Chapter 96: This Collaboration is Rejected

After Manager Chen was driven out of Qin Tingshen’s company, no other company dared to hire him.

Shi Qingyan finally understood why Zhou Shengtang looked at him that way.

He assumed Shi Qingyan had instructed Manager Chen to make things difficult for him, hence the angry look.

What a load of bull! Every blame was pinned on him; a beating would be too light a punishment.

Xiao Zhang’s tears flowed after learning the truth.

    He had wronged Shi Qingyan.

    Sob sob sob~

Shi Qingyan, feeling down, directly called Ji Yang to go to a bar.

Qin Tingshen called Qin Haizhao, asking him to handle the work, while he followed Shi Qingyan to coax him.

    Qin Haizhao: …

Ji Yang was also very angry after hearing this. The two of them drank one cup after another as if it were water.

Qin Tingshen didn’t dare to stop them, so he could only watch with Xiao Changming from the side.

Ji Yang, after drinking enough, persuaded Shi Qingyan to leave the bar.

Back home, Shi Qingyan tugged at Qin Tingshen’s tie, dragging him into the bedroom.

Qin Tingshen obediently entered the bedroom and was pushed onto the bed by Shi Qingyan.

Shi Qingyan leaned down, pressing on top of him, “The people in your company are framing me. What do you say we do?”

Qin Tingshen smoothed his hair, “Baby, what do you want to do? I’ll listen to whatever you say.”

Shi Qingyan’s finger traced over his Adam’s apple, his eyes dark, “You’ll let me f*ck you from now on.”

Qin Tingshen flipped them over, pinning Shi Qingyan down, “Baby, that’s not fair, is it?”

Shi Qingyan’s cool hand reached in from his collar, feeling Qin Tingshen’s fiery skin.

Qin Tingshen gasped sharply from the cold.

“You just said you’d listen to whatever I say, and now you’re changing your mind.”

Qin Tingshen refused to be outdone, his hot hand slipping into Shi Qingyan’s clothes, feeling his cool skin and slowly warming him up.

    “Anything but that.”

“Hmph, all you do is say nice things to coax me.”

Shi Qingyan pushed him away and went to the bathroom to shower, covered in the smell of alcohol.

Qin Tingshen went to make ginger soup to warm him up.

Shi Qingyan had been weak since childhood and prone to illness. It was only after exercising that he became strong.

But even so, his body temperature was always lower than others in winter.

And Shi Qingyan didn’t like to bundle up, so he was always cold whenever he went out.

When Shi Qingyan came out of the bathroom, the ginger soup was ready. Qin Tingshen watched him drink it, then tucked him into bed to warm his body.

“It’s almost time for dinner. I’ll make something. What do you want to eat?”

Shi Qingyan thought for a moment, “Candied sweet potatoes, sweet and sour pork, and rou jia mo (meat sandwiches).”

“Okay, I’ll make it. You rest here and stay covered.”

Qin Tingshen tucked him in and went to the kitchen to cook.

The rou jia mo required fermented dough, so Qin Tingshen kneaded the dough first, then proceeded to make the other dishes.

After drinking the ginger soup, Shi Qingyan quickly warmed up. The room’s air conditioning was turned up high, and Shi Qingyan felt a little hot, so he simply threw off the blanket and got out of bed to play games.

Seeing him come out, Qin Tingshen dressed him warmly and let him play.

After lunch, Shi Qingyan pinned Qin Tingshen down and had a daytime romp.

Qin Tingshen’s legs were so weak that he didn’t make dinner; he ordered takeout instead.

He didn’t dare to go to his brother-in-law’s place to eat, for fear of being laughed at.

The two went to bed early that night, and the next day they went to visit Zhou Shengtang again.

Zhou Shengtang had a recurring fever, a cold, and a cough.

Xiao Zhang had already told Zhou Shengtang about yesterday, and Zhou Shengtang felt conflicted.

