    Good Health to You

Wang Ling arrived at the base of the company tower. Even with three layers of scent blockers applied, he knew the scent of wormwood on him was still very strong. Fu Yaren had been releasing dense Pheromones all night, much heavier than the unintentional releases before. At this hour, the cleaning staff had finished their work. Since this wasn’t a hotel, he took the elevator reserved for cleaners and delivery personnel, to prevent his enigma Pheromones from overwhelming others.

In the elevator, he took out the Pheromones cleanser from his bag. His hand paused just as he was about to open the spray cap. Fu Yaren’s voice seemed to echo in his ear: “Don’t remove my Pheromones.” As if afraid he would refuse, the other party’s tone lacked its usual assertiveness, yet sounded stiff. He had asked, “Is that okay?”

Wang Ling tightly gripped the Pheromones cleanser, watching the numbers jump on the elevator display. He still sprayed the cleanser onto himself. The scent of wormwood on him dissolved into the cleanser, turning into alcohol that dissipated into the air.

He also cleared the scent of green tangerine from his body.

The elevator doors opened. Wang Ling looked out and realized he hadn’t reached his office floor yet. He saw Qian Xi outside the elevator, her eyes narrowed with sleepiness. She dragged her body slowly into the elevator, completely failing to notice him inside.

“Damn it, I looked at the wrong floor,” Qian Xi muttered, rubbing her eyes. “Luckily, this elevator is empty, I can still make it.”

Qian Xi noticed the person beside her and instinctively greeted him: “Secretary Wang, good morning…” When she realized who she had encountered, her eyes, which had been squinted into slits from fatigue, immediately widened. She looked at Wang Ling and saw him nod slightly in response to her greeting.

Qian Xi was mostly awake now. She gave an awkward laugh: “Good morning, Secretary Wang.” She hadn’t expected to run into Secretary Wang here; she didn’t know what to say. Her peripheral vision caught sight of a fresh bite mark on the back of Wang Ling’s neck, which his work uniform couldn’t completely cover.

She truly couldn’t imagine what someone like Secretary Wang looked like when intimate with a partner. Judging by that bite mark and the ambiguous hickeys, Wang Ling’s partner was clearly a fierce person, and she noticed these marks almost every time.

Could an omega be that formidable?

Qian Xi’s worldview was being refreshed; she was no longer sleepy. Wang Ling didn’t notice Qian Xi’s gaze. When the elevator reached his floor, the doors opened. He glanced at Qian Xi. Noticing his look, Qian Xi, seeing the man himself, forced an awkward smile and said, “Secretary Wang, good health to you.”

Then she quickly scurried out of the elevator and rushed back to her workstation. However, with these marks, Secretary Wang’s complexion looked much better, less haggard. Could Secretary Wang’s illness be related to Pheromones exchange between an alpha and an omega?

As a beta, Qian Xi was witnessing for the first time the benefits that the fusion between an alpha and an omega brought to the alpha’s body. It was both surprising and novel.

Wang Ling was unaware of Qian Xi’s thoughts. He routinely opened his computer and started working. Not long after he arrived, Nan Ningyue and Xu Tongxiao called a rather urgent meeting. Ruo Yu, the female alpha head of the Marketing Department, and Qian Xi, who liaises with the Marketing Department, were both present.

It seemed to be related to the marketing cooperation with Interlink.

In fact, the commission rate for each product sold on the two platforms was different. You Have Related’s commission rate was slightly higher than Interlink’s.

You Have Related, the daily service transaction platform, was only recently established. Its daily traffic for daily necessities transactions was not as high as Interlink’s, but You Have Related’s user base had reached a relatively stable level, and because it was related to document transmission and similar services, its daily active users reached a very astonishing number.

Interlink had high daily traffic, so the commission rate couldn’t be too high. First, this was due to corporate profit margins, but it also couldn’t be too low. For a large platform like Interlink, there were naturally better partners. The hope for cooperation was not great, so setting an increased total sales volume share that Interlink could achieve was a way to boost platform cooperation enthusiasm—this was tiered commission.

Xu Group’s inhibitors, cleansers, and other daily medical supplies sold on online platforms would have high daily sales, and might even increase You Have Related’s user base and competitiveness. Interlink certainly wouldn’t miss such an opportunity, especially since the conditions offered by Xu Group were not bad.

Nan Ningyue and Xu Tongxiao agreed that cooperating with both platforms would achieve online ubiquity. However, since Lian Chengde suddenly sought online marketing cooperation with them, besides expanding the product’s influence, it was actually a deep binding. If the product had any issues, the responsibility and losses Xu family would bear would be no less than the platform’s.

Nan Ningyue was cautious by nature. The contract was currently only completed unilaterally by Interlink. Nan Ningyue needed to confirm the level of risk Interlink would bear, and whether Interlink’s marketing methods aligned with their goals.

Lian Chengde was using this cooperation to incidentally delay the Xu family’s decision-making time. He was guarding against the Xu family, preventing them from cooperating with You Have Related first, which would cause product users to flow to You Have Related, thereby reducing Interlink’s sales volume. If You Have Related’s user base stabilized, Interlink’s profit would naturally be less than You Have Related’s, and this would also affect the subsequent development of his company.

“Ruo Yu, your department needs to formulate corresponding plans. Xiaohui, you coordinate information with Interlink’s secretary, especially regarding the confirmation of the marketing plan,” Nan Ningyue said with a serious expression. Xu Tongxiao looked at his Life Assistant and asked, “Du Jia, when is the next meeting with You Have Related?”

“General Manager Yu is currently in his susceptibility period, so the meeting has been postponed to next Wednesday,” Du Jia reported. Seeing the slight improvement in Xu Tongxiao and Nan Ningyue’s expressions, he added, “General Manager Lian’s meeting is this Friday.”

“Good,” Nan Ningyue nodded. Wang Ling checked the time and saw it was Tuesday. The Marketing Department needed to finalize the marketing plan within these two days. Ruo Yu adjusted her pink-framed glasses and solemnly accepted the task.

It seemed the Marketing Department would be working overtime, and Qian Xi would inevitably have to join them.
