Chapter 51: No Intention to Compete

Jiang Qiu sneaked out after Yun Yi fell asleep.

It was the middle of the night, and everything outside was quiet.

Jiang Qiu purposefully walked towards a tech store that was still lit up. After a while, he came out with something in his hand.

He took a taxi back to the Yun family villa, took out a bracelet from his pocket, and put it on Yun Yi’s wrist.

The size was just right, an inch more would be too much, and an inch less would be too little.

A bead was strung in the middle, a jade bead as clear as Yun Yi’s eyes, of excellent quality.

Seeing Yun Yi wearing something he had given him, Jiang Qiu’s heart beat faster and faster.

A secret sense of satisfaction arose.

He liked that the young master wore something of his, whether it was a hickey or a bracelet, he liked it all.

After placing a kiss on the delicate wrist, Jiang Qiu lay down and held Yun Yi in his arms, falling asleep embracing the milky candy scent that belonged only to him.

Jiang Qiu woke up very early the next day because he had to catch a flight back to the Alliance District.

Yun Yi was still asleep, lying on his side next to him. His collarbone was covered with hickeys, all left by him.

Jiang Qiu checked Yun Yi’s injuries, which were much better than last time.

“The guide I read finally made some progress,” Jiang Qiu thought. If Yun Yi woke up, he certainly wouldn’t use “You’re so bad” to describe him.

He looked at Yun Yi’s face with great reluctance, but he had to return to the Qin family. He still had to obtain the Qin family so that he could marry the young master with a worthy status.

Jiang Qiu leaned down and kissed Yun Yi’s face.

Yun Yi opened his eyes slightly, looked at the magnified face in front of him, and reached out to pinch Jiang Qiu’s cheek, “Get lost!”

His voice was hoarse and extremely low, the result of crying for half the night.

Jiang Qiu retreated and kissed the palm of Yun Yi’s hand, “Young Master, I have to go.”

Yun Yi closed his eyes and wanted to continue sleeping, emitting a “Mmm” from his nose.

He didn’t pay much attention to Jiang Qiu’s words.

“Will you wait for me here? I’ll come pick you up before school starts.”

Yun Yi opened his eyes, his eyes filled with annoyance, “Jiang Qiu, you’re so noisy.”

Jiang Qiu knew, but Jiang Qiu wanted to talk to Yun Yi.

He stubbornly kissed Yun Yi’s wrist. The jade bead was warmed by his body temperature, just like the beating heart in his chest, which was hot because of Yun Yi, “Little Yi…”

Yun Yi withdrew his hand, his face cold, and he looked like he was about to get angry.

    Jiang Qiu sighed.

The young master’s liking was really so faint, so faint that he wasn’t needed at all.

The necklace around Jiang Qiu’s neck was taken off and put into his trouser pocket. Before leaving, he stood at the door and looked at Yun Yi, who was lying on the bed with his back to him.

He said in a low voice, “Young Master, I will come to pick you up soon.”

Then, the door closed, and Jiang Qiu was sent to the airport by the driver, alone on the road that would allow him to hold Yun Yi in his arms.

The moment the door closed, Yun Yi opened his eyes.

There wasn’t a trace of sleepiness in his clear eyes.

He moved his wrist, having felt the foreign object long ago. He raised his hand and saw the bead on his wrist, and he blinked his eyes in confusion.

    What is this?

He wanted to take it off, but the clasp at the end was made of something unknown and couldn’t be opened.

The silver chain fit his wrist perfectly and couldn’t be taken off.

He raised his hand to look at it. Well… it’s alright.

Yun Yi felt that Jiang Qiu’s aesthetic sense was finally influenced by him, and his taste in selecting things had improved a lot.

He didn’t dwell on the bracelet. He lay flat on his back and replayed all the events in his mind.

After a long time, after feeling the pain in the back of his neck, Yun Yi gritted his teeth and clenched his fingers, found his phone, and sent Jiang Qiu a voice message full of scolding.