Previously, Manager Chen had said that Shi Qingyan had instructed him to assign him so much work, causing him to work overtime until late at night.

Now, he was told that it wasn’t Shi Qingyan who did it. Zhou Shengtang was full of confusion.

“Rest well; we’ll go back first.”

Qin Tingshen pulled Shi Qingyan to the company, but Shi Qingyan directly asked Qin Tingshen to send him to Shi’s Group.

As soon as Shi Qingyan appeared at the company, Liu Wenwen was ecstatic. It had been a long time since she had played with him, and she missed him terribly.

“Little brother, it’s been so long since you’ve been here. What brings you here today?”

Shi Qingyan pulled out a chair and sat down, “Didn’t I miss you and come to find you?”

“Oh, don’t miss me, or your husband might get jealous.”

Shi Qingyan felt like he was missing something since he didn’t have any snacks, so he ran to the office to find some.

“Why are you here? Didn’t you go to the company with Qin Tingshen?”

Shi Qingfeng was surprised to see his younger brother come to the company.

Usually, he was with Qin Tingshen every day, inseparable. Did the sun rise in the west today?

“I’ll get tired of being in the same place every day.”

Shi Qingyan answered while rummaging through cabinets for snacks.

“What are you looking for? The snacks are in the cabinet in the break room.”

    “That’s why I couldn’t find them.”

He found the snacks from the break room and happily went out to find Liu Wenwen.

One worked, the other ate snacks and watched dramas, without disturbing each other.

“Qingyan, I’m going out for a while. Call me if you need anything.”

    “Okay.”

Shi Qingyan finished the snacks in his hand and ran back to the break room to rummage again.

There weren’t many snacks left; he needed to restock them when he had time.

Coming out of the break room, he saw Assistant An putting a document on the table.

“Little President Shi, this document needs President Shi to handle it.”

Shi Qingyan picked up the document and looked at it. When he saw a certain name, he threw the document on the table. “Who is this Han Tao?”

Assistant An searched his brain but couldn’t find this person.

“I’m not sure. This company isn’t very noticeable in Jing City. Little President Shi, do you need me to check?”

Shi Qingyan nodded, “Please check it for me.”

Shi Qingyan looked at the name, chuckled, and his expression was nonchalant.

It better not be that person.

Half an hour later, Assistant An came in with a photo and handed it to Shi Qingyan.

After Shi Qingyan saw it clearly, he handed the document to Assistant An.

    “Reject this collaboration.”

Assistant An didn’t understand why Shi Qingyan wanted to reject it but obeyed absolutely.

“Okay, Little President Shi, is it convenient for me to ask why?”

Shi Qingyan pointed to the name, “This person was my university classmate. He often mocked me and Ji Yang. He’s not a good person.”

Assistant An understood and directly told the other party that they would not agree to this collaboration.

Ji Yang received a call from Shi Qingyan. After hearing what he said, he felt a burst of pleasure in his heart.

Back then, they were low-key, making their classmates think they were poor and couldn’t compare to them “rich people”.

Now that the “rich people” were begging them, they “poor people” had to take revenge.

That summer, Ji Yang stood up for Ji Wanyue and appeared at the press conference, letting his high school and university classmates know his identity.

Many went to Ji’s to discuss collaboration, but they were rejected by Ji Wanyue.

After Ji Yang showed up, he immediately told Ji Wanyue, and Ji Wanyue naturally wouldn’t collaborate with people who bullied her younger brother.

This group of people tried to find out Shi Qingyan’s identity from various sources, but they couldn’t find out.

This Han Tao had also stepped in dog sh*t luck, finding a big company that turned out to be Shi’s.

But he was unlucky, meeting Shi Qingyan.

If he hadn’t been at the company today, he would have definitely let Han Tao collaborate with Shi’s.

No, he had to tell his brother. Certain collaborations should never be discussed.

Who knew if there would be loopholes like today, with someone secretly reaching a collaboration behind his brother’s back?
