Chapter 86: The Effect of Rehabilitation

Lin Sui came out with hot ginger tea and saw a scene of a person and a cat facing off against each other. He was stunned for a moment before he couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

Then he received a resentful look from Gu Nian.

“Cough.” Lin Sui coughed lightly, walked over and put the ginger tea into Gu Nian’s hand to warm his hands, and smoothed the cat’s fur, playing the master of balance, coaxing, “Nian Nian just came and is a little stressed and uncomfortable. He likes you very much too.”

Gu Nian curled his lips. This cat didn’t seem stressed at all. It had only been here for a short time and had already occupied his sofa, and it kept meowing at him.

But meeting Lin Sui’s expectant gaze, he reluctantly said, “Alright.”

He quickly added, “But you can’t hold him recently. His skin disease hasn’t healed, and it’s contagious to you.”

When he spoke, Gu Nian looked righteous, as if he was entirely concerned for Lin Sui. Lin Sui smiled and nodded, not thinking much about it.

After all, Gu Nian was an adult, how could he slander a cute little cat because of personal grudges?

Meanwhile, the black cat’s pupils dilated slightly. It looked at the annoying human who threw it down in disbelief and meowed frantically.

If it could speak human language, it would probably be all censored sounds right now.

    It was cursing very filthily.

Lin Sui didn’t understand the cat’s accusations. He bent down and looked at the black cat’s dull fur, worried. “It looks like he’s very stressed. Or is there something wrong with his body? I heard that cats are very tolerant animals, and it’s already very serious when it flares up. Should we put him in the hospital for observation for a while?”

Gu Nian couldn’t wait for that to happen and nodded with feigned nonchalance. “That’s fine too.”

The black cat seemed to understand what they were saying and forcibly stopped its meowing. It rubbed its head against Lin Sui’s ankle, and its tail hooked around Lin Sui’s leg. There seemed to be tears in its black eyes, filled with a faint fear.

Because it had been abandoned, it felt uneasy at the slightest disturbance.

Lin Sui was moved by his own imagination and stroked the black cat’s head with teary eyes, “I’ll give you something delicious to eat later.”

The black cat immediately nestled obediently at Lin Sui’s feet, raised its furry head, and meowed twice in a pinched voice. Its round, dark eyes were still wet, and its dependent appearance almost made Lin Sui want to grab the cat’s head and kiss it hard.

    Gu Nian: …

Gu Nian didn’t know what happened, but Lin Sui obviously didn’t plan to send the cat to the hospital, and he couldn’t say it directly or he’d seem scheming. He could only reluctantly accept this new member.

Lin Sui prepared the best kitten-specific milk for Nian Nian. The cat, with a full belly, immediately became sleepy. The kitten’s energy was limited, and it had suffered so much before. Even though it wanted to stick to Lin Sui, it irresistibly tilted its head and fell asleep, sleeping sprawled out in its cat bed. You could even hear its little purrs.

Lin Sui couldn’t help but sigh. Perhaps this was fate. It was usually difficult for a cat that had been abandoned to build trust in people again, but Nian Nian seemed to like him from the beginning, and it didn’t feel uneasy in an unfamiliar environment.

However, while the kitten wasn’t stressed, a 300+ month old baby was.

Lin Sui turned his head and, as expected, saw Gu Nian sitting on the sofa watching the news with a cold face. He was emitting an aura of unhappiness, and he was glancing over here from time to time, as if a grown-up cat was archly waving its tail, saying, “Come and coax me.”

    So cute.

Lin Sui walked over with a smile, sat on Gu Nian’s lap familiarly, looked into his eyes, and smiled. “What’s wrong? Why are you so unhappy?”

Gu Nian sourly thought, “Don’t you know?” But he said the opposite, “Nothing.”

“Okay.” Lin Sui nodded. The next second, he took the initiative to hug Gu Nian’s neck and rubbed against him, “But I’m a little unhappy.”

Gu Nian immediately threw his petty thoughts to the back of his mind, frowned, and comforted, “The kitten is doing well. It will definitely survive.”

Lin Sui paused, his heart softening. He could tell that Gu Nian didn’t really want a cat, but he was willing to take good care of it for his sake.

He couldn’t help but rub the wronged big cat. “But there’s another cat who’s in a bad mood, urging me to coax him.”

It took a while for Gu Nian to realize that the cat he was talking about was himself. His ears turned red with embarrassment. He didn’t seem to expect Lin Sui to notice, but he didn’t refute it. Instead, he put his head on Lin Sui’s neck and rubbed it very gently.

    Like a spoiled big tiger.

Lin Sui ran his fingers through the man’s black hair, massaging him slowly and steadily, his voice gentle. “Why did you say I abandoned you again today?”

Gu Nian, hugging the fragrant and soft person in his arms, relaxed a lot and said in a muffled voice, “You never tell me when you encounter trouble. You carry it all alone.”

The man’s tone wasn’t much different from usual, but Lin Sui inexplicably heard a hint of grievance. His heart felt as sweet as honey.

He seriously reflected on himself. Because he had been alone for most of his life in his previous life, he was used to solving everything by himself and enduring pain alone.

