After Dressing Up As A Woman, My Roommates All Kissed Me Chapter 11
byChapter 11 Mama, I think he’s in trouble Q…
Qin Zhou was radiating low pressure. He snatched the form from the class monitor’s hand, signed it with a flourish, shoved it back at the monitor, and turned to leave, only to be caught by the arm.
The class monitor flipped the form over and over, looking hesitant. The signature was so illegible that even Qin Zhou’s mother wouldn’t recognize it—was it usable?
But Qin Zhou’s face was truly dark. If he went to reprint it now and asked Qin Zhou to sign again, his own eyes might turn black from exhaustion. He decided to wait until tomorrow.
The monitor held Qin Zhou for a few seconds, then released him before he could erupt. “Qin Zhou, thanks for cooperating. Take care, no need to see you out.”
Qin Zhou turned and walked away. The water stains on the stairs had evaporated considerably, leaving only a faint outline. A sense of urgency rose in Qin Zhou’s heart, and he strode quickly upward.
The footprints disappeared on the floor of his dormitory. He followed the trail step by step.
Thump—
Thump—
Thump—
Pei Yisheng’s heart was pounding rapidly, as if sensing some impending doom. He sped up the process of dismantling the hair tie, but haste made waste. His fingers got tangled in the ribbon and couldn’t be pulled out. When he tugged hard, circular red marks were left on his fingers.
Operating with his hands raised above his head, his arms quickly grew sore. Pei Yisheng frowned. “Girls have it so hard. Can’t I just cut this thing off?”
He struggled to free one hand and fiddled with it until he finally managed to untangle it. The rest was simple.
He took off his clothes, preparing for a hot shower. Just as he turned on the showerhead and before the steam could rise, a silhouette suddenly appeared on the frosted glass door.
Pei Yisheng’s eyes widened. He frantically tried to recall if he had locked the door, then lunged toward the door and braced himself against it with his hand.
“Excuse me, I’m taking a shower.”
Pei Yisheng took the initiative, staring at the blurry figure outside, guessing who it was and why they were knocking at this hour.
While waiting for a response, he bit his lip tightly to maintain composure, and simultaneously searched the bathroom for a hidden corner to stash the clothes he had carelessly stripped off.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was impeccably tidy. The few cabinets were already filled with toiletries and cleaning products, leaving no space for the dress he had worn back.
His heart felt like it was about to leap out of his throat.
Qin Zhou stared at the faint, flickering white skin visible through the frosted glass and said distractedly, “Then you go ahead and wash.”
Pei Yisheng recognized Qin Zhou’s voice and sighed in relief. Qin Zhou wouldn’t likely barge into the bathroom, nor was he interested in seeing anyone naked besides the Protagonist Shou. He went limp, leaning against the door for support.
“I’ll be quick.”
After saying that, he dragged his weak legs and stepped under the shower.
He brainstormed while showering, his mind consumed with how to hide the clothes. Fortunately, he had good habits; he had placed his shoes in the shoebox by the door as soon as he entered, saving him some explanation.
Pei Yisheng had no idea his thinking was completely off track, confidently believing he was still racing through the novel’s plot.
Qin Zhou watched the patch of fair skin move away. The intermittent sound of water in the bathroom almost allowed one to visualize what stage the person inside had reached.
He suddenly felt like a pervert. It was just a man showering; he had showered before. Why was he imagining how the other person was washing?
Qin Zhou suppressed the rising irritation, grasping at the last straw by instructing his brain to recall the long-haired girl. Gradually, whether due to a memory lapse or his inability to concentrate fully, the long-haired girl’s silhouette began to overlap with Pei Yisheng’s.
Qin Zhou: “…”
Absurd.
He must be going crazy.
He dared not think further, afraid of conjuring up more strange overlaps.
He waited in silence, completely unaware of the passage of time, only realizing that he had sat stiffly in the same position when Pei Yisheng came out to greet him.
“Were you planning to use the restroom? I’m done now, but the steam won’t dissipate that quickly. I suggest you wait a moment.”
Qin Zhou’s original intention wasn’t to use the bathroom. Well, maybe it was, but he only wanted to see who was inside. He had followed the footprints all the way to his dorm room door, where they vanished.
He thought he had found the answer easily. Regardless of whose girlfriend this girl was, she could also be his girlfriend.
He had never been a Cao Thief before, and he was quite keen to try.
When he entered, the only movement was in the bathroom. Qin Zhou raised an eyebrow, thinking they were playing a big game. He was fearless, having seen everything in his circle, and immediately walked over.
He hadn’t expected it to be only Pei Yisheng.
How could it only be Pei Yisheng?
“I want to know, did you see a long-haired girl? Chestnut, slightly wavy long hair, very tall, wearing a white short dress. The style…” Qin Zhou couldn’t quite describe it. “It was layered, very pretty.”
Pei Yisheng: “Ah?!”
His shock was completely undisguised. Qin Zhou saw him?!
He chased him here!!!
“N-n-no…”
“It’s just a girl coming in. You either saw her or you didn’t. Why are you stuttering?” Qin Zhou’s expression was cold, revealing a hint of imperceptible annoyance, yet mixed with an unknown, secret delight.
He knew it. Pei Yisheng definitely couldn’t hide a girl. Where could that person have gone? Did he lose the trail because the water evaporated too quickly? Qin Zhou felt his fists itching, needing some intimate contact with someone.
He stood up and walked away. Pei Yisheng didn’t dare to stop him.