After getting off the plane, Jiang Qiu checked his phone as soon as possible. He was quite surprised that the young master would send him a voice message.

After hearing Yun Yi’s voice, Jiang Qiu couldn’t help but laugh.

He could imagine what Yun Yi looked like when he cursed: eyes wide open, and perhaps clenching his fists to increase the momentum.

    Truly both silly and charming.

The Alliance District was familiar to Jiang Qiu. He went directly to the Qin family. As soon as he stepped into the entrance, the receptionist omega greeted him, “Manager, President Qin said that you need to contact him first when you arrive.”

Jiang Qiu stopped, nodded, took out his phone, and called Qin Tingli.

It was Butler Zhong who answered.

“Young Master, President Qin asked me to ask you, is there anything outside that you can’t bear to part with?”

Jiang Qiu didn’t speak, and Butler Zhong continued, “You promised President Qin that you would take care of the Yun family’s affairs within a month, otherwise, President Qin wouldn’t mind helping you personally.”

Jiang Qiu looked at the waiting area in front of him, his eyes instantly darkened. He used the most ordinary tone to tell Butler Zhong, “I have already taken care of it.”

His voice was so faint that there wasn’t a trace of fluctuation.

Qin Tingli nodded in satisfaction beside him and gestured to Butler Zhong to continue.

“It’s good that you’ve taken care of it. President Qin hopes that this matter of continuous absenteeism will not happen to you again. After all, the Yun family is a small family and cannot withstand any accidents.”

Jiang Qiu was silent for a long time and hung up the phone directly.

The “beep beep” sound came from the other end. Butler Zhong put the phone next to Qin Tingli and then stood respectfully to the side.

Qin Tingli chuckled, “Where did that Yun family omega go?”

    “District Three.”

“Has Jiang Qiu been in District Three these past two days as well?”

    “Yes.”

Qin Tingli was silent for a long time, picked up the tea on the table, and took a sip, “Take a look at the suitable omegas in the family. Jiang Qiu needs to settle down.”

Butler Zhong didn’t respond immediately but said, “Master, Jiang Qiu is only eighteen years old this year…”

“Not to get married.” Qin Tingli sneered, “A child who hasn’t seen the world is easily blinded by the only, best thing in front of him. Once he’s seen the world, he’ll know that the best thing he thought was just fish eyes.”

The Yun family is just a small family, and the omega they raised is also not presentable.

There are many omegas in the big families, and there will always be one that catches Jiang Qiu’s eye.

Butler Zhong didn’t quite understand Qin Tingli’s approach, so he stood aside and didn’t speak.

Qin Tingli placed the teacup on the table, and the sound it made struck Butler Zhong’s heart. He hurriedly responded, “Yes, I will order someone to contact them.”

But Qin Tingli didn’t speak. After a long time, he opened his mouth and said, “Lao Zhong, you dote on this child?”

“To me, the Young Master and the Little Young Master are the same in my eyes.”

“The same…” Qin Tingli’s gaze fell on the tea pet not far away, and he said slowly, “The Qin family only needs one heir.”

“Zhi Ci is an A-rank alpha, and Jiang Qiu is an S-rank.”

Butler Zhong had a grasp of the situation.

Qin Tingli added, “I need an heir who can take the Qin family to the next level. Let’s see what Jiang Qiu is capable of. But before I make a decision, no one can interfere with Jiang Qiu, except for Zhi Ci.”

    “Otherwise, whoever interferes, kill them.”

Butler Zhong nodded, “Master, I understand.”

President Qin wanted to see which of the two heirs could win.

The winner gets the Qin family, but what about the loser?

Qin Zhici still has the contacts and money he has accumulated over the years, so even if he loses, he can leave with dignity, but Jiang Qiu only has one path to take.

He has no choice but to win. Once he loses, Qin Zhici will have plenty of ways to drive Jiang Qiu to extinction, leaving no room for him to turn around.

Unless, Jiang Qiu shows from the beginning that he has no intention of competing for the Qin family at all.
