Chapter 21: Dating; You’re Such a Good Dad

Shi Qingfeng woke up in the morning and smelled a foul odor as soon as he left his room, like the bathroom had exploded.

    What’s going on?

It couldn’t have actually blown up the toilet, could it?

The closer he got to the ground floor, the stronger the smell became.

He looked around everywhere, but couldn’t find anything, yet the foul smell kept assaulting his nose, reminding him that there really was a bad odor.

    It was truly strange.

Shi Qingyan groggily came downstairs, saw Shi Qingfeng cooking in the kitchen, and collapsed back onto the sofa, squinting.

Shi Qingfeng came out after finishing cooking and asked Shi Qingyan, “Xiao Yan, have you smelled a foul odor?”

Shi Qingyan opened his eyes, his brain not quite catching up, “Huh? Foul odor? Did the toilet explode?”

After speaking, he suddenly realized that the foul odor seemed to be from the river snail rice noodles he ate last night.

Meeting Shi Qingfeng’s gaze, he immediately felt guilty.

Damn it, he forgot to open the windows to ventilate the room after eating the river snail rice noodles last night.

Though he felt guilty, he put on a facade of confusion, “Why would there suddenly be a bad odor? Is the toilet broken and backflowing?”

Shi Qingfeng was really puzzled and decided to open the windows to ventilate and see if that would work. If not, he would have someone come and deal with it.

After finishing breakfast, Shi Qingyan noticed that his brother hadn’t left.

Normally, Shi Qingfeng would go out to work, but today, he was unusually at home reading a book.

    “Brother, aren’t you busy today?”

Shi Qingyan finally couldn’t help but ask.

Shi Qingfeng turned a page in his book, “Yeah, I’ve finished all the work matters. I’m taking a day off today.”

“Oh, you should take a good rest.”

After receiving a message from Qin Tingshen, Shi Qingyan told Shi Qingfeng he was going out to play and ran out.

As soon as he left the house, he saw Qin Tingshen standing by the car outside the courtyard gate. When he saw Shi Qingyan come out, he immediately smiled broadly.

He opened the front passenger door, Shi Qingyan got into the car, and Qin Tingshen closed the door before walking around to the driver’s seat.

While starting the car, he asked him, “Baby, the movie isn’t for a while yet, do you want to go shopping?”

    Shi Qingyan nodded.

The two went to a shopping mall, heading straight for the computer section.

Shi Qingyan entered the computer section and started looking around.

He needed to replace his laptop, but he was a bit reluctant to throw it away, so he had kept it.

Now that he was here, it was a good opportunity to see if there was a suitable one.

Qin Tingshen took a laptop and handed it to Shi Qingyan, “Baby, how about this one?”

Shi Qingyan took it and operated it a few times, finding that it was quite good.

It was better than the one he used in many aspects.

    “This one is not bad.”

After saying that, he stuffed the laptop back into Qin Tingshen’s hand, looking nonchalant, but his eyes kept glancing at his hand from time to time.

Qin Tingshen knew at a glance that this laptop was to his liking and immediately had the shop owner wrap it up.

    “Baby, this is for you.”

Qin Tingshen handed the packaged computer to Shi Qingyan.

Shi Qingyan looked at Qin Tingshen in surprise, the corner of his mouth curving into a small arc.

    “Thanks.”

Qin Tingshen looked at Shi Qingyan’s slightly arrogant little look and found it extremely adorable.

The shop owner on the side, completely lacking tact, said, “You’re such a good dad.”

He was really too good to his son, right?

And this dad looked so young.

So handsome, and so was his son.

Shi Qingyan “pfft” laughed out loud, finally covering his stomach and holding onto the counter, laughing uncontrollably.

Qin Tingshen’s face darkened, and he stared intently at the shop owner, saying each word heavily, “I, am, his, boy, friend.”

The shop owner instantly felt awkward upon hearing this, wishing he could dig out a three-bedroom apartment with his toes.

