Chapter 15 Chapter 15 The Abusive Man

Jiang Xusheng did not leave his room for two consecutive days.

Secretary Chen called several times to inquire. The charity gala from a few days ago had not gone smoothly and needed to be rescheduled.

Xieshu Pharmaceutical, which possessed the National Standard, was now highly sought after, and the business world always prioritized money over people.

Jiang Xusheng flatly stated that he was unavailable.

After receiving the Inhibitor, Wang Shu’s physical condition improved, and his wounds healed quickly. He could walk without much trouble and didn’t have a fever.

Since Jiang Xusheng was busy staying in the room to accompany his omega while he recovered, most of the company executives who had come to attend the banquet had no choice but to wait quietly.

The end of the year was approaching next month, and they truly couldn’t delay any longer.

On the morning of the third day, when Secretary Chen called to ask if he should arrange the banquet, Jiang Xusheng agreed.

Nine o’clock was not considered early.

Secretary Chen asked over the phone, “Breakfast has been placed outside the door. Do you want to return directly to Shen City after the banquet?”

Jiang Xusheng usually exercised early in the morning, and his voice was slightly deep. Secretary Chen didn’t find anything amiss: “Yes.”

“The number of attendees for the banquet is…” Secretary Chen asked.

“With Wang Shu,” Jiang Xusheng said concisely, hanging up the phone immediately after informing him.

The curtains in the room were not drawn. Jiang Xusheng stood by the bed, his palm pressing the fluffy head nestled against Wang Shu’s lower abdomen, stroking his hair.

    “Open your mouth.”

Wang Shu groggily opened his mouth, obediently complying, looking somewhat pitiful.

Jiang Xusheng’s fingertip slid across the back of his neck. The omega’s entire shoulder trembled from the stimulation of the Gland. He exerted a little force, and Wang Shu spat out the object in his mouth, kneeling pitifully by the bed, coughing.

“Mr. Jiang…” Wang Shu’s voice was slightly hoarse, as if his throat was about to tear.

Jiang Xusheng pulled out a tissue to wipe himself clean, then returned to the bed and embraced him. “How many times have I told you?”

Wang Shu answered pitifully, “Three times…”

Mr. Jiang had told him three times not to act spoiled.

Since he had been injured these past few days, Jiang Xusheng had stayed in the room with him.

Wang Shu was someone who lacked a sense of security and was accustomed to being sheltered and dependent. After his uncle went bankrupt, he could only rely on his husband for survival.

Moreover, Mr. Jiang seemed different from the terrifying man he had imagined. He would gently coax him, wipe away his tears, and teach him how to kiss. Also, due to his pregnancy, he had become somewhat fond of acting spoiled.

The previous two mornings, when Jiang Xusheng changed his dressing, he felt pain and tugged at the man’s clothes, asking if he could be held for a while.

He liked leaning against Jiang Xusheng’s chest.

Besides, he had a legitimate reason—it wasn’t uncommon for an omega during pregnancy to be clingy toward their husband.

His body was very soft. Because he rarely exercised, the flesh on his thighs and buttocks was surprisingly soft. His small Pregnant Belly was slightly raised, and nestled in Jiang Xusheng’s arms, he resembled a docile newborn lamb, eager to press every part of his skin against Jiang Xusheng.

Jiang Xusheng held him close, meticulously wiping his wounds and changing the dressing.

Wang Shu was afraid of pain, so his slender arms tightly hugged the man’s neck, his nose pressed against the man’s ear.

The omega’s Gland was the only area that wasn’t sensitive; the soles of his feet and calves had normal pain perception.

While the dressing was being changed, he whimpered, enduring the pain, his warm breath blowing into Jiang Xusheng’s ear.

Jiang Xusheng had stopped him the first time, telling him that this was unacceptable.

Wang Shu thought he was being rejected and hid under the blanket to wipe his tears. His already blind-like eyes swelled up like small walnuts. He was delicate and clingy, and his voice was enough to make one’s heart itch.