But now he wasn’t a child that no one loved. Someone would pamper him, coax him, be sad because he wasn’t dependent enough, offer all their love to him, and treat him like the most precious pearl in the world.

Lin Sui couldn’t help but prick up his ears, actively curled himself up, and stuffed himself tightly into Gu Nian’s arms, humming softly, “I’m sorry, I’ll tell you everything in the future. Don’t be sad, okay?”

Gu Nian “Mm”ed and hugged the youth in his arms even tighter.

Lin Sui sweetly enjoyed the loving hug for a while, then suddenly remembered something. He struggled to get out of Gu Nian’s arms, raised his head, and asked curiously, “Then when you said I “abandoned you again”, when was the last time?”

Gu Nian’s expression, which was dissatisfied because his arms were empty, froze instantly. His eyes were a little shifty.

Lin Sui was just asking casually, but Gu Nian’s reaction immediately piqued his interest. He clung to him and used all his strength to get an answer.

The methods he used included but were not limited to pulling on his arm and acting spoiled, kissing his cheeks to please him, or rubbing against him and humming softly.

Lin Sui looked at Gu Nian’s increasingly solemn expression and deepening eyes and felt a little strange, but he didn’t think much about it and pitifully begged, “Just tell me.”

Gu Nian finally couldn’t bear it anymore and held the restless little guy down, his deep voice tinged with a hint of hoarseness. “Tell you if you stop moving.”

Lin Sui immediately turned into a well-behaved doll and stood still, looking at him expectantly.

Gu Nian breathed out a sigh of relief, feeling a sense of relief, and said softly, “You had a little trouble at school back then, and I helped smooth things over.”

He said it very vaguely, but Lin Sui had only gone to school a few times, so he quickly realized which time it was—when he was bullied by a rich kid and treated specially by the teacher. But he didn’t feel wronged, because the two of them had apologized on their knees the next day. So Gu Nian had done it secretly.

Gu Nian’s relationship with him wasn’t very good at that time, and he thought the other party wouldn’t care about such things at all. He didn’t expect him to secretly settle it for him.

Lin Sui found it difficult to describe how he felt. This feeling of being carefully cared for was too good. In the end, a thousand words turned into a passionate kiss. He lowered his head, cupped Gu Nian’s face, and pressed his lips against his. His long eyelashes drooped quietly, casting a small, ambiguous shadow.

Gu Nian’s breathing instantly became much heavier. At first, the kiss was led by Lin Sui, which was very passionate and also very inexperienced, only aimlessly exploring unfamiliar territory. However, he didn’t know when Gu Nian seized the initiative, and the sound of water between their lips and teeth gradually intensified, adding a touch of eroticism.

Lin Sui’s waist couldn’t help but sink down from the kiss, and his whole body softened. He could only hold onto Gu Nian’s collar to keep from falling down.

Gu Nian seemed to have noticed the youth’s embarrassment and supported Lin Sui’s waist with his rough palm, but before Lin Sui could breathe a sigh of relief, his back tensed up again.

—Gu Nian’s hand did support him, but but but but, why was he touching him so much, he was almost touching his butt!

Lin Sui’s whole body turned red. He was both scared and a little expectant. The inexperienced little guy who had never experienced such things was like a kitten who had just begun to explore the world, tentatively stretching out its tender claws and touching him. “Gu Nian…”

His voice was shaky and soft. Gu Nian kissed the tip of Lin Sui’s nose and said hoarsely, “Don’t be afraid.”

Lin Sui closed his eyes and wasn’t comforted at all. Instead, he was burned by the other party’s hot breath and wanted to escape in a panic.

Gu Nian took a deep breath and held him down, forcing Lin Sui to stick tightly to Gu Nian’s obvious bulge. Lin Sui blinked his eyes in a daze, it hurt.

Lin Sui was a little confused.

He slowly raised his head, looked at Gu Nian’s even fiercer eyes, and swallowed, trembling.

He seemed to know what it was.

Lin Sui swore that he really didn’t do it on purpose just now. He knew very little about this aspect. He didn’t need to think about it in his previous life when he was paralyzed from the waist down, and he hadn’t thought about it in this life because Gu Nian was paralyzed. In addition, he had always been busy with earning money and his studies, so his desire in this area had always been very low.

But even if he didn’t understand, he knew that Gu Nian was like this now definitely because of him. Lin Sui cautiously met the man’s fiery gaze and lowered his head with a cowardice.

Lin Sui stared blankly at the fingerprints on his fingers. To be honest, he was both happy and scared now. On the one hand, Gu Nian could… which meant that the rehabilitation was effective, although the way the effect was manifested was very strange, but at least it showed that Gu Nian had hope of standing up.

But on the other hand, that size, would kill someone, right?

Lin Sui could clearly feel something pushing against him, so the more he thought about it, the more scared he became.

Gu Nian couldn’t help himself when he saw Lin Sui blushing all over because of shyness. He grabbed Lin Sui’s hand and lowered it, his lips close to Lin Sui’s red ears, his voice magnetic like a siren in the deep sea, bewitching the kind and simple little fisherman on the shore.

“Sui Sui, baby, help me, okay?”
