IM Chapter 17
by Volare“Ah Jue, is that you?”
“It’s me.”
Shen ChiTai was about to speak when the alpha lowered his head silently and leaned against him.
“Brother.”
“What’s wrong?”
Shang Jue didn’t speak, but Shen ChiTai heard a rustling sound, especially clear in the dark night.
“What are you doing? Are you crazy? Hurry up and untie me!”
Shang Jue tied his hands together and forcibly raised them above his head, “Unless you’re not afraid of Dad hearing, then go ahead and scream.”
Shen ChiTai was stunned, twisting his body back and forth with force, “Ah Jue, don’t joke around like this, it’s not funny at all, hurry up and let me go.”
“No one is joking with you.” Shang Jue was kissing his earlobe.
“You’re crazy, Shang Jue, don’t… um…” The omega couldn’t break free, and the eyes hidden in the darkness slowly turned red. The body that had been twisting and resisting gradually stopped. “You’re clearly dating someone else, how can you do this?”
Shang Jue’s body froze slightly, and he stopped to stare at the omega who said those words, “Who said I’m dating?”
“You’re not dating her?”
“Her? You mean Li Yuan? I only agreed to try dating her before. I made it clear to her on the way back today that I don’t like her.”
Shen ChiTai: “…” He wanted to slap that mouth, but when he thought about how he had taught that person, he couldn’t bear to slap himself.
“Even so, stay away from me. I still have a boyfriend, I can’t do this with you.”
“Can’t we just help each other out as brothers? We used to do it before.”
“…” Just helping each other out as brothers?
If Shen ChiTai had heard these words in the past, he might have used such a clumsy excuse to comfort himself and not take it to heart, but now, hearing them, the omega only felt they were grating.
He closed his eyes in frustration, not wanting to look at Shang Jue’s face, “Ah Jue, if you still consider me your brother, let me go first.”
“Isn’t that what you taught me before?” Shang Jue kissed his neck like a madman, biting at the spot where the omega had already scratched the skin raw. That warmth traveled all the way down, showing no sign of stopping. “You used to say that brothers should be united, loving, and help each other. Anyway, you also have this need every morning, and the feeling of doing it yourself is different from having someone else do it. Are you sure you don’t want to try it?”
“I don’t want to at all, and I don’t have that need every day.” Who does that kind of thing every morning? “Besides, even if I really need it, I have a boyfriend, so it wouldn’t be your turn anyway.”
“Boyfriend?” The alpha’s eyes suddenly turned cold. Every time those three words came out of the omega’s mouth, it was like a needle mercilessly stabbing into his heart. Whether Shen ChiTai said those words intentionally or unintentionally, it was enough to make the alpha lose control and go crazy.
“Brother, I don’t like hearing you talk about you and other people, it makes me angry.”
Shen ChiTai was also intimidated by what he said.
He hadn’t even gotten angry yet, what was he getting angry about?
The omega said with a cold face, his tone almost indifferent, “Before I get angry, you better hurry up and let me go.”
“Does brother really hate me that much?” Shang Jue looked up at him with a pitiful expression.
Shen ChiTai avoided his gaze. Even if he couldn’t see Shang Jue’s pitiful face at that moment, he could probably imagine what it looked like, “This has nothing to do with hating or not. You’re going too far. You’re only pushing me further and further away. Do you understand?”
“What about you?”
“…”
“Aren’t you pushing me away right now?”
Shen ChiTai turned his head away, biting his lip tightly, not speaking.
The two of them were deadlocked for a moment, then Shang Jue let go of him and stood up, “I shouldn’t make things difficult for you. You’ve already made it very clear. It’s me who’s shamelessly forcing myself on you and making things difficult for you. I’m sorry, I won’t make things difficult for you again in the future.” The alpha lowered his head, bent down and approached to untie the restraints on his hands.
Shen ChiTai didn’t move even after he was freed. Shang Jue took two steps away. When his toes touched the ground, he paused slightly, turned his head to look at the omega curled up on the bed, “Don’t overthink it, he didn’t touch you.”
“…”
Shen ChiTai pulled the quilt over himself, wrapping himself tightly, and buried his face in the pillow, not uttering a word.
It wasn’t until he heard a very soft closing of the door that he slowly opened his eyes and stared at the white bedding that was close at hand. The conflicting emotions in his heart still refused to let him off so easily.
What was going on with him lately? Just being looked at like that, his heart was inexplicably beating faster.
Shen ChiTai lay on the bed with complicated feelings. The phone next to him suddenly rang twice. He moved slowly for two seconds before reaching out to pick it up and glanced at it. It was an advertisement push.
Feeling a little annoyed, the omega simply put the phone on silent mode and casually tossed it aside, not bothering to pay attention to it anymore.
His mind was in a mess, and he lay on the bed in a daze for a long time. Later, he unknowingly fell asleep. When he woke up and opened his eyes again, the sky outside the window was already bright. He reached out and felt for his phone, unlocked it and glanced at the time, 9:30.
There were also several missed calls on his phone from last night around 12:00 to almost 1:00, all from Xu Chen. He had called five or six times in a row, so it was possible there was something urgent.
He dialed the other party’s number, but after a few seconds of ringing, it reminded him that the other party’s phone was turned off, please call again later.
Shen ChiTai was stunned for a long time, staring at the phone that couldn’t be connected. After putting down the phone, he slowly sat up and turned his head to look at the sunny window outside.
He was sure that he was the one who had corrupted this kid. Shang Jue was most obedient to him when he was a child, but now he had become like this. Thinking carefully, he had indeed paid less attention to Shang Jue in the past two years of his relationship, so it was no wonder that the alpha was acting up.
When he went out, Shang Jue wasn’t there. He had said some harsh words in anger last night. That brat was always sensitive, and he was probably angry and hiding away, not wanting to see him.
But when he thought about what someone had done to him, if he took the initiative to coax the other party now, wouldn’t he be even more indulgent of the alpha’s outrageous behavior. It would be better to take this opportunity to let the other party reflect on their actions. Having made up his mind, he casually tidied himself up and went to the Cat Cafe first.