Even though Jiang Xusheng couldn’t smell Pheromones, by touching his wife’s smooth skin, he could imagine that the bedroom must be saturated with his scent.

The fragrance seeping from Wang Shu’s skin made him feel like a bubble drowning in roses; if squeezed, it would release a rich aroma.

Wang Shu was obedient and tried hard not to cry out in pain.

Yet, he couldn’t help but be clingy.

Jiang Xusheng was a man, and he decided to give Wang Shu a little hardship to make his young wife understand the consequences of disobedience.

So, this morning, when Wang Shu was still groggy and not fully awake, he felt a dull ache in his lower abdomen—the sensation of the baby gradually stretching the Gestational Sac.

Feeling uncomfortable, he rubbed his lower abdomen against Jiang Xusheng, wanting his stomach to be massaged.

Jiang Xusheng rubbed it for him. Wang Shu felt better, buried his head in the man’s shoulder, and quietly asked, “Mr. Jiang, can you hold me for a while?”

Even though he felt the change in Jiang Xusheng’s body, he still believed he wouldn’t be harmed during pregnancy, blinking his eyes expectantly, his ears turning red.

Jiang Xusheng decided to teach him a lesson, making his young wife understand that lighting a fire on a man was not a wise choice.

When Wang Shu was still half-asleep, something was already stuffed into his mouth. His mouth was small, making him look even more pitiful.

When Secretary Chen called, Wang Shu was still eating.

Jiang Xusheng indulged and coaxed him, but that didn’t mean he would tolerate everything.

Having suffered hardship early in the morning, Wang Shu’s mouth was slightly swollen, and his throat carried Mr. Jiang’s taste.

He sat foolishly by the bed until Jiang Xusheng wiped himself clean, picked him up again, and made him open his mouth for inspection.

“Will there be a next time?” Jiang Xusheng asked him.

Wang Shu’s cheeks were flushed, and he finally shook his head obediently. “I won’t dare…”

Jiang Xusheng had warned him several times not to act spoiled, but he still couldn’t bear to be away from him, so being punished was deserved.

The omega’s eyelashes were still damp with tears, and he pouted, looking unhappy.

He hadn’t meant to act spoiled on purpose.

Jiang Xusheng asked him why he was crying.

Wang Shu said his mouth hurt.

Jiang Xusheng asked, “Do you want to be coaxed?”

    Wang Shu whispered, “Can I?”

Actually, he just wanted a kiss. Even if Mr. Jiang punished him and bullied him, he was willing.

But Jiang Xusheng told him that feelings were fair. If a husband made his wife do something she didn’t want to, the wife could similarly make a request.

    The same request?

By the time Wang Shu realized it, he had already been consumed.

At ten o’clock, the suite called the housekeeper, requesting a new set of bedsheets, as the original ones had been soaked by a small cup of water and were unusable.

When Secretary Chen came to the room at noon to deliver documents, Wang Shu was sitting on the sofa, wrapped in a small blanket, quietly drinking a cup of milk.

His thin eyelids were very red; one look was enough to tell he had been crying.

Secretary Chen thought that this Young Master’s future days would likely be filled with hardship.

Mr. Jiang had eradicated the entire Wang Family, which in ancient times would be considered akin to extermination.

Since the Wang Family had fallen, he had no one to rely on. Being pregnant, he could only cling to his enemy, which was truly pitiful.

Wang Shu noticed Secretary Chen’s gaze. Seeing the folder in his hand, he slowly got up. “Are you going to talk business with Mr. Jiang? I can step out…”

He couldn’t stand steadily; his legs were surprisingly weak.

“Speak,” Jiang Xusheng emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a bathrobe and supported Wang Shu.

Wang Shu looked somewhat afraid of Jiang Xusheng, lowering his head docilely and sitting back down on the sofa.

Just now, he had been bitten so… uncontrollably.