He let out a dry laugh, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I have bad eyesight. This pair of headphones is a gift for you. I wish you both a harmonious and loving life together.”

The shop owner’s desire to survive was very strong. Qin Tingshen took the headphones and left the computer section with Shi Qingyan in his arms.

“Damn it, that shop owner should donate his eyes if he doesn’t need them. What kind of eyesight does he have? Do I look that old?”

Shi Qingyan was still laughing. Hearing this, he finally managed to stop laughing and looked at Qin Tingshen.

“You’re not old, you’re quite young.”

Qin Tingshen looked at Shi Qingyan in his white T-shirt and blue jeans, which, combined with his face, made him look like a fifteen or sixteen-year-old teenager.

    And what about himself?

Wearing a black suit and with his hair combed meticulously and gelled, he looked like a younger, age-defying father no matter how you looked at it.

Walking together with Shi Qingyan, it really felt like “father and son.”

    Qin Tingshen wasn’t happy.

So, Qin Tingshen found a clothing store, went in, and picked out a set of clothes similar to what Shi Qingyan was wearing and changed into them.

Coming out again, he instantly transformed into a big brother next door.

It had to be said that good-looking people looked good in anything.

Qin Tingshen looked in the mirror, looking at himself who had instantly become eight or nine years younger, and was extremely satisfied.

He pulled Shi Qingyan to look in the mirror together, looking at the two of them standing together. Now this was what a couple looked like.

Qin Tingshen picked out a few more items, paid the bill, and contentedly took Shi Qingyan to find the computer store owner.

The shop owner looked up at the two of them and asked Shi Qingyan in confusion, “Where’s the gentleman from just now? How did you change to a… big brother?”

Looking at the shop owner’s cautious appearance, Shi Qingyan laughed again.

Hearing himself being called big brother, Qin Tingshen proudly put his arm around Shi Qingyan’s shoulder, “Boss, don’t you recognize me?”

Hearing the familiar voice, the shop owner stared with wide eyes, carefully examining Qin Tingshen.

“Good heavens, sir, you look like a different person! Now you look more like a couple.”

Qin Tingshen was already outstanding-looking, and dressed up like this, he looked like a sunny senior in college.

Shedding the coldness of a CEO, his smiling face and radiant appearance were particularly eye-catching.

Many people couldn’t help but look sideways, and some even boldly asked for his WeChat. Qin Tingshen smiled proudly, “I’m not adding anyone, and I have a boyfriend.”

The other party was somewhat disappointed, then put on a “I’ve found my ship” expression.

This made Qin Tingshen extremely pleased.

The tail behind him wagged back and forth, wagging extremely happily.

After wandering around for a while, it was already noon. Qin Tingshen took him to eat hot pot.

Looking at the fiery red pots on the other tables, Qin Tingshen only felt that his butt hurt a little.

He couldn’t handle spicy food very well.

Shi Qingyan directly ordered a yin-yang pot, ordered what he liked to eat, and then handed the menu to Qin Tingshen to let him order.

Qin Tingshen ordered a few items and had the waiter prepare them.

While waiting for the dishes to be served, Qin Tingshen held Shi Qingyan’s hand and played with it.

After a few days of getting along, Shi Qingyan’s attitude towards Qin Tingshen had changed significantly.

Before, he looked at him with all sorts of displeasure, acting like he was looking at an enemy, running away as soon as he saw him.

Now that they were boyfriends, his attitude had softened a lot, and he no longer swore at him every other word.

This made Qin Tingshen so happy that he could wake up laughing at night.

Shi Qingyan only regarded Qin Tingshen as a friend, and didn’t have those kinds of thoughts for the time being.

At the time, he was annoyed by Qin Tingshen’s constant pestering and even overbearing behavior, which was why he disliked him.

After these few days of getting along, he felt that it was not bad.

He was quite suitable to be a boyfriend.

He was countless times better than that ex-boyfriend.

Damn it, how did he fall for that scumbag in the first place?

    Damn.
