Water Deep, Muddy (Part 1)

    Water Deep, Muddy (Part 1)

The Heaven Realm’s Transformation of Joy Heaven (Hualetian) is not the rumored mountain of corpses and sea of blood, a cave of ten thousand demons, a completely barbaric and undeveloped land. Rather, it is built to resemble the most prosperous Hangzhou city of the human realm. As the saying goes, “Above there is Heaven, below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou.” In the Transformation of Joy Heaven, pavilions and towers float on the clouds, hidden in the mist, ethereal and dreamlike. The sounds of singing, dancing, and stringed instruments never cease. Although there is no daylight within, it is always brightly lit with lanterns and the light of jade pots. If one were to stray into it, they would likely mistake it for the divine Purple Palace or a paradise on earth.

And the thousand-foot-tall tower that pierces the clouds at the center of the Transformation of Joy Heaven is the Demonic Lord’s residence.

    “I’ve brought the person.”

Li Huai Su did not send word ahead of his arrival, nor did he see the Demonic Lord. However, he did not wish to linger in the Transformation of Joy Heaven. He tossed Li Shan onto a soft couch in the room and wanted to leave.

But, hearing the movement, someone immediately lifted the curtain from behind a screen.

A young man with white teeth and dark eyebrows, dressed as a scholar, wore a gray square scarf, fastened with two jade stones threaded together. His sideburns were a bit loose, but he had a natural and unrestrained cuteness. His eyes fell on Li Huai Su’s back, and he stepped forward two or three steps, craning his neck to meet Li Shan’s gaze.

Although Li Shan was now awake, the effects of the Buddha Tear Flower’s drug had not completely dissipated. He felt dizzy spells, and he was stunned to suddenly see this young man.

The Heavenly Demon Demonic Lord had been dormant in the Demon World for many years and rarely appeared, so almost no one had seen the Demonic Lord’s appearance.

Li Shan couldn’t hide what was on his mind. Seeing a young man in front of him who was no different from a young scholar in the mortal realm, he couldn’t help but show a look of surprise on his face–this was actually the true form of the Demonic Lord Tian Chang?

However, he did not let his guard down because of Tian Chang’s benign appearance. With Shi En’s example before him, Li Shan could no longer believe that the person in front of him would be easy to deal with.

Seeing this, Tian Chang smiled and moved closer to Li Shan, but immediately sneezed several times, stumbling backward. He squinted, covered the tip of his nose with the back of his hand, and asked Li Huai Su, “What’s that smell on him?”

Li Huai Su answered matter-of-factly, “He was with Shi En earlier.”

Tian Chang revealed a look of sudden realization, with an expression of somewhat affected exaggeration of disgust: “I can’t stand his habits the most.” However, after he recovered a little, he eagerly moved closer to Li Shan again, leaning on the soft couch with his knees raised, his body slightly forward.

His first action was to reach out and pinch Li Shan’s cheek.

Li Shan was originally somewhat wary, his body tense, his back pressed against the back of the soft couch. But at this moment, he was a little dazed by Tian Chang’s inexplicable behavior.

Tian Chang pinched him a couple of times, then his fingertips slowly moved down, landing on Li Shan’s neck.

The neck has always been a vital point. Tian Chang’s fingertip was almost pressed against Li Shan’s artery. With just a little force, Li Shan could be splattered with blood. Li Shan’s Adam’s apple bobbed twice, and finally, he closed his eyes as if resigned to his fate.

Who knew that Tian Chang seemed to just be curious about Li Shan’s pulse. He listened carefully for a while, then his hand continued to move down restlessly.

Li Huai Su was too lazy to talk with Shi En, and almost dragged Li Shan away from No Ferry Sea. Apart from feeling that his scant clothing was an eyesore, and throwing a piece of clothing over him, he didn’t care much. Various ornaments dangled loosely on his chest, making a tinkling sound with the slightest movement.

Tian Chang seemed to suddenly become interested, teasing his chest like a cat’s paw playing with tassels, pulling here and tugging there, until Li Shan finally couldn’t bear it anymore. He barely raised his hand and pressed down on Tian Chang’s movement.