Jiang Xusheng laughed at him, calling him a child who wanted to pee but didn’t know how to go to the toilet.

Because of that sentence, he didn’t dare to look up at anyone.

Jiang Xusheng acted as if nothing had happened, taking the documents to read.

Secretary Chen said, “Six companies meet your requirements. Bidding will take place at the banquet later.”

The most important aspect of this evening’s banquet was not charity or auction, but corporate bidding.

After Xieshu Pharmaceutical obtained the National Standard, Inhibitors would be continuously supplied to every hospital in the country.

The transportation of raw materials by sea, and the logistics of finished products after factory production, whether by air or land, required long-term partners.

The volume was large, the demand was high, and they possessed the National Standard. Combining these three factors, companies that could partner with Xieshu Pharmaceutical could net billions annually.

Such enormous profit margins would tempt companies of any size. The number of bidding companies reached over a thousand.

Countless people had fought tooth and nail to submit their documents, and after careful selection, only six remained.

Wang Shu noticed one company among them: Hua’an Logistics.

That seemed to be Shen Xiao’s brother’s company…

Formal attire was required for the evening banquet.

However, Wang Shu had injuries on his arms and calves, wrapped in bandages. Jiang Xusheng chose a comfortable outfit for him: a simple white shirt with rolled-up sleeves. Walking was still uncomfortable, his steps unsteady.

Secretary Chen recalled that Wang Shu had been very excited when preparing to attend the banquet a few days ago.

    Today, however, he seemed listless.

While Jiang Xusheng was buttoning the straps of his overalls in the bedroom, he noticed Wang Shu’s lack of energy and asked, “Did I bite you too hard?”

Wang Shu’s ear tips were slightly red. “No…”

On the contrary, it wasn’t painful; it was very comfortable…

He had always been hesitant to engage in overly intimate acts with Mr. Jiang because their first time had been so painful it almost drew blood.

But he hadn’t expected certain places could be consumed, and pleasantly so.

If Mr. Jiang hadn’t taught him, he probably would never have known.

An omega’s energy is limited during pregnancy. Having been thoroughly consumed by Jiang Xusheng early in the morning, all his energy for the day had been left in the man’s mouth. Now, he was sleepy.

After the last incident, Jiang Xusheng didn’t want him to leave his sight.

When the banquet began, Jiang Xusheng was surrounded by numerous directors, socializing.

Secretary Chen accompanied Wang Shu, who sat in a corner, eating a small orange cake.

“Is that the Illegitimate Son Jiang Xusheng married?”

“Tsk tsk, his life must be tough…”

“So many people from the Wang Family are in jail. Do you think Mr. Jiang is stupid? He’s probably already tired of playing with him.”

“Didn’t you see the injuries on his body? They were probably caused by that one!”

Wang Shu’s eyelids were red from crying, and he had multiple scars. Sitting in the corner, he looked extremely pitiful.

His eyes hadn’t fully recovered. After eating the cake for a while, he frowned slightly.

Secretary Chen genuinely felt sorry for the Young Master.

He leaned over to block some people’s view, lowering his body to ask, “Are you feeling unwell?”

    Wang Shu nodded.

Secretary Chen tentatively touched his forehead and asked, “Where does it hurt? Should I call Mr. Jiang over?”

Wang Shu crooked his finger, signaling Secretary Chen to lean closer.

“Brother Chen…” Wang Shu’s voice was soft, laced with a hint of confusion. Holding the exquisite orange cake in both hands, he asked, “Why doesn’t this taste good…”

“The one on TV looked delicious. Very fragrant.”

“I want a strawberry one. Do you have any?”

Secretary Chen was slightly stunned by his request. He looked up and saw Wang Shu’s smiling, crescent-shaped eyes. In that instant, he seemed to understand why omegas were always so alluring.

After working for so long, this was the first time he had betrayed his boss from the bottom of his heart, thinking that his boss’s wife was very cute and wondering how his boss could bear to hurt him.
