The Flower Of The High Mountain Is Pregnant With The Son Of The Sand Sculpture Ceo Chapter 4
byChapter 4: Are You Gay and Proud of It?……
Pei Yumin had specifically called last night to secure this “part-time” position.
He hadn’t expected the guy to be so sharp, immediately realizing he was doing it for Lu Shangyan.
Tang Suichen met Pei Yumin’s gaze, a mischievous smile spilling from his eyes, before he deliberately shifted his attention to Lu Shangyan: “Hello, little Shangyan. Haven’t we met somewhere before?”
Before Lu Shangyan could speak, Pei Yumin quickly introduced him: “He’s the cleaning supervisor here, and a friend of mine. You probably saw him at the bar a few days ago.”
Tang Suichen instantly dropped several ranks from being an heir. He was so amused that he stood there, hands on his hips, spinning around several times.
Finally, he resignedly found his personal secretary to come down and pretend to conduct the boss’s interview.
Though called a personal secretary, he was actually a glaring spy planted by Tang Suichen’s father to help him solve problems and keep an eye on him.
Tang Suichen, spoiled as the youngest child at home, had done many foolish and crazy things growing up. His father was genuinely afraid his heart would give out if he kept being shocked like this in his old age, so he wanted him to settle down and prevent Tang Suichen from ruining himself.
When Song Yuxin first arrived as Tang Suichen’s secretary, Tang Suichen was very resistant. That was until Song Yuxin systematically managed to dissuade all the various people Tang Suichen had slept with, flirted with, and who were relentlessly pursuing him.
Only then did Tang Suichen slowly realize the benefits of having him around. From accompanying him during his studies abroad to becoming his secretary, Song Yuxin had stayed for nine years.

After Lu Shangyan successfully started his new job, his financial pressure significantly eased.
But he still didn’t dare to stop. He hadn’t left any of the part-time job groups he was in before. As long as it was work he could do, regardless of the pay, he would take it.
Pei Yumin had always thought that “cohabiting” would lead to more opportunities to meet, but who knew that for a whole week, he hadn’t managed to exchange more than a few words with him.
Tang Suichen even commented, “You gave him too many benefits at once. You fed him until he was full, so naturally, he’s too lazy to bother with you.”
Pei Yumin told him, “He doesn’t know my identity at all.”
Tang Suichen countered, “Precisely because he doesn’t know your identity, he thinks you have no further benefits to offer. If you look at it that way, he’s running away quite slowly.”
Pei Yumin frowned, highly displeased with Tang Suichen’s baseless fabrication: “He is absolutely not that kind of person.”
Seeing that he was serious, Tang Suichen immediately stopped smiling: “How are you so sure?”
Pei Yumin said, “I’ve known for a long time. Anyway, I know what he’s like better than you do.”
“He is my first love. I decided on him long ago. In this life, I can only be with him.”
Tang Suichen stopped joking. Pondering Pei Yumin’s words, he suddenly asked, “You said last time at the bar wasn’t your first meeting—was that true? So your first love is actually a real, living person, not just a dream!”
Pei Yumin nodded. This was the absolute truth: “I’ve liked him for over two years.”
He had thought he would never see him again. He never expected to run into him again less than a month after starting work at the branch company.
If he had known it was this easy, he would have started taking over the company ages ago. But that was in the past. What bothered him now was: “You’ve chased so many people. Help me figure out how to pursue him?”
Tang Suichen stared blankly at him for nearly half a minute before bursting into a speechless laugh: “You slept with him and you live together. Haven’t you already caught him? How else do you need to pursue him?”
Pei Yumin sighed, his expression incredibly distressed: “He doesn’t like me. I need him to say he likes me, loves me, wants to be with me forever, never separating, and calls me ‘husband’ and ‘darling’ every day.”
Tang Suichen was so disgusted he got goosebumps. He genuinely wanted to smash the cup on the table over Pei Yumin’s head.
He couldn’t stay here. Rubbing his arms, he walked out: “Big Brother, you’re almost thirty. You can’t possibly still be reading Mary Sue CEO literature before bed, can you? Otherwise, how could you say something that makes me so uncomfortable?”
He fled. Pei Yumin stayed in the office for a while, then, as usual, sent a message to Lu Shangyan.
[m: I remember you don’t have other part-time jobs today. Can I pick you up after work tonight?]
Lu Shangyan was in class, two sessions back-to-back. By the time class ended and he replied, it was already past six.
[s: Yes.]
[s: You’ve helped me so much. Since I’m free today, I’ll treat you to a meal.]
Pei Yumin certainly wouldn’t miss such a good date opportunity and immediately agreed.
He even screenshotted the chat history to show off to Tang Suichen.
[m: See? He’s not the type of person who uses me and then runs off.]
Tang Suichen found it hilarious and immediately looked for something to retaliate with.
So, half an hour before Lu Shangyan finished work, Tang Suichen arrived at the hotel front desk, intimately wrapping his arm around the waist of a new young man he had found.
Lu Shangyan remembered him and couldn’t help but look over a few times. Tang Suichen looked back, his eyes full of mischief.
Tang Suichen loved to play around. Sometimes at night, he would affectionately call people “darling” while biting their ear in bed, acting as if they would never part. But the next day, once out of bed, he would turn cold and never contact them again.
His reputation as a playboy had long spread, yet many people were still willing to follow him because he was generous, and getting involved with him meant scoring many good things.
The young man had finally managed to hook up with Tang Suichen. Seeing the two of them “exchanging glances” here, he immediately grew displeased.
His hand, which was initially on Tang Suichen’s waist, slowly moved down, directly reaching into his waistband.
Tang Suichen raised an eyebrow, not stopping the action. The young man grew bolder, his provocative expression suggesting he wanted to get down to business right there in public.