Tian Chang was also somewhat surprised that Li Shan dared to defy him at this time, and slightly widened his eyes to meet Li Shan’s gaze.

Li Shan opened his mouth with difficulty, “What are you doing?”

Tian Chang’s eyebrows were pale, his phoenix eyes slightly upturned. When he smiled, he had a kind of indescribable and unsettling feeling. He said quite frankly, “I’m just a little curious. You look no different from those mortals.”

Li Shan frowned slightly upon hearing this, and subconsciously said, “I am a mortal, so naturally I am no different.”

Although the cultivation world is separate from the human world, the fate of cultivators and mortals is only separated by a line. Whether it is magnificent and full of flowers, or poor and struggling to survive in troubled times, they cannot escape birth, old age, sickness, and death.

A hundred years ago, the founder of Cui Wei Sword Pavilion attained the Dao and ascended to immortality. Since then, no one has been heard of who has been able to glimpse the secrets of heaven and ascend to become an immortal. Li Shan was originally an illegitimate child of the Hedong Li Family who was not presentable and could not be seen in the light. He borrowed Li Huai Su’s opportunity to shed his mortal body and enter Cui Wei Sword Pavilion to cultivate. Naturally, he never felt that he was superior to others.

But Tian Chang smiled and said, “Not so, not so. A hundred years ago, the old ancestor of the Sword Pavilion ascended to the upper realm. I inherited the position of Demonic Lord, and the Great Witch of the clan once predicted that there would be golden pupils in the mortal realm, which would become a scourge for the demon race. I was also worried day and night. Now that you have fallen into my hands, I feel like I’m dreaming.”

He raised his index finger and pointed at Li Shan’s eyes. Li Shan subconsciously narrowed his eyes, and only heard Tian Chang continue, “Your eyes are beautiful, but they don’t look like gold, but like glass balls. There is a poem in the human world that says, ‘Colored clouds are easy to scatter, and glass is fragile. Most good things are not strong,’ that’s probably right.”

While speaking, the other hand was not very honest, and slowly slid towards his waist. Li Shan dodged imperceptibly and met the eyes of Li Huai Su, who was standing with his arms folded. Li Huai Su glanced at him indifferently and said to Tian Chang, “Since there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave first.”

But Tian Chang raised his eyes, which were bright and a little eerie, and smiled at Li Huai Su, “Why is the Young Master Li in such a hurry to leave? Since you hate him so much, why don’t you watch before you go?”

Li Huai Su misunderstood his meaning and said with displeasure, “I don’t have the hobby of watching others’ cloud and rain pleasure.”

As he spoke, Tian Chang’s hand had already slid to Li Shan’s waist, his palm pressed against his lower abdomen, his movements were very gentle. Tian Chang smiled: “I forgot that Young Master Li has always been pure-hearted and ascetic, and doesn’t like to watch these dirty things, but…”

Having said that, Li Shan seemed to sense something unusual. His animalistic sensitivity made him instinctively want to dodge, but Tian Chang pulled him back into his arms and held him tightly, unable to move.

Tian Chang hugged him very intimately, as if he liked and cherished him very much. The warm palm was pressed against Li Shan’s lower abdomen, the strength was not strong, and it could almost be regarded as the most gentle caress. But Li Shan felt an unbearable pain coming from his lower abdomen. It was a pain like tearing flesh and blood apart and reorganizing it, as if a sharp blade was cutting him open, and he still felt insufficient. It was cruelly stirring his organs in his abdominal cavity, maliciously scraping every inch of the inner wall. Although Li Shan was a cultivator, he was not made of steel. The pain exceeded the threshold of human acceptance, and almost broke his conscious nerves.

Li Huai Su originally wanted to leave directly, after all, how Tian Chang would deal with Li Shan had nothing to do with him; whatever end Li Shan met, he would be happy to see it happen.

After all, he cherished those small childhood friendships and didn’t want to be the executioner holding the knife, but he was happy to fuel the flames.

However, after hearing a scream from behind, he was stunned for a moment and suddenly stopped.

Li Huai Su’s mother was compassionate and liked to help injured small animals near the Buddhist temple. When Li Huai Su was a child, in order to get close to his mother, he would deliberately injure the limbs of animals and take them to his mother for treatment.

