    ## Chapter 111: Why are you so dumb?

Yun Yi hadn’t been to school for a while. He didn’t want to go, and Qin Jiangqiu indulged him.

At the Qin Corporation, he would either sit on the carpet leisurely painting or curl up on the soft sofa with a book, buying whatever caught his eye using Qin Jiangqiu’s phone.

A mountain of packages arrived, and in the evening, Yun Yi would sit on the sofa unpacking them.

He was keen on buying all sorts of small ornaments, so Qin Jiangqiu specially bought a rosewood curio cabinet for Yun Yi to display them. He even converted his master bedroom into Yun Yi’s studio, filled with all the paintings Yun Yi had painted over the years.

Among them, the husky figure with a missing corner was placed in the center, painted with color, its black eyes clear and foolish.

A month later, news came that the Yun Corporation had gone bankrupt.

Yun Yi, who was fiddling with yarn at the time, paused, casually asking, “What about Yun Chongshan?”

    “Sentenced to six years.”

“Zhang… I sent the others to the Yuan’ai Nursing Home.”

“Mm.” Yun Yi picked up a light gray yarn ball and compared it to the side of Qin Jiangqiu’s face, smiling as he asked, “Brother, do you like this color?”

Qin Jiangqiu squeezed Yun Yi’s fingers, “Do I need to take care of anything in the prison?”

Yun Yi didn’t answer, asking instead, “Hurry up and tell me if you like this color.”

    “I like it.”

Yun Yi didn’t refuse, so he must need it, Qin Jiangqiu thought.

His wife was a little soft-hearted.

“Then how about I knit you a scarf?”

Qin Jiangqiu looked at the sun outside.

It was August, summer, and his wife was talking about knitting him a scarf.

    “Okay.”

    Alright, alright.

It would just be a little hot, but he couldn’t let his wife’s good intentions go to waste.

Facts proved that he was overthinking it.

The clever and obedient Yun Yi was clearly a little clumsy when it came to handicrafts. At first, he held the knitting needles properly, but after knitting a bit, he would unravel it with a frustrated expression.

Over and over again, after two days, the yarn ball disappeared.

Later, Qin Jiangqiu woke up in the middle of the night and found that Yun Yi wasn’t there.

Following the light, he saw Yun Yi sitting on the sofa, his back to him, knitting a scarf.

The section that had already been knitted hung down, uneven in length, looking… well, quite bumpy.

He was hiding from him to knit, apparently not wanting him to see.

Qin Jiangqiu quietly returned to the room, and when he checked the time, it was almost dawn.

He was afraid that Yun Yi’s health wasn’t good, so they always lived a life of health, never going to bed later than ten o’clock.

After thinking it over, he coughed lightly, pretending to have just woken up, and called out, “Xiao Yi.”

Outside, Yun Yi hurriedly put away the yarn, covering it with a blanket.

It made a bulging shape on the sofa, but Qin Jiangqiu pretended not to see it.

“What are you doing in the living room so late?”

Yun Yi lied without batting an eye, “I was thirsty, so I got up to drink water.”

    “Did you finish drinking?”

“I finished.” After saying that, he pulled Qin Jiangqiu’s hand and walked towards the bedroom, “Brother, let’s sleep, I’m sleepy.”

Qin Jiangqiu habitually asked Yun Yi for a kiss before going to bed.

He didn’t let go until the person was dazed, barely holding on.

He solved it with a cold shower every time he couldn’t resist.

He owed Yun Yi a proposal.

He had possessed the person for so long without getting married, and even the marriage certificate was obtained without Yun Yi’s consent.

Not to mention the betrothal gifts.

All his possessions had been given to him by Yun Yi.

Now, he wanted to propose to Yun Yi before taking the final step.

Counting the days, there were still three months.

Yun Yi probably wanted to give the scarf as a gift on Qin Jiangqiu’s birthday, so with time running short and the task heavy, Yun Yi proposed in September that he didn’t want to go to the Qin Corporation anymore.

Qin Jiangqiu, who was holding Yun Yi’s shoes, paused.

“What’s wrong? Did someone at the company bully you?”

Yun Yi shook his head, pursed his lips, and replied, “I want to sleep at home.”