As soon as Qin Zhou left, he quickly pulled the dress from behind his back, wadded it up, and stuffed it under his quilt.
There were no blind spots in the bathroom, so his back was the safest place. As long as he didn’t let Qin Zhou see the bulge on his back, he could transfer the little skirt once he went to the restroom. He hadn’t expected Qin Zhou to leave before he needed to.
But his hands were still shaking after hiding the skirt. Pei Yisheng told himself to calm down, but every time he recalled the slightly gentler expression Qin Zhou wore when asking about the girl, he felt like crying without tears.
Mama, I think he’s in trouble QAQ
He lay on the bed, utterly defeated, feeling like life had thoroughly had its way with him.
Qin Zhou returned feeling refreshed. Seeing Pei Yisheng lying on the bed, he didn’t say anything, grabbed his clothes, and headed to the bathroom to shower, thinking about who he could ask to get the surveillance footage from the dorm corridor.
Rules, in his eyes, were nonsense. There was nothing he couldn’t know, only things he didn’t care to know.
Although it was a pity he didn’t find the person today, extending the anticipation was a novel experience.
Qin Zhou put on his bathrobe. The moment he opened the bathroom door, he thought he smelled the scent of orange blossom. When he concentrated and sniffed again, there was only the smell of his own shower gel.
Too many ambiguous illusions had occurred tonight. Qin Zhou was starting to wonder if he was sick and had seen a female ghost.
After all, it was near midnight: wet rain, waist-length hair, a white tiered short dress, beautiful legs and a slender waist, and the glimpse of a delicate profile—all perfectly aligned with his aesthetic preferences.
It was too perfect; it would be reasonable if it were just a dream.
He looked at the only two living people in the dorm.
Pei Yisheng had finally recovered slightly, propping himself up on his arms. He straightened his arm to pull the bed curtain shut. His collar shifted during the movement, revealing a patch of white neck hollow.
Qin Zhou looked away as if burned, his gaze drifting to Pei Yisheng’s hands. They were slender and long-fingered, clearly belonging to someone pampered, but for some reason, there were several messy red marks on his knuckles, as if they had been forcefully tied.
His eyes shifted back to Pei Yisheng’s face, just as Pei Yisheng pulled the curtain until only his head was visible. “Well, good night.”
“Mm.” Qin Zhou watched Pei Yisheng disappear behind the dark blue curtain.
Yet, the image of those red-marked fingers remained in his mind.
Beautiful.
Having been overly stimulated this evening, Qin Zhou couldn’t sleep at all. An hour later, after Pei Yisheng had fallen into a deep sleep, Qin Zhou flipped over, got up, and called Lin Jiayu out for a drive.
Late at night, it was the perfect time for extreme sports.
Lin Jiayu came out yawning, tears almost squeezing out of the corners of his eyes. “Young Master, do we really have to do this?”
Qin Zhou, already in his racing suit, was about to duck into the car. Hearing the question, he glanced at him. “You can just sit in the stands. Call a few people to keep you company if you want.”
Ah, Lin Jiayu knew that line well. It meant Qin Zhou intended to race until dawn.
He instinctively picked up his phone to call people. The second generation lived freely; midnight was prime time for activity, and he could summon a swarm with one call.
Qin Zhou ignored him, got in the car, and roared off with a stomp on the accelerator.
The semi-open professional track, even after the rain, didn’t affect Qin Zhou’s performance. Every corner and straightaway released his restless energy.
The roaring engine maximized adrenaline secretion. Qin Zhou became increasingly absorbed, even breaking his own club record.
Men and women screamed and cheered in the stands. The checkered flag waved at his finish line, and the new record flashed dynamically on the electronic screen, announcing the night’s frenzy.
As soon as he got out of the car, Lin Jiayu and the crowd surrounded him.
“That’s awesome, Old Qin! You were so cool!”
Lin Jiayu punched him on the shoulder. Qin Zhou chuckled, highly satisfied with himself.
The racing suit, which accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow waist, fit perfectly. Taking off his helmet, his cold, arrogant face was even more captivating than his physique.
Qin Zhou opened the champagne sent by the manager to celebrate. As the liquid and foam sprayed everywhere, Qin Zhou’s voice was extremely seductive. “Let’s go to Yunding Club.”
“Yeah!”
“Boss, you’re the best!”
“Damn! It was worth coming!”
Yunding Club was the most exclusive establishment in their area. Financial verification was just the threshold; one also needed to pass rigorous assessment to obtain a membership card. Only seven or eight people in their circle could go freely; the rest were just tagging along.
Qin Zhou’s card was definitely VVVVIP. Going with Qin Zhou was a pure eye-opener.
The group screamed like wild monkeys, quickly jumping into their cars, afraid of being left behind. Lin Jiayu and Qin Zhou walked slowly behind them.
Lin Jiayu was fully energized now and volunteered to drive.
Qin Zhou let him. He was satisfied with his own fun. He pulled out his phone, the light flickering on his face, looking at something.
Lin Jiayu casually glanced over. Ordering external medicine?
“Old Qin, are you hurt?!” Lin Jiayu was startled and was about to pull the car over to check where Qin Zhou was injured.
A trace of awkwardness appeared between Qin Zhou’s brows. He casually selected a few items and paid. “It’s not for me. You saw wrong.”
“I saw you use facial recognition payment. Why buy medicine if you’re not sick?”
“Too much money burning a hole in my pocket. Just drive.”
Qin Zhou looked out the window, the image of Pei Yisheng’s bruised knuckles flashing before his eyes.