Among these animals, wild rabbits are the best at enduring pain, and he has hardly heard them scream.

Li Shan is also an extremely good at enduring pain, unless it is absolutely unbearable, he will never be so distraught, he will only swallow everything silently into his stomach, like an extremely boring stubborn stone, the mountain wind and clouds are intertwined, jade is broken and tiles are also broken.

Li Huai Su slowly turned around and saw that Li Shan had fainted with a pale face.

Although there was no blood on his body, it could be seen that his condition was extremely bad. Cold sweat dripped from his forehead, and his messy hair was soaked. He leaned back weakly against Tian Chang’s body, his head resting on his shoulder, and actually showed a bit of fragile vulnerability.

Li Huai Su’s face was unmoved, and he only asked coldly, “What did you do to him?”

Tian Chang raised his hand, helped Li Shan to brush away the broken hair on his forehead, and his tone was almost carrying some naive cruelty: “It’s just a small trick of the Heavenly Demon Clan. Thousands of years ago, the Heavenly Demon Clan was able to change the shape of everything by borrowing the power of the Demon Ancestor. Even cultivators with cultivation, crushing them into meat balls like kneading mud was easy. Now that the Demon Ancestor has fallen, the power of the Heavenly Demon Clan is not as good as before, but some small changes can still be made. I have added a □□ and uterus to him so that he can bear children.”

Hearing Tian Chang’s extremely nasty words, Li Huai Su sneered: “What’s the use? It is difficult for your Heavenly Demon Clan to reproduce offspring, it’s just for show.”

Tian Chang seriously said to Li Huai Su: “Why don’t you try it together too? After all, you entered the demonic path with your physical body, and in the final analysis, you are also a mortal body, so you should be able to make him conceive, right?”

He was actually just asking casually. It is difficult for the Heavenly Demon Clan to reproduce offspring, so there are not so many twists and turns of rules and chastity. How Li Huai Su wants to participate in it, Tian Chang still finds it quite interesting.

The anger that Li Huai Su had suppressed in Shi En’s place suddenly came up again. He was almost disgusted by the inexplicable and fanatical desire for reproduction of the Heavenly Demon Clan. He took a deep breath and said: “Please respect yourself, Demonic Lord.”

Seeing that Li Huai Su’s face was not very good, Tian Chang immediately understood: “Oh, that’s right, in your cultivation world, human world, this kind of thing is called □□, right? I was not thoughtful enough, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”

Li Huai Su felt a sense of powerlessness that he could not communicate with. The Heavenly Demon Clan was originally the epitome of the three poisons of ignorance, and after the Demon Ancestor fell, they were even stupider. He explained seriously: “Li Shan and I are not biological brothers, there is no blood relationship. Even if we really do this kind of thing, it’s not considered □□.”

As soon as the words came out, Li Huai Su suddenly wanted to slap himself.

Why did he make this assumption? Explain this kind of thing to Tian Chang?

Tian Chang didn’t know if he understood or not, but he nodded casually, reached out to find the newly born organs. Li Shan was still unconscious, his crow-black eyelashes trembled uncomfortably, and his thin chest heaved erratically.

Seeing this, Li Huai Su felt nauseous again.

The blind and ignorant Heavenly Demon Demonic Lord looked at him, as if he was lost in thought, and suddenly said seriously: “It is and it isn’t, you are the most ‘self-denying and ceremonial’ and ‘compassionate and weak’ model. You and Li Shan grew up together. Although he is not your biological brother, you really treated him as your own brother, otherwise you wouldn’t have resented him for surpassing you in everything after entering Cui Wei Sword Pavilion, right?”

Li Huai Su’s eyelids twitched when he heard these words, his face turned cold, and he turned around and left.

Tian Chang’s voice still came from behind him: “You want him to be unsuccessful, weak and bullied, and always be a good brother who protects him, but you can’t bear that he can surpass you. The order of seniority is reversed, humans are really complicated creatures, I have never been able to understand.”

Li Huai Su left the Transformation of Joy Heaven, but still couldn’t help but vomit.