    Little liar.

During this time, Qin Jiangqiu would pull him to sleep at ten o’clock every night. When Yun Yi thought he was asleep and wanted to get up to knit the scarf, he would hug him tightly in his arms.

Yun Yi couldn’t struggle and was afraid of waking him up, so he would obediently stay with him until dawn.

“You can sleep at the company too,” Qin Jiangqiu said, “There’s a rest area in the office. I’ll bring your favorite blanket, and you can sleep in the rest area.”

Yun Yi thought for a moment, “Okay then.”

He turned around and went to the room to take out a schoolbag, placing a Strawberry Bear doll on top as a transparent attempt to conceal something.

He deliberately walked in front of Qin Jiangqiu before zipping up the bag.

    “Brother, I’m ready.”

Qin Jiangqiu held Yun Yi’s ankle with one hand and put on his socks with the other.

He had lived for twenty-five years, and this was the first time he realized that he had a thing for hands and feet, and his desire grew as he looked at that fair foot.

Yun Yi didn’t miss the emotion on Qin Jiangqiu’s face, and a subtle arc appeared at the corner of his lips.

He dodged the sock, his toe touching Qin Jiangqiu’s knee, “My feet are sore from walking yesterday, can you rub them for me before we go, brother?”

Qin Jiangqiu looked at the round toes in front of him and actually swallowed his saliva.

He could never refuse Yun Yi, so he slowly reached out and placed his hand on that ankle, his palm on the ankle. He couldn’t help but caress the skin under his palm.

    “Sore?”

“Mm.” Yun Yi’s gaze swept over Qin Jiangqiu’s legs, and he couldn’t hold back his smile anymore. He moved his foot and pressed down.

    “Brother, you’re poking me.”

Qin Jiangqiu’s arm trembled, he gasped, and then suddenly stood up, carrying Yun Yi’s waist and walking towards the sofa, with a somewhat gnashing tone: “You did that on purpose!”

Yun Yi laughed, “Jiangqiu, why are you so dumb?”

Under his palm were Yun Yi’s two feet.

Qin Jiangqiu exposed his desire in front of Yun Yi for the first time.

This time, Yun Yi’s feet weren’t just sore, but also numb.

Now Qin Jiangqiu really had to carry him out.

Before leaving, he didn’t forget to carry his schoolbag. When he arrived at the office, he went straight to the rest area to sleep.

Qin Jiangqiu tugged at Yun Yi’s schoolbag from behind, deliberately saying, “Go to sleep, give me the schoolbag.”

    “No!”

Yun Yi didn’t say why, he just carried his schoolbag and left, and when he reached the door, he turned back to glare at Qin Jiangqiu: “Don’t wake me up, I’ll really be angry with you.”

“Okay, I won’t wake you up.”

Watching Yun Yi close the door, Qin Jiangqiu smiled helplessly.

He always loved to tease him, but he would get angry if he really took that step.

    Really… this kid.

Yun Yi looked at the scarf that was only half finished and sighed faintly.

He wanted to unravel it and knit it again, but there wasn’t enough time.

It was just a little ugly… probably not worthy of Jiangqiu.

But it was more than enough for little Jiangqiu.

Thinking this, Yun Yi continued to knit with peace of mind.

This led to Qin Jiangqiu having to knock on the door every time he entered the rest area, giving Yun Yi plenty of time to hide the scarf.

He pretended not to know, but he was actually looking forward to Yun Yi choosing that day to give it to him.

After Yun Yi fell asleep, he looked at the reddened fingertips and sighed silently.

He found some ointment and applied it to Yun Yi’s fingers, then got up and went to the living room.

Yun Yi’s schoolbag was thrown on the sofa in the living room. On top was a SpongeBob, under it was a bag, and under the bag was the scarf.

Qin Jiangqiu felt for the first time that Yun Yi wasn’t very talented in this aspect, knitting it crooked and uneven in length.

Yun Yi loved beauty the most, and he didn’t need to guess how many times his wife had sighed at this scarf.

Thinking of this, Qin Jiangqiu resigned himself to picking up the knitting needles, clumsily adding to the scarf.