Lu Shangyan had recently concluded that he liked men, but after seeing this scene, he felt he must have been possessed when he came up with that conclusion.
His most important task now wasn’t finding a boyfriend to confirm his thoughts, but performing an exorcism.
Tang Suichen saw every expression on his face. After he had seen enough, he said, “Aren’t you going to check me in?”
Lu Shangyan took his ID card. As he handed over the room key, he couldn’t help but ask, “Is the cleaning supervisor’s salary very high? High enough to afford such an expensive hotel?”
The young man next to him was about to mock him, but Tang Suichen stopped him first: “It is.”
He then deliberately added, “Pei Yumin also earns quite a bit, but after his parents found out about him and you, they kicked him out of the house. He now has unnecessary rental and living expenses, so he can’t come out and have fun anymore.”
Lu Shangyan remembered that the room he stayed in when he first slept with Pei Yumin did look quite nice.
Since Pei Yumin wasn’t selling himself, his living conditions shouldn’t be bad.
But: “Why would they kick him out just because they found out about us?”
This question completely stumped Tang Suichen.
He had thought Lu Shangyan would distance himself slightly from Pei Yumin because of this, which would stop Pei Yumin from constantly talking about his “outrageously sweet” relationship in front of him.
But unexpectedly, this Lu Shangyan did not follow the script.
Tang Suichen couldn’t help but ask him, “You’re gay, are you very proud of it?”
Lu Shangyan shook his head: “I’m not sure yet. I should only count as half-gay.”
But Tang Suichen felt like the word “proud” was practically carved onto Lu Shangyan’s forehead. Every punch he threw landed on cotton, softening him into laughter.
He had intended to cause Pei Yumin some discomfort, but now he was the one feeling more uncomfortable.
Before leaving, he could only try his best to manage his facial expression, but he couldn’t control his inexplicably clenched teeth, muttering under his breath: “You and Pei Yumin really are a match made in heaven.”
He failed to cause trouble this trip, but one of his comments stuck in Lu Shangyan’s mind.
When Pei Yumin came to pick him up that evening, Lu Shangyan had originally planned to treat them both to roadside spicy hot pot, a meal that could fill them up but still cost under a hundred yuan.
But after getting into the car and seeing Pei Yumin, he resolutely changed the destination, gritting his teeth and treating him to an all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet.
It cost ninety-nine yuan per person. Lu Shangyan’s hands were trembling as he paid.
But he still said, “It’s okay, eat all you want. You’ve helped me so much, I should treat you to a meal.”
He comforted himself, and while sweeping up the processed meat, he didn’t forget to pile a large chunk onto Pei Yumin’s plate.
Pei Yumin was initially uncomfortable, but this small amount of meat completely cured him.
In fact, after Lu Shangyan carefully selected the largest dead shrimp and placed it on his plate, Pei Yumin had fully adapted to his role.
He started actively helping Lu Shangyan grab the newly stocked beef and skewers.
With Pei Yumin’s help, Lu Shangyan’s eating speed increased significantly, allowing him to gorge himself within the limited time.
Pei Yumin couldn’t watch anymore and picked up some fresh vegetables for him: “To cut the grease.”
Lu Shangyan precisely picked them out again: “No, otherwise it won’t be worth the money. Hurry up and eat, I need to grill more.”
To make him eat less, Pei Yumin could only compete with him for the food.
But Lu Shangyan thought he was being protective of his food, so he started sweeping the ingredient display counter even more frantically. This way, while serving meat to Pei Yumin, he wouldn’t neglect his own mouth.
In the end, he managed to eat enough processed meat to get his money’s worth. The waiter breathed a sigh of relief when they left.
Pei Yumin’s stomach was bloated and uncomfortable, but his face was full of happy smiles.
He couldn’t help but ask, “Why are you being so good to me?”
Lu Shangyan was still feeling the pinch of his money, thinking he hadn’t performed well enough and could have eaten more. But upon hearing this, he instantly straightened his back and briefly recounted what happened when Tang Suichen sought him out.
He then added, “You’ve helped me so much, I should treat you to a good meal.”
If Pei Yumin weren’t so tall, and if he hadn’t yet formalized his relationship with Lu Shangyan—making him hesitant to be too intimate—he would have covered his face and thrown himself into Lu Shangyan’s arms, shyly praising him as a “good man~.”
Lu Shangyan was unaware of the turmoil in his mind. This meal cost him ten days’ worth of food money, so he needed to save now.
He thought of the two cracked plastic basins in the dorm, the slippers worn thin as paper, and most importantly, the pile of clothes he hadn’t had time to move yet.
Adhering to the principle of saving every little bit, he used the excuse of walking off the meal to go back to the dorm and pack his luggage.
“Today is Saturday. Chen Shuo, to save face, will stay out overnight even if he has no date. Now is the best time to move.”
But unexpectedly, the rule of over two years failed on this ordinary Saturday.
Lu Shangyan was climbing the stairs with his head down when, without warning, he was violently bumped on the shoulder by Chen Shuo, who was coming down.
He lost his balance and fell backward, sliding down the stairs until he stopped at the corner platform.
The impact nearly made him vomit the meal he had just eaten.
Chen Shuo looked at him with a sneer. His arm was still wrapped in gauze, and the injuries on his face hadn’t fully healed, making him look quite pathetic.
Yet, despite suffering such serious injuries, the incident hadn’t blown up at all, and Lu Shangyan was completely fine!
He felt indignant, harboring a grudge. Now that Lu Shangyan had delivered himself to his doorstep, he raised his foot again, ready to beat him up to vent.
Lu Shangyan suddenly fell backward, sprawling on the ground as if he had suffered a serious injury.
With a look of displeasure and a calm, mechanical tone, he uttered two words: “Pay up.”
