but when you get home, Xia Yize takes off his disguise, throws things on the ground, and hangs his whole body on Qi Ge.

He said in Qi Ge’s ear, “I’m sober now.” His breath fell on Qi Ge’s ear, provoking the fragile defense.

Qi Ge looked at him for a few seconds, picked up Xia Yize with one hand, and kicked open the bedroom door like yesterday.

Xia Yize is like a volcano of accumulated energy.

The surging magma rolled and gathered underground. Under the continuous squeezing of the earth’s crust, the air began to be filled with the smell of gunpowder smoke. The temperature continued to rise. The hot magma seemed to melt the entire mountain, and every inch of the land became soft and scorched.

Finally, dust and smoke filled the sky, and the hot magma flowed slowly, as if it wanted to cover the entire world, and could not remain silent for a long time.
