    Chapter 32: Get Out!

    Chapter 32: Get Out!

The consequence of the young master getting angry was Jiang Qiu being pushed out of the room.

He stood by the door, barefoot, the corners of his eyes tinged with red, both hands pushing hard against Jiang Qiu’s chest: “Get out!”

    Jiang Qiu found it amusing.

Wasn’t he just letting him win at chess? Why was he still so angry?

He reached out to put his arm around Yun Yi’s shoulders, wanting to pull him into his embrace, but Yun Yi reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, his fur almost standing on end.

    “Jiang Qiu, get lost!”

    “…Don’t be angry.”

Yun Yi glared at him, refusing to speak, standing by the door and refusing to retreat a single step, his attitude of resistance obvious.

“Shall I draw a bath for you?”

    “…”

Jiang Qiu was silent for a moment, looking at Yun Yi’s round eyes, and said softly, “Young Master, good night.”

He had only taken a few steps when the door behind him slammed shut with a “bang.”

The force of the impact showed how angry the young master was.

    Actually, that wasn’t the case.

As soon as Yun Yi closed the door, the anger on his face vanished. He sat back down in front of the chessboard, recreated the previous game, and studied Jiang Qiu’s moves.

Yun Yi was eager to learn, and he continued to study until he went to bed.

He tossed and turned, unable to understand why he had turned victory into defeat.

Unable to sleep, he simply got out of bed, and his feet led him downstairs. The moment he opened the refrigerator, he blinked in disbelief.

Suspecting he had misremembered, he looked down again.

Until his eyes caught sight of the trash can next to him, Yun Yi was stunned.

After a two-second reaction, he rushed over, wanting to kick Jiang Qiu’s door open. But he lowered his head and looked at his bare toes, and changed his kick to a pounding with his hand.

    “Bang, bang, bang!!”

A hint of a smile appeared on the corner of Jiang Qiu’s lips. The moment he opened the door, a slap came flying at him. The smile hadn’t even faded when a red handprint appeared on his face.

Yun Yi’s face was flushed with anger, and this time he was truly angry. His fingers were trembling after hitting him.

“Jiang Qiu, I’m going to kill you!”

Jiang Qiu’s head was turned to the side by the slap. He touched the inside of his cheek with his tongue, lowered his eyes and looked at Yun Yi’s toes, wanting to pick him up, but afraid the young master would be even angrier.

    “Get lost.”

Yun Yi didn’t want to see Jiang Qiu again. He didn’t have much time left, and he wanted to be happy for the rest of his days, but the pet in front of him was always trying to provoke him.

He didn’t want a pet like that.

    “Young Master, I was wrong.”

Yun Yi looked at Jiang Qiu coldly, his heart trembling with anger. His voice was extremely cold, completely lacking the playful, rogue-like manner he had when playing chess earlier.

    “You’re very good.”

“But, from today onwards, I don’t want to see you.”

    “Get lost.”

After saying that, Yun Yi turned to leave, but his wrist was grabbed. Jiang Qiu looked at Yun Yi, who was a head shorter than him, and for a moment didn’t know what to say.

Finally, after thinking for a while, he could only apologize again and again. He bent down, his cheek close to Yun Yi’s, his dark phoenix eyes full of the young master’s reflection.

    Shamelessly pestering Yun Yi.

“Young Master, I was wrong, don’t be angry.”

Yun Yi was truly angry. He had been controlled since he was a child, and it wouldn’t stop until he died. As a result, the second world was the same.

He seemed to never be a person, but an object.

An object that anyone could control.

Yun Yi gritted his teeth, his eyes bloodshot. He mustered the last bit of his reason and pushed away Jiang Qiu’s hand, “Get away! Get out!”

He thought his voice was loud and fierce, but his voice was hoarse and trembling. His breathing became heavy, his lips pale. Both his expression and breathing showed signs of collapse.

At the same time, a large amount of pheromones leaked from the back of his neck, thick and chaotic.

Jiang Qiu’s face changed, and the hand that had been pushed away tightly grabbed Yun Yi’s shoulders again, “Young Master, what’s wrong?”

Yun Yi was unable to break free, his wrist just hanging down like that, tears gathering in the corners of his eyes, refusing to fall, refusing to swallow, his pair of glass-like eyes full of mist.

Only now did Jiang Qiu realize how panicked he was. It was the first time he had seen Yun Yi so angry, without hysteria, without loud questioning, as if his heart had died and he had accepted the facts.

Finding a trace of clarity in the panicked emotions, he looked into Yun Yi’s eyes, and his fingertips gently wiped away the tears at the corners of Yun Yi’s eyes: “Shall I take you to buy it again?”

“Young Master, I was wrong. Don’t be like this, can you hit me?”

“I… I’ll take you to buy it now.”

Yun Yi didn’t speak, but his head was covered in fine sweat. He just stood there and large tears fell, dripping down his chin. He seemed to have not heard Jiang Qiu’s words.

He re-entered his own world, the words in his ears turning into a buzzing sound. He seemed to have returned to the time when he was locked in the hospital.

No one would listen to his opinions, no one would care about his thoughts.

He was arranged to accept everything.

He thought his illness was cured, but it wasn’t, it was hidden. Anything could be a fuse.

He was still Yun Yi, the one without freedom, locked in the mental hospital.

Yun Yi raised his eyes and looked at the person in front of him who kept buzzing.

His empty eyes never focused, and he couldn’t even see the person in front of him clearly. He moved his lips, as if he said something, as if he didn’t.

    Finally, his vision slowly disappeared.

    “Yun Yi!!”

Jiang Qiu grabbed Yun Yi, his panicked tone choked with sobs, and carried him horizontally, running downstairs quickly, “Doctor!”

There were two people left at home, one was the family doctor and the other was Zhang Ma.

Jiang Qiu’s shout woke them both up, and they walked towards Jiang Qiu in a panic.

Ten minutes later, Jiang Qiu sat by the bed dejectedly, like a large dog that had been chased away but secretly ran back to see its owner.

“How did he faint? The young master’s condition has been very stable for a while now, how could he suddenly faint?” The family doctor put away the acupuncture needles and looked at Jiang Qiu with a heavy expression. His slightly childish face still had a red handprint on it.

Jiang Qiu’s face was pale, and he was afraid in his heart. He replied in a low voice, “I made him angry.”

Zhang Ma and the family doctor looked at each other, not saying anything. Before leaving the room, the family doctor said, “If you don’t like the young master, you can leave. The young master won’t stop you, and neither will Zhang Lan and I.”

Jiang Qiu knew they had misunderstood, but he didn’t explain, he just shook his head.

The bedroom became quiet, so quiet that only the young master’s weak, regular breathing could be heard.

Jiang Qiu didn’t move, he took Yun Yi’s hand and kissed it again and again.

    “Yun Yi…”

    “Wake up…”

    “Yun Yi, wake up…”

He murmured, kissing Yun Yi’s hand, but the sleeping person didn’t give him an answer. The empty room was so quiet that it wouldn’t even give an echo.

Only the bright lights listened to his trembling, his confusion, and the surging love that he couldn’t express.
